About: I recently graduated from Northern Michigan University this past spring with a bachelors degree in Education. Before pursuing my career, I am taking time off to work and spend time with family. I am a lover of all animals, though I have the most experience with cats and dogs of all ages and sizes. Over the past 8 years, I have worked with several families for drop by visits and extended stays while they travel. I have a fur baby of my own, my cat Ringo, who I love very much. About: I have taken care of dogs for most of my life! I had a puppy as a young girl, and cared for her through her old age. Whoever arrives home first is ready to greet the pets, provide potty breaks, meals, playtime, and any attention they need. My job is only about 10 minutes from home, so I have the flexibility to accommodate additional check-ins or special needs when needed, including extended lunch breaks for pets who require extra attention. On weekends, we are home and able to provide extra companionship, backyard time, play, and relaxation. We understand the importance of maintaining a pet’s normal routine and creating a calm environment where they feel safe and cared for while away from their family. We prioritize safety, comfort, and trust for every pet that stays in our home. We live in a 3-story townhome with a fully fenced backyard, providing a secure space for outdoor time. Our finished basement offers a dedicated pet area where pets can have their own quiet space to relax, or have separation when needed. We understand that every pet has different comfort levels and needs. If you would like your pet to have companionship during their stay, we can arrange a slow and supervised introduction with our pets to make sure everyone is comfortable. If your pet prefers their own space, we can keep pets completely separated for the entirety of their stay. Our own pets will have access to the upstairs third level of our home, allowing us to create a safe and comfortable environment for everyone. Our home already includes two small dogs and a cat, so we have experience managing pets with different personalities, routines, and boundaries.

Walks and drop ins work best for me before work hours or after but my partner has open availability so between us we can accommodate to you!
