“Barbara was awesome! Unfortunately I booked with a different sitter who subsequently stated she could not watch my dog (Bailey) less than 24 hours after I dropped her off. The sitter stated Bailey was barking frantically and subsequently cancelled shortly before I was supposed to board my international flight with my family early the following morning. For Bailey to be barking frantically is unlike Bailey. Rover subsequently reached out to several sitters on my behalf while I was on my flight and described Bailey as having “separation anxiety” because of what the other sitter stated and “needing plenty of attention and play time”. Unlike to how Bailey was described, Bailey doesn’t bark much and has a calm temperament. My whole flight my family and I were wondering what would happen with Bailey in reference to how she was being described and if she’d be in good hands. Barbara fortunately volunteered for the job and her and I texted briefly while still on my flight because she wanted to know more about Bailey. I advised her that the manner in which the other sitter was describing Bailey was out of character. Barbara subsequently volunteered to pickup Bailey from the other sitter. Once Barbara was with Bailey she sent me a picture and reassured me Bailey was in good hands. Barbara would routinely send me pictures on updates of Bailey throughout the days we were gone. Additionally, Barbara gave Bailey her medicine twice daily for her ear infection. Barbara was great and I would recommend her services.”

We arranged a couple of day visits and a few overnight stays ahead of my trip so Teddy could slowly adjust to her home and routine. “Malcholm and his family took amazing care of my two dogs pitbull mixes. They stayed for about five days and Malcholm sent photos every day. He incorporated my dogs into their family life and it really seems like the dogs had a great time. Malcholm included the dogs on walks to school as well as at neighborhood activities. Both dogs take supplements with their meals, and Malcholm followed my feeding instructions carefully. He also asked clarification questions to ensure that their transition was smooth and that they were comfortable during their stay. Malcholm was easy to communicate with and coordinate with before during and after my dogs’ stay at his home. The kids in the home enjoyed the dogs and I’m glad that they kept my dogs company while I was away. Malcholm and his family really really enjoy animals and I’m glad that my pups can be part of their lives every now and again. Gracie and Sisco’s beds, blanket and toys were well taken care of and I think, even cleaned before I picked them up. I’m very happy with the care that Malcholm and his family provided to my dogs and I will certainly avail of his services again when I go out of town or need overnight dog care. As a child, my family bred and raised Irish Setters and kept any pup that was not 100% healthy for adoption. Our three kitties are very accustomed to dogs but we have plenty of room to separate them if they overstimulate your doggy. Our three level home, plus large back yard, will give your pup plenty of room to play inside and out! We typically run and play in the backyard during potty breaks and go out for several walks a day. The yard is only 90% fenced so I have several 50ft leashes around the yard to provide the illusion of freedom while maintaining safety. If your pup is high energy, they can also play with the neighbor’s dogs or we can take a trip to the dog park so they can socialize and run with other pups. I assure you they will get lots of cuddles and attention and I will send photos and vids of your pup to you throughout their stay! I am available for boarding in my home on the weekends, beginning Friday evening through Monday morning. I can also board at your home from Saturday morning through Sunday evening. I will treat your pet like a member of the family! If they get muddy in the backyard I have no problem giving them a bath and brushing them. They are welcome on the furniture and will not be left alone while they are in my care.

About: I’ve owned two Pitbulls who I hold very close to my heart and have dog sat for friends, family members and neighbors. Some dog breeds I’ve worked with are Pitbulls, Retrievers, mini Aussie doodles, labradoodles, and standard poodles. I am currently Dog/cat CPR certified. I’m currently working part time and taking classes at COD. My hours are: Monday 6:00am-12:00pm, Tuesday:6:00am-3:00pm, Wednesday: 6:00am-3:00pm, Thursday: 11:30am-1:00pm. I can do some Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays as well some current days I’ll be gone are July 17-19, and August 21-24 but other than that if you need help on Friday, Saturday or a Sunday please don’t hesitate to reach out. When it comes to taking care of pets - I care for them like they are my own. I make sure they are well cared for, fed, brushed, and I monitor overall healthiness. I report any changes in health or energy to their family. I’ve also given my clients a text letting them know I’ve arrived and when I’ve left, as well as a photo/video updates of their dog. When a client’s dog has medicine - I am skilled at helping administer the medicine so dogs feel comfortable. I monitor food and water change water and add when necessary or according to schedule. I clean up if there happened to be an accident such as potty or throw up, properly disposing of waste. I provide walks for exercise and believe in positive reinforcement. Play time is important so I provide games - such as chase or catch - to keep their minds and body active. I make sure their paws are clean after play/walks and wipe their paws when they come in the house. When I leave, I do safety checks to make sure I’ve properly lock up such as double checking to make sure the door is locked and if there’s a gate double checking to make sure the gate is closed and locked.

“Malcholm and his family took amazing care of my two dogs pitbull mixes. They stayed for about five days and Malcholm sent photos every day. He incorporated my dogs into their family life and it really seems like the dogs had a great time. Malcholm included the dogs on walks to school as well as at neighborhood activities. Both dogs take supplements with their meals, and Malcholm followed my feeding instructions carefully. He also asked clarification questions to ensure that their transition was smooth and that they were comfortable during their stay. Malcholm was easy to communicate with and coordinate with before during and after my dogs’ stay at his home. The kids in the home enjoyed the dogs and I’m glad that they kept my dogs company while I was away. Malcholm and his family really really enjoy animals and I’m glad that my pups can be part of their lives every now and again. Gracie and Sisco’s beds, blanket and toys were well taken care of and I think, even cleaned before I picked them up. I’m very happy with the care that Malcholm and his family provided to my dogs and I will certainly avail of his services again when I go out of town or need overnight dog care. I don’t think my dogs Gracie and Sisco have ever been happier while I was away and I am super grateful to have found Malcholm! Thank you!!”

About: I’ve been dog sitting for friends & family for years. This includes different shapes and sizes. I am a dog mom myself and overall pet lover. I have a flexible full time nursing job that allows me to work 3 times a week. I am looking to fill my free time with more pet care. I am reliable, detailed-oriented, calm and confident in my abilities to provide the best quality of care for your fur baby. I have a walking schedule with my dog at home. We currently do not have a fence but the dogs are always leashed even if just soaking up sun in the backyard. My dog does not get crated but I do have a medium sized crate and can be used if needed. We enjoy taking 3 walks a day and this includes being leashed at all times. My dog is friendly with neighbor dogs and we stop by when we see them if time allows. If my dog runs into an unfriendly dog, we remove ourselves from the situation immediately.
