About: I'm a teacher who is on summer break and I will have a lot of time to care for your pet! I have had dogs my entire life. I have experience training puppies and caring for senior dogs. I adopted my first dog when I was 15 years old and she my my companion for 15 years. I eventually adopted a senior dog named Angus and he was my companion for 5 1/2 years. They were both amazing dogs who helped me learn a lot about animal care. I hope to spend my time this summer hanging out with and caring for your pet! I will be available after June 3 every day of the week. I do not work during the summer regularly, so I have a lot of time to spend with your pet! I will be unavailable from 9:00am-11:00am Monday-Thursday during the month of June while I teach virtually. I will also be unavailable from July 27-August 5. I currently have no pets, so my home could be your pet's home away from home! I have a fenced in yard that is very secure. I would love to take your dog on walks in my quiet neighborhood. Also, there is a nearby forest preserve that your dog would love to visit.

About: Our house is full of activity! We have two teens, 10 year old, a one year old beagle lab mix and 7 year old shih tzu. We love to have doggie play dates for our pup and take walks.. Currently my new work schedule allows me to be home after the kids are out of school. We are open to dog sitting and boarding and depending on location, I am open to dropping in For short dog walks. Our family has grown to love having dogs around and enjoy including our dogs in our routine. My husband and kids are all active in helping care for our dogs which makes it for a smooth transition no matter who is home. Texting is the preferred method for booking/inquiring.

About: I LOVE puppies, especially cute ones... I have lived with dogs for my entire life. Everything from labs, adopted mutts, terriers, poodles, goldendoodles, big, medium, and small. I have yet to meet a breed that I can't whisper to. While my profile on Rover is new, I have been sitting and housesitting dogs on the side for years, for neighbors in the area and a small network of family friends I've kept up since I began my undergrad at UIC. I also love running. If you have an active dog that needs extra exercise, I'd be happy to take them along. Just let me know. Please note: To ensure the absolute best and safest care for your pup, I do require a quick Meet & Greet before accepting any first-time bookings Looking forward to hearing from you. I am currently in summer school at UIC, and will be in class from 8am to noon on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, so your dog would be alone for about 4 hours on those days. Before I leave, they will get a good walk, and when I'm back they'll spend the rest of the day with me doing homework, tutoring, or getting outside for a walk or run. I always treat every dog like my own. I make sure they are secure, comfortable, get all the pets and treats they need, and are never alone longer than necessary. You will also receive daily updates along the way, so you'll always know how they're doing.

About: I’ve grown up and taken care of dogs ever since I was little. I would say I’m knowledgeable on dog training and have a lot of experience with all different types of dogs. I love to walk and pet pups so hopefully we can be good match!! I’m currently working part-time in the afternoon (3-6) so I have lots of free time to check in or walk your pet. I have owned Goldens my entire life so training a high-energy dog is something I’m experienced in. I’m all about creating a safe and enriching environment for dogs, so I’m open to adapting to your pets daily routine.

About: I’ve had my oldest baby for 10 years now. I love anything animal related! I have 1 dog and two cats currently in my home in Westchester and two more fur babies my parents adopted at home in North Carolina! I’ve been pet sitting for the last 5 years as a side hobby from my dental assisting job. I’ve been a dental assistant for 3 years now and i love it. I am experienced in giving pills to cats and dogs, I’ve volunteered at multiple shelters and veterinary clinics so I know how to handle all sorts of conditions or concerns you might be having with your fur baby. With my pets at home I LOVE using my cats favorite laser pointer. About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for both cats and large dogs. I've been a pet owner myself for a little over a year now, but I've helped raise and entertain my siblings' dogs since they were puppies. Some of my proudest pet-parent moments include teaching my cat to sit and teaching my sister's German Shepherd puppy to roll over! I love spending time with animals and was even voted "Most Likely to Have 10 Dogs and Cats" in my sorority. About: My family has rescued animals my whole life, and I have worked with all kinds of animals professionally since my very first job at a dog groomer. Since then, I've spent most of my time working at emergency animal vets, with foster dogs, and at doggie daycare! I love working with all species of animals and will treat yours just like my own! I'm here to make sure your pets feel happy, loved, and safe while you're away. I currently have a pretty open schedule and am looking to care for pets full time. I can easily do late nights and early mornings! When I stay in your home, I stick closely to your pet's normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure. I'll make sure they're fed on time, exercised, and getting lots of attention (and cuddles if they want them!) I pay close attention to each pet's needs and act accordingly. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 7 years old. I’ve raised many puppies and taken care of them into their senior days. A safety gate blocking the stairs to the basement so no little doggies that might have trouble slipping on stairs can get to them or the basement. A dogs safety is always my utmost priority.

Many of those animals were sick or injured, so I have a particular capability and fondness for caring for senior animals or pets with special needs. Generally, my weekly availability is: From 6:00 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Before 8 a.m. and after 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday-Friday. Depending on what you ask me to do, I'm happy to take your pet on walks of your preferred length/level of intensity, drop by to provide food, water, games, cuddles, and company, and administer medication. About: I grew up with dogs my entire life, including a German Shepherd, Golden Retriever, and Pitbull mix, so I’m very comfortable with both large and high-energy breeds. I also have experiences with extended stay puppy sitting where I managed feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and creating a calm, structured environment. I understand how important consistency, patience, and attentiveness are, especially with puppies. I’m currently preparing to welcome a Golden Retriever puppy of my own, so I’m very intentional about creating safe, positive experiences for dogs. I work Monday through Friday but my partner is currently home all day, so someone will always be there to care for your dog! We are open to boarding any night. Walks I am primarily available after work or sometimes the morning before. My partner is currently available most anytime! We are both reliable and detail oriented. We are prepping to bring in our very own golden retriever puppy, so will treat your dog as if they are our own! As mentioned above I work Mon-Friday roughy 8-4. My partner is currently home throughout the day so someone will always be there to care for your dog. We are open to boarding almost any day especially weekends where we are both home. Walks and drop ins work best for me before work hours or after but my partner has open availability so between us we can accommodate to you! I live in a clean, calm, and pet-friendly environment and am very attentive to routines, feeding schedules, and safety during walks and care. I always keep dogs securely leashed on walks, avoid unsafe situations, and closely monitor their behavior and well-being. I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for your dog, and I take that responsibility seriously. I’m reliable, respectful of your home, and committed to providing a safe and positive experience. I’m also happy to send regular photo and video updates so you always feel confident and connected while your dog is in my care.

About: I’ve often been told I’m a bit of a “dog whisperer” because pups seem to gravitate toward me, and I think it’s because they can sense my genuine love for animals. I’ve been a dog lover since childhood, growing up with 4 family dogs, and that passion has only grown over the years. I recently cared for my own senior pomeranian, who lived to 18, so I understand the patience, gentleness, and extra attention that senior pups need. On the other end of the spectrum, I know the energy and consistency it takes to care for playful puppies. Right now, I share my home with two spoiled rescue dogs, Chico (chihuahua) and Squeaks (tripod Pomeranian) who remind me daily how much joy and comfort pets bring into our lives and family. I have taught my dogs how to sit, stay, down, shake, come, and spin. So maybe I can even teach your dog some new tricks :) I also know how stressful it can be to leave your furry family member at home. My goal is to be their bright spot while you’re away, whether that’s a walk, a potty break, or simply some kisses, belly rubs, and companionship. I’ll treat your dog like one of my own! I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule to fit in drop-ins, potty breaks, quick walks (10-15) min, kisses and belly rubs during the day while you are away! Right now I only offer drop-ins, potty breaks, and quick walks for your furry babies. I do not offer any home services at my personal residence. If any service is requested outside of the normal services offered, I would be happy to help and discuss prior to my drop-in visit.

About: I’ve had big dogs and cats my whole life, I’ve been around all kinds of animals. I’m wanting to get out and active with furry friends and make sure they are taken care of🩵 I’m currently working minimal days so I have plenty of time to take your pets on walks or check on them. And most importantly love on them and make sure they are safe and cared for.
