“Shirley was a natural with Snowflake. It was like they were already old pals even though this was her first stay. I appreciated Shirley keeping updated with great pictures; that kept me at ease. And she was great with her communication. Thanks so much Shirley!!”

“OMG!!! Connie was the best -mom away from home- I could ask for!!! Juiji and Jojo were so cute. Connie made sure Juiji was comfortable and that I was sure she was safe, behaving, and co-mingling. Her photos of Juiji should be in a doggy magazine! I could not have asked for a better -mom away from home- and she's the best and she's around the corner from me. So grateful for her!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND CONNIE?♥️??”

“Sarah was great. She took very good care of my dog and cat and kept me updated with photos and recaps of their activities. She obviously loves animals and I felt my boys were very safe in her care--I recommend her highly.”

“Baily did an outstanding job taking care of our little Greta (6 years old pug/boston terrier mix rescue). She kept us updated on Greta's stay with her and it was obvious from the updates and accompanying photos that Greta was feeling right at home and being showered with affection by Baily.”

“Angelica is the nicest most sincere person I have met on Rover. It was my 2 dogs that were equally on a great vacation maybe even better than mine. The dogs have a ramp to their bed, other dogs to play with and a great environment to play and live. A+++. She also was extremely accommodating to our schedule and sent wonderful pictures. Will DEFINITELY use again.”

“Tamara had great communication and made me feel at ease since it was my first time using this service. My dog loved her stay, and came home tired and happy! Will definitely book again when I need it. Thank you!”

“Dezmond took fantastic care of our pup! He was very communicative and asked thoughtful questions to ensure he provided the best, safe environment for her. Monse and Dez were patient as she warmed up and got comfortable in their home. She left happy and exhausted from playing with Dez’s pups!”

“Janeth is wonderful! She took such great care of our little one like she was her own. Communication was great all throughout the week and we enjoyed getting regular updates on all the fun she was having! Will definitely rebook with Janeth - highly recommend!”

“Jo’Ell was phenomenal with Harley and tended to her needs and gave her lots of play, social and outside time! I can’t thank Jo’Ell enough for opening her home to Harley while I was out of town! I’ll definitely be booking again! I highly recommend Jo’Ell”

“Maria is the absolute best! We have worked with Maria a few times and she is our favorite resource for boarding. She is outstanding with our 2 dogs. One of my boys is a senior and requires gentle care. Maria goes above and beyond to meet the needs of my boy. She is so communicative and cordial. Truly the gold standard!”

About: Hi, I’m Haley, my dog skipper and I work from home. I have the space and would love to host dogs in our home. Skipper is a huge fan of sleepovers and I love all dogs! I work from home so aside from meetings (occasionally offsite) I’m typically home and have a big yard for dogs to enjoy! I also love to take walks and trip to the park if the dog enjoys it! Any dog in my house becomes a member of the family, they’re allowed to sleep in bed with me or lounge on the furniture. I have a huge fenced in yard for them to roam in and provide frequent walks for exercise.
“Robert was great with my pup Maverick! He was able to watch him last minute for me, and would send me picture updates and let me know how he was doing, eating, and adjusting. Maverick got a lot of play time too and had a great time! I will definitely be using Robert again in the future!”

“Lorraine was awesome, It was like I left Chestnut at home she was very tentative to Chestnut he enjoyed her she sent pictures every day. Lorraine was excellent I had no worries about Chestnut while he was in her care I recommend Lorraine she will take excellent care of your pet. Chestnut can’t wait to visit again”

“John did a great job with our 125lb Bernese Mtn Dog, Georgia. From the pictures we received every day, it was clear Georgia was getting a lot of love and attention. She had a fenced in back yard and a very friendly playmate. We definitely plan to use John again!”

“Gabriela and Richard were so kind and sweet with my toy poodle! They even took her on little adventures to get doggie ice cream and nice walks around the neighborhood, aside from plenty of outside time in their own fenced-in backyard! Gabriela was super great about texting updates and super cute pics of my girl! And they even got her to eat a good bit while I was away even though she usually tries to go on a hunger strike in my absence. Gabriela met us for like 15 mins at the local park before boarding and got to know my dog and garner some info from me, which I really appreciated and not a lot of boarders do that! My girl was very happy when I picked her up and I would absolutely rebook Gabriela and Richard! Highly recommend!”

“Jenny was great! My pup loved her and she was so responsive and provided me with tons of updates which made me feel very comfortable. Can’t recommend her enough!!”

About: I grew up with dogs my entire life, including a German Shepherd, Golden Retriever, and Pitbull mix, so I’m very comfortable with both large and high-energy breeds. I also have experiences with extended stay puppy sitting where I managed feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and creating a calm, structured environment. I understand how important consistency, patience, and attentiveness are, especially with puppies. I’m currently preparing to welcome a Golden Retriever puppy of my own, so I’m very intentional about creating safe, positive experiences for dogs. I work Monday through Friday but my partner is currently home all day, so someone will always be there to care for your dog! We are open to boarding any night. Walks I am primarily available after work or sometimes the morning before. My partner is currently available most anytime! We are both reliable and detail oriented. We are prepping to bring in our very own golden retriever puppy, so will treat your dog as if they are our own! As mentioned above I work Mon-Friday roughy 8-4. My partner is currently home throughout the day so someone will always be there to care for your dog. We are open to boarding almost any day especially weekends where we are both home. Walks and drop ins work best for me before work hours or after but my partner has open availability so between us we can accommodate to you! Feel free to ask if you have any specific availability questions! :) Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I live in a clean, calm, and pet-friendly environment and am very attentive to routines, feeding schedules, and safety during walks and care. I always keep dogs securely leashed on walks, avoid unsafe situations, and closely monitor their behavior and well-being. I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for your dog, and I take that responsibility seriously. I’m reliable, respectful of your home, and committed to providing a safe and positive experience. I’m also happy to send regular photo and video updates so you always feel confident and connected while your dog is in my care.
“Rebecca did an awesome job doing drop in visits for our 3 cats while we were away for a long weekend. We loved getting pics every day and all three were in great spirits when we got home.”

About: Growing up in my parents’ home, we always had cats. They are so independent and clean, and I love that they don’t require as much attention while still being some of the most loving companions. I don’t currently have any cats of my own, but I would absolutely love the opportunity to care for yours! I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I have extensive experience with specialized senior feline care. From 2021 to 2024, I looked after a sweet senior cat named Raja. Following a tumor removal surgery years prior, he had no teeth and required a very careful approach to his daily routine. Though I was told he had outgrown playtime due to his age, I used patience and gentle encouragement to prove that old cats can still love to play. I will bring that same dedicated, observant care to your cat.

“Grace took great care of our two kitties! She went above and beyond - cleaned their litter boxes often, played with them, and gave them love while we were gone. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve always been around cats and have experience with cat sitting different types of cats (disabled, kittens, social, a little spicy, etc.) I love just spending time with cats so any type of drop in, i can do :)

“Edgar was easy to work with and very attentive to my cat. My cat is a senior and I mix meds into her breakfast plate. He was able to accommodate her schedule. I would not hesitate to have him take care of her the next time I need a cat sitter!”

“Estefanía took awesome care of my kitty Moji! She was always on time to the drop-in, sent plenty of photos, and very quickly converted my shy scaredy cat to her usual sweet self. Thanks Estefanía!”

“Natalia was very responsive and nice to work with! She was so caring with our kitties and spent extra time with them by playing and giving pets. She followed directions and asked questions if she had them. She provided photos and videos. Would definitely hire Natalia again!”

“We felt so comfortable leaving our cats in Sarah’s care! She communicated daily with us and sent pictures. The cats enjoyed her visits (even the reluctant one) and came to greet her when they heard the door open only to find it was us returning home! We will definitely use Sarah again.”

“Always super communicative, which helps me feel extra comfortable leaving my kitties in someone else’s care. One of my cats is diabetic and has had a couple of emergencies, so I’m sensitive to knowing he’s ok! Stephanie sends photos at both the morning and evening feeding/insulin shot, putting my heart at ease. Both of my cats and my home feel well-cared for!”

Millie had a great time at her place and left happy - will definitely be comfortable leaving Millie with Michelle and her family again!”

About: I have been caring for dogs since I was young, though never as an official job, mostly for family and friends. I grew up surrounded by animals, including many dogs, cats, and even farm animals. Currently, I have an older Border Collie and a Chihuahua, and they make my days so much better! I love going on daily walks with dogs and playing fetch with them in the backyard. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel loved, happy, and well cared for. I’m currently not working, so I spend a lot of time at home and have plenty of flexibility to care for your dog. I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s usual routine and make sure they feel comfortable and at home. Typically, the first thing I do in the morning is let the dogs outside to go potty, followed by breakfast. I also enjoy going for walks during the morning and again in the afternoon, so your dog can get plenty of exercise, fresh air, and attention throughout the day. i have a fenced yard and 2 trained dogs to keep your baby with company. I have a large crate at home, which I normally only use for my Border Collie during thunderstorms, as it helps him feel safe. However, if you feel that it would be best to separate the dogs at any point, I have the space and can safely accommodate one of them in the crate if needed.
“We had a great experience with them during our stay in Chicago. We had to change our schedule around last minute and they were super accommodating and prompt with responses. Our pup had an amazing time with them. Highly recommend them for your pet care!”

“Dez and wife were great. I felt really good after the initial meet n greet. When I went to drop of Frankie, I felt at ease when Frankie immediately started to pull towards Dezmond's house and happily went with him when I handed him the leash. Frankie has severe separation anxiety, but when we got to Dezmond's Frankie could not care less that I was leaving! It felt good to see how happy and comfortable Frankie was to be there. Dezmond was very communicative and kept me updated throughout the day. Frankie had a great time during his stay, loved playing with Dezmond's dogs and didn't want to leave! He left a tired, happy boy. I would recommend Dezmond and his wife again and also look forward to having Frankie have future visits with them too!”

“Rhae was very responsive, kept me updated during my dogs' stay, my dogs seemed happy! She took the time to walk them a few times while they were there just for the day. Very easy to work with, definitely recommend.”

About: What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I give every pet as if they were my own. My love for animals comes from raising my own dogs, especially my sweet girl, Roxi, whom I was fortunate to have from the time she was a puppy until she crossed the Rainbow Bridge in February 2026 at 15 years old. Caring for her through every stage of life gave me firsthand experience with senior dog care, medication schedules, mobility assistance, and the extra patience, compassion, and love that aging pets deserve. I'm comfortable maintaining feeding routines, administering oral medications, providing potty breaks, and recognizing when a dog's behavior or health seems out of the ordinary. I understand that every dog has a different personality, energy level, and comfort needs, and I adapt my care to make them feel safe, relaxed, and loved. For puppies, I'm happy to reinforce the training and routines you're already working on, including crate training, potty schedules, basic commands, and positive reinforcement. I know consistency is important, and I'll follow your instructions to help keep your puppy on track. You'll also receive regular updates, photos, and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy, comfortable, and in caring hands. My goal is to provide a stress-free experience for both pets and their owners. Pet care fits well into my schedule because I work a hybrid full-time position, which allows me flexibility throughout the week. I carefully manage my calendar and only accept bookings that I know I can fully commit to, ensuring every pet receives the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. Whether it's morning walks, evening visits, overnight stays, or weekend care, I plan my schedule around each pet's needs. I believe reliability and consistency are just as important as love and affection, so I make it a priority to maintain your pet's normal routine as closely as possible. “Macey has done such an outstanding job walking our Sophie this summer. From the first meet & greet, she read Sophie like a book: anticipating when she might bark at another dog, chase a squirrel, or simply watch a rabbit eating grass. And Sophie is a Great Dane mix so she weighs 90 pounds! Macey communicates fully and regularly and has almost always been able to accommodate changes in our schedule. I will simply say that Macey is simply the best and we've already arranged future times we'll need her help. We cannot thank her enough!”

“James has been great. He responded to us right away and came over quickly to meet our dog. Our pup took to him from the very first meeting. James is punctual and attentive, providing us deatiled updates on how the walks go. Whenever we need walks for our little guy, we'll reach out to James right away.”

“John was great! Very reliable, came early the first time to meet a get a feel for Trixie’s behavior before her walk. Always on time and very personable. I would hire him again without hesitation. Thanks, John!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs with very different personalities and needs, including my senior dog Lilo, who I recently cared for through her later years, and my current dog Penny, who is naturally nervous and needs patience, reassurance, and a calm environment. Caring for Lilo taught me how important it is to be attentive to a senior dog’s comfort, routine, energy level, and changing needs. With Penny, I’ve learned how to give a nervous dog space, build trust gradually, and pay attention to subtle changes in behavior and body language. I think what sets me apart is that I don’t believe every dog should be cared for the same way. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, routine, boundaries, and individual needs. I’m patient with shy or nervous dogs, attentive with seniors, and happy to keep energetic dogs active and engaged. I’m also big on communication with pet parents. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, send regular updates and photos, and make sure you feel comfortable knowing your pet is being cared for and loved while you’re away. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pet care. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting depending on my weekly schedule, and I’m able to coordinate bookings in advance so I can give each pet the time and attention they deserve. I provide care in the Bolingbrook and Bellwood areas, and I plan my bookings around where I’m located so I can be reliable and punctual. I’m intentional about not overbooking myself, so when I accept a booking, I can give your pet my full attention and follow their routine closely. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for a pet. I take the time to understand each pet’s routine, temperament, boundaries, and specific care instructions before the booking begins. In a client’s home, I treat their space with the same respect I would want someone to show my own home. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure, keep pets away from anything they shouldn’t access, and leave the home clean and organized. I’m especially mindful of nervous or anxious dogs and create a calm environment where they can become comfortable at their own pace. I never force interaction and always pay attention to a pet’s body language. I’ll follow feeding, walking, medication, and other care instructions exactly as provided, and I’ll communicate with you if I notice anything unusual about your pet. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
“Jessica is wonderful! She has been very patient with our young, energetic (and sometimes poorly behaved) pit bull. She also has been patient with me, my husband, and our frequently changing schedule. Thank you for being so great and dependable!”

“Cheryl did a great job with my pet Summer, she sent daily pictures and updates. I will use her again and recommend her services to anyone looking for a caring and comfortable environment for their pet.”

“Emily was very responsive and kept me up to date on how things were going with lots of pics/videos. It’s our second time booking and feel very confident our dog feels comfortable/safe with her!”

“Ivy had the best time with Mary! She felt right home with the dog toys she has already there, the walks, and getting to look out the window. Mary was communicative and prompt and we will keep Mary on our short list for the future when we need a dog sitter!”

“Amberley was an awesome sitter for our dog. She took him for long walks and texted us pictures every day of him with her dog and cat so we were not at all worried about him. I would absolutely use her again.”
