About: I volunteered at an animal shelter throughout high school and had two dogs of my own. My first dog, Daisy, was a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I then fostered and adopted Howie, a Chiweenie, in 2020. Both have since crossed over the Rainbow Bridge, and I miss them every day. I have regularly dog sat for neighbors, friends, and even professors in college. I love all animals of all shapes and sizes and would love to take care of your furry friend! I am in the Chicago area before I move to Iowa at the end of the summer. I don’t have any other commitments and could spend all my time caring for your dogs and/or cats! I am available for a range of services from dog-walking to staying overnight! Whether you just need someone to come check in on your pet a few times a day or need someone to play with them all day long, I’m your girl.

About: Ever since I was a kid, I’ve just really cherished being around animals, even the ones who aren’t super cuddly. I have a lot of patience and respect for each pet’s personality and comfort level, and I do my best to make them feel safe, happy, and cared for while their people are away. I work full time during the week and try to stay busy on the weekend, but I will absolutely work my weekend schedule around you/your pet’s needs. I have a big fenced backyard and plenty of space inside for house-trained pets to relax, whether that’s on the couch, a comfy chair, or the floor. I share my home with one dog, a terrier mix named Minnie. She’s playful and friendly, but if your dog prefers to keep to themselves, I can easily keep them separated. Older dogs sometimes find her a bit too energetic, while younger pups usually have a great time playing with her.

About: I started pet sitting as a teenager for neighbors and family friends. Since then, I have watched all types of dogs, including senior dogs. I became a dog owner for the first time in my mid-twenties. He was an elderly beagle mix with health issues. After he passed, I grieved until I was ready to own a dog again. Through that time, I provided medication, took him for chemotherapy, and spoiled him until he decided it was time to cross the rainbow bridge. Shadow's absence still leaves a void in my heart that is filled by caring for other people's dogs. I love all types of dogs, and have experience with small to large, young and old, as well as dogs living with various health issues. My husband and I live in a dog-friendly neighborhood and our backyard is fully fenced. As a dog lover himself, anyone who books with me gets their pup double the love. Sage was great! I was very nervous using a new sitter for this trip. We were leaving the country and had an elderly cat going through some health issues. Sage was willing to do all the things needed to help our cat, in addition to the regular tasks of care for her, our dog and a couple of little potatoes. Stephanie took wonderful care of both my kitties and my home! She communicated each day with photos and notes on how they were doing. She was very attentive to a change in behavior with one of my babies - she made sure to reach out to me, and even my emergency contact just to affirm that everything was OK. I’m extremely appreciative for both the attention and communication, because one of my cats is diabetic and sometimes a small thing is a big thing. Most importantly, my cats love her! They are always happy and well cared for when I return home. Stephanie also kept my house very clean and even changed my sheets for me so I could just return home and go right to bed. Very grateful to have her as a Sitter!
The weekend of my son and daughter-in-law’s wedding, Angelina provided care to their cat as well as my three cats, staying overnight for two nights at my home. Prior to that weekend, she came over to meet the cats and myself and run through their daily care routine. Even my shy cat Brody seemed curious about her. Wedding weekend, she was great at providing updates through text and photos throughout her stay, and I appreciated her attention to cleaning up their litter boxes and feeding mats one more time before she left. She has a gift for working with animals and is trustworthy and easy to communicate with. I will definitely use her again!
Oh goodness, I don't know where to begin! Miguel is wonderful! He kept in touch with me and if he had questions on Zona's care he reached out to me for clarity. Dana did a great job taking care of our dog while we were on vacation for the week. She was very thorough when meeting with us before hand, and it was obvious that she takes her job seriously! She even stayed in our home a few nights and brought her own sheets so we wouldn’t have to wash them after. Highly recommend Dana!
We had Cheryl watch our senior dog, who had only ever been left overnight with family before, so I was definitely a bit nervous. Cheryl was absolutely wonderful and put my mind at ease right away. She took such great care of our dog and kept us consistently updated, which meant so much to us. We could not be happier with the experience and will definitely be using Cheryl again in the future.
