About: I’ve grown up and taken care of dogs ever since I was little. I would say I’m knowledgeable on dog training and have a lot of experience with all different types of dogs. I love to walk and pet pups so hopefully we can be good match!! I’m currently working part-time in the afternoon (3-6) so I have lots of free time to check in or walk your pet. I have owned Goldens my entire life so training a high-energy dog is something I’m experienced in. About: I am a grad student in education and just moved to Chicago from Detroit, and sadly my lab and kitties had to stay in Michigan due to my living situation. I've taken care of my dogs, and cats my whole life. I love all animals, and have spent time in the state of Michigan being a dog walker for a small local dog walking business. I can be available for the summer Monday-Sunday, Come august 26th, My availability will be MWF and saturday/sunday. Mornings-Evenings I can be available at anytime. I always make sure to see if the owners have any specfic instrutions first and foremost. I will always greet the dog/cat first in calm manner, have them sniff me, say hi, get used to me. Then we get ready for a walk, on walks I'm extremely aware on my surroundings and what could happen or not happen. Water bowls are always full, food at the time the owners said. I make sure to make friends with the animals, and their safety/comfort comes first and foremost. This all will go with cats as well! I tend to be more cautious with the cats so they know i'm there to take care of them.
About: I have raised 2 dogs since puppies until older age. I have experience with older dogs and puppies. Love them all. I have no pets at the moment so any pet I care for will receive lots of love. I pay close attention to their behavior to better understand them, never yelling, always understanding their boundaries. Tamara dropped in to check on our dog while we were out of town for a week. She came to our home twice a day and sometimes 3 to check on our dog. She was amazing and we felt our pet was well cared for while we were gone. Tamara sent us pictures and videos at every visit. We could tell how much she cared for our dog. I highly recommend her and would not hesitate to hire her again.

Lauren was fantastic with our senior golden retriever with mobility issues and who required medication. She visited our home for a meet and greet and again for key drop off. She came to our home three times per day and meticulously cared for our family dog while we were gone for 12 days. Lauren was timely with communications and kept us updated on his care providing pictures and dialogue of his daily events. We would highly recommend Lauren for pet sitting with your pet of any abilities. We will definitely be using Lauren again as a dog sitter in the future!
