Dog Sitting in Elmhurst

About: I have had dogs all my life! I currently have a mini golden doodle and my childhood dog was a Dalmatian! I have taught my dog, Sunny, countless tricks and love to take her on walks! I am currently a part-time nanny and would love the opportunity to take some dogs on walks! I have availability most days of the week, especially in the afternoon. I have a fenced in backyard and a friendly golden doodle who would love an occasional play date. I will always ensure the safety of my clients pets whether it is in my home or theirs.

About: I have taken care of family members and friends pets for years! I am responsible and reliable and have experience taking care of elderly pets as well. I work 9-5 Monday through Friday in office, so I have availability any mornings before 9am, or any week night evenings & all day on weekends! I would prefer to care for pets in clients homes, but can take them to mine if necessary. I love to take dogs for long walks & am very open to any activity levels you pet requires.

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for both cats and large dogs. I've been a pet owner myself for a little over a year now, but I've helped raise and entertain my siblings' dogs since they were puppies. About: I treat every dog as if they were my own child. I have successfully trained multiple dogs, including two boxers and a black lab, starting from when they were just 8 weeks old. Additionally, I have experience handling and walking excitable dogs that are similar in size to myself. As I am currently taking online courses and on a break from nursing school, pet sitting fits seamlessly into my schedule. It allows me to enjoy the outdoors while providing a valuable service to pet owners who need their dogs walked regularly. When caring for the dogs, weather permitting, they have access to a half-acre backyard with partial fencing. I utilize a 360-degree swivel and tie-out stake when I'm not outdoors with them. Inside, they have water bowls and food, and they enjoy free roam of the first floor of the house. They are always kept well-hydrated, and many of the pups enjoy finding shade under the trees and bushes after a long day of play. During snow season, dogs will be kept indoors, with the exception of bathroom breaks and exercise

I’m also available for regular drop-in visits for dogs that just need standard, reliable care! Pet care fits easily into my routine since I work part-time and set my own schedule. I’m very flexible and can adjust my availability to match what works best for you and your pet. I provide drop-in visits where I come to your home to care for your pet. This includes feeding, letting them outside, and making sure they get attention, or walks depending on their needs. I always follow your instructions closely to keep your pet comfortable and their routine consistent while you’re away.

About: I have been surrounded by dogs my entire life, and I have made truly unbreakable bonds with them. I'm a natural caretaker and have been walking neighbors' dogs since I was 12. As a recent high school grad, I have begun dog sitting both at my home and at clients' homes. I have worked with dogs of all ages and have loved every second of it! I'm currently working side jobs such as babysitting, part-time nannying, and dog sitting. I can be fairly flexible when it comes to my weekly schedule. I live with two pups and two cats in a very walkable neighborhood. I am incredibly safety-oriented and would be more than willing to make accommodations for any pet's needs.

About: Growing up I experienced the kindness, loyalty, and special bonds that animals never fail to offer. These positive experiences have influenced my love for them. Currently, my family has a lazy black Labrador, Shadow and a precious Finnish Lapphund mix named Munchy. We also have our calico Rascal. I grew up taking care of the various cats and dogs in our neighborhood. This job was never a chore and was the best way to spend more time with animals! I’m currently a full time student at Rush. I have Thursdays and Fridays free and the weekends as well. I can make other days work as well if needed. Just would be in the morning or afternoon. I will not be able to care for pets in my apartment. I can take care of animals in their homes! I’m used to this style of care.

About: Being a bunny owner, I take a very patient approach towards each animal I am caring for. I prefer to know their habits and quirks before I begin our journey of knowing each other. I pay very close attention to each animals body language and move forwards based on that. Growing up I was extremely obsessed with my families dogs and cats. My first pet was a grey cockatiel bird that I rescued, shortly after I got my first yellow lab. Ever since, I have been very involved in taking care of many of my family or friends pets while they are away. I have taken care of extremely small puppies, fish, birds, bunnies, and cats, to nervous, and anxious big labs ! I heavily enjoy spending time next to a furry creature and I even have a bunny of my own named Diva. She has been a very long lesson in attention to attitude when it comes to handling an animal. I am more than available during the day or night to take care of any animal, I do not have a current job so I am free during awkward hours. I make sure to follow the directions my clients have left for me, I often ask more information on the personality of the animal so I understand our boundaries !

About: I've been a Dog Groomer now for 18 years (in-home business owner/Grooming School Graduate 2008) with extensive experience in all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, including anxious and energetic pups. Additionally I have high experience in Petcare, Nutrition, CPR Certified, behavioral and working with dogs from all walks of life. I've taking care of pets with medical needs from administrating injections, oral meds, routine therapy on special needs dogs/cats (per owner/therapist instructions), providing companionship, cooking nutritional food and taking pets for walks. I have repeating clients and some from local foster rescues I work within Elmhurst and Chicago (references upon request). I live with my husband and twin daughters (6 yr old) trained to be around dogs and currently no pets (pup passed 4 years ago). I'm open to help and watch your pup/cat for your needs. I am currently working from home remotely in the medical field with a very flexible schedule and love walks in the mornings, afternoons and nights as we do this everyday with our twin girls. During dog sits I walk pups on an average of 3-5 times a day. I take the utmost care for your fur baby! Huge fenced in yard for pups to roam, run and Play! Doggy Park kiddie corner from my home in Elmhurst (see pics). Pups are taken outside several times a day for lots of outside time depending on weather. They are never left alone in the fenced in yard and twin daughters age 6 highly trained to be around animals and know their distance however if allowed love to play as well. Please make sure to have your pets up to date on shots and flea and tick prevention. Especially since the bigger dogs are free to roam the fenced in yard. You can feel confident that the safety and environment while here in my home will be taken. Remember to always include a paper bio as well as all important information for your pet. Pets are allowed on all furniture and can freely enjoy my open concept within my home with a nice bay window for sun and outdoor view. I only take in one pet per day unless you have multiples from the same household for safety reason I like to only take one family at a time. Pets allowed to roam the home at all times 24/7, however please note any damage to blinds, furniture will be at your cost. We try to watch them super closely to avoid home furniture damages, but we do understand some pups have anxiety or are still in training. Please make sure to advise if your pup/puppies are in a stage of chewing/biting furniture or any habits that may need extra attention. Ty
