About: I love dogs and came across this site and thought how it would be nice to have guests in my home. I have a decent sized back yard and there is a walking trail I could walk a pup or two along. I would do my best to keep your dog comfortable in my home. I have four kids in my home that have so much love for animals. Hope to hear from you soon! There are pets in the home but I do not keep in the same spaces at any time regardless if friendly or not. It’s more for the comfort of a new space for your pet and for yours as an owner. I do work a lot. However Thursday thru Sunday’s I am home full time during the day. Monday thru weds I work regular business hours and also have a crew at home willing to live up and care for our guest. We would regulate one room to your pet but it’s with us. Our family room where your pet will never be alone. Always someone watching tv, relaxing, or even sleeping in.
About: I treat every dog as if they were my own child. I have successfully trained multiple dogs, including two boxers and a black lab, starting from when they were just 8 weeks old. Additionally, I have experience handling and walking excitable dogs that are similar in size to myself. About: Let me meet your pup! I’m a huge human and pet lover. I help people by day working as a CT Tech at Loyola University Medical Center. Now I am looking to help animals by night (and get my dog fix in of course). My boyfriend and I recently moved to Elmhurst and do not have any kids or pets of our own, so I am very flexible and open to walks, drop ins, or extended dog sitting. I’m a very responsible and educated dog owner. My family dog, Baylor, is actually diabetic and requires lots of special care so I have learned a lot! :) I am currently a full time Lead CT Technologist working Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm. However, I am home by 4pm every day. I am free in the evenings and all day on Saturday and Sunday. I recently moved to Elmhurst and do not have any pets or children of my own, but someday I hope to have many. About: I have loved animals since childhood, and when I was a child I had a cat. I also lived with my boyfriend's family for a year, they had a dog and I took care of Him. Now periodically my friends leave their dogs with me when they go on a trip or on a business trip. I love this expression: "Dogs talk, but only to those who can listen." I work online so I have a lot of time to play and take care of your dogs. The second part of the day is more freely , but I have a flexible schedule and can combine work and pet care. I have a large one-room apartment with plenty of space for a dog. Near the house there is a large area outside for walking, a few minutes away there is a large park with a lake. I walk the dog several times a day, feed it on schedule, and play with the cats' and dogs' favorite toys.

About: I have been caring for dogs since I was young, though never as an official job, mostly for family and friends. I grew up surrounded by animals, including many dogs, cats, and even farm animals. Currently, I have an older Border Collie and a Chihuahua, and they make my days so much better! I love going on daily walks with dogs and playing fetch with them in the backyard. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel loved, happy, and well cared for. I’m currently not working, so I spend a lot of time at home and have plenty of flexibility to care for your dog. I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s usual routine and make sure they feel comfortable and at home. Typically, the first thing I do in the morning is let the dogs outside to go potty, followed by breakfast. I also enjoy going for walks during the morning and again in the afternoon, so your dog can get plenty of exercise, fresh air, and attention throughout the day. i have a fenced yard and 2 trained dogs to keep your baby with company. I have a large crate at home, which I normally only use for my Border Collie during thunderstorms, as it helps him feel safe. However, if you feel that it would be best to separate the dogs at any point, I have the space and can safely accommodate one of them in the crate if needed.

About: Being a bunny owner, I take a very patient approach towards each animal I am caring for. I prefer to know their habits and quirks before I begin our journey of knowing each other. I pay very close attention to each animals body language and move forwards based on that. Growing up I was extremely obsessed with my families dogs and cats. My first pet was a grey cockatiel bird that I rescued, shortly after I got my first yellow lab. Ever since, I have been very involved in taking care of many of my family or friends pets while they are away. I have taken care of extremely small puppies, fish, birds, bunnies, and cats, to nervous, and anxious big labs ! I heavily enjoy spending time next to a furry creature and I even have a bunny of my own named Diva. She has been a very long lesson in attention to attitude when it comes to handling an animal. I am more than available during the day or night to take care of any animal, I do not have a current job so I am free during awkward hours. I make sure to follow the directions my clients have left for me, I often ask more information on the personality of the animal so I understand our boundaries !

About: We’re a dog-loving couple who genuinely enjoy having dogs around, and we’d love to welcome your pup into our home! We have a friendly, easygoing Golden Retriever/ Australian Shepherd of our own who loves having company, so boarding with us is a win-win: your dog gets a loving home and a built-in furry friend, while our dog gets a buddy to hang out with. 🐾 We both work from home, so your pup will have plenty of company throughout the day rather than being left home alone for long periods. Our home also has a doggie door leading to a fully fenced yard, giving dogs the freedom to go outside and come back in as they please while we’re home to keep an eye on things. Our own dog is incredibly easygoing and low-maintenance, and over the years we realized how expensive boarding can be - even for dogs who are happy, friendly, and super easy to care for. That’s what inspired us to become Rover sitters! We want to offer an option for owners of dogs who don’t need a ton of special attention but still deserve to be loved and cared for while their humans are away. If you have an easygoing dog, we think it’s fair that you don’t have a pay a premium to have someone watch them! We’re especially happy to care for friendly, relaxed, and low-maintenance dogs who enjoy hanging out with another dog. Our goal isn’t to run a high-volume boarding business. We simply love dogs and enjoy having them in our home. Our schedules allow us to provide regular supervision, playtime, and outdoor breaks throughout the day ❤️ We only accept boarding dates when we know we’ll be available to care for your pup. If something unexpected comes up that requires us to be away for an extended period, we’ll communicate clearly with you ahead of time. 🐾 Your dog will have plenty of room to relax and explore in our fully fenced yard, giving them the freedom to enjoy some outdoor time in a safe, enclosed space. We have a doggie door built into our storm door that the dogs are welcome to use throughout the day, so they can go in and out as they please. We can also close the doggie door when the weather isn’t suitable. Fresh water is always available, with water bowls kept filled throughout the day. 🐾 Our home is also shared with our very friendly 60-pound, 3-year-old Golden Aussie, who absolutely loves meeting new dogs and having new friends to play with! We’ll make sure introductions are comfortable and that all dogs have a safe, relaxed environment during their stay. ❤️
“Gabriela and Richard were so kind and sweet with my toy poodle! They even took her on little adventures to get doggie ice cream and nice walks around the neighborhood, aside from plenty of outside time in their own fenced-in backyard! Gabriela was super great about texting updates and super cute pics of my girl! And they even got her to eat a good bit while I was away even though she usually tries to go on a hunger strike in my absence. Gabriela met us for like 15 mins at the local park before boarding and got to know my dog and garner some info from me, which I really appreciated and not a lot of boarders do that! My girl was very happy when I picked her up and I would absolutely rebook Gabriela and Richard! Highly recommend!”
