Kristin Y.
About: I’ve always been around pets growing up. I had a pet bunny, tons of fishes, share two dogs with my family and currently have two kittens of my own. I’ve been caring for pets ever since I was 15. I’ve watched parrots, cats and dogs. I have experience with both kittens and puppies and will provide constant updates as I love taking picture and videos. I work from home full time and have a mostly flexible schedule. I’m usually home all the time during the work week and can step out for drop in visits. I live in an apartment complex and can keep the kittens in a separate area if needed. The pet may roam the living room/kitchen area where I spend most of my day and I’m able to take them around the neighborhood nearby for walks. I try to be courteous, clean, and respectful of clients homes for drop in visits. I have administered medicine to my own pets but will love to learn how you administer medicine to yours.

John S.

About: Hello! Thanks for taking the time to consider me for services. A bit about me! I'm John and I have 3 cats and 1 two year old German Shepherd. I previously worked for a well known pet day care center and my duties there included watching up to 25 either large or small breed dogs during their play time, deep cleaning kennels, feeding with special dietary restrictions and lots of petting of course. *My cats are kept in separate rooms from other animals with no access to your pets and will not be a factor* Personally, I have attended group training sessions from numerous facilities with my dog for about 1 1/2 years. I am currently studying for my CCPDT certification on dog training. Now a bit about my pets! My German Shepherd is 92 lbs and was potty, and crate trained by me. He was heavily socialized as a puppy from 8 weeks old and has spent time at daycares for play dates and we love dog parks! He loves all people and dogs and is very gentle. For my cats, Two are 9 years old (litter mates) and we found the other on the street as a kitten and is now currently 3 years old. All of my animals are up to date with all vaccinations. Thank you very much again for taking the time to check me out. I'm currently available fulltime day/night 100% supervision for care or any other services that would be required and have no other required engagements outside of rover. For boarding: I have a big newly built back yard fence that is 100% supervised when in use. Adjustable crate depending on dog size if crating is requested. Long/short walks around the block or quick/easy access to forest preserve walks or small dog parks if needed. Food/Water bowls are available as well as extra collars/leashes. I also have plenty of beds and toys! For client visits: I am able to accommodate any reasonable request, go on walks, feedings, medicines, dog park visits, playtime etc.

Daniel F.
“I have had the pleasure of having my dog taken care of by my neighbor on multiple occasions, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Their commitment to providing top-notch care for my furry friend is truly commendable. From the very beginning, it was clear that my neighbor possesses a genuine love for dogs. Their interactions with my pet were always warm, friendly, and full of enthusiasm. It's not just about walking the dogs; it's evident that they genuinely enjoy spending time with them, ensuring not only physical exercise but also emotional well-being. One of the standout qualities of my neighbor as a dog caregiver is their reliability. They have always been punctual and consistent in their commitments. Whenever I needed their assistance, they were readily available and willing to accommodate my schedule. It's a great relief to know that I can count on them, especially during those busy days when my dog's exercise routine is crucial. Safety is another aspect where my neighbor shines. They are diligent in ensuring that the dogs are well-controlled and secure during walks. Their understanding of different breeds and temperaments allows them to tailor the walks to suit each dog's needs, whether it's a brisk jog or a leisurely stroll. Moreover, their previous experience in caring for my dog speaks volumes about their capabilities. Their attention to detail and responsiveness to my dog's quirks and preferences truly set them apart. My dog never fails to return from a walk with a wagging tail and a contented demeanor. In sum, I wholeheartedly recommend my neighbor for the position of a dog walker. Their passion for dogs, reliability, and exceptional caregiving skills make them an ideal candidate for the role. I have complete confidence that they will bring the same level of dedication and care to every dog they have the privilege to walk.”

Collette W.

Natalia L.
“Natalia is a wonderful and caring pet sitter. She has taken care of my two dogs since I've had them. Shes very responsible and attentive. My dogs love going to her home to the point where they start getting excited as soon as they recognize her street. I travel frequently because of my job and shes the only sitter i would ever leave my dogs with. Its great knowing that when i am gone they are receiving the best care and love possible. Natalia is always quick to answer and always sends me pictures of them which is something i love to see! If you are looking for a great and reliable sitter, Natalia is your answer!!”

Braidy M.

About: I grew up with a dog, and haven't had the time to commit to a new little fluff ball since he had to be put down when he and I were both 17 years old . More recently, I was the dog walker/ caretaker for a family with two dogs when the family I nannied for was away. Neighbors and friends know to ask me to watch their furrier family members when they are going out of town. I love getting outside in sunny weather to walk and run. I work remotely (from my home or yours as long as there’s a solid internet connection). I would love to meet you and your canine companion... reach out so we can meet up and get to know each other's expectations and personalities! I work from home, so getting out for potty breaks and is not a problem. We can go out for longer walks before and after work. My yard is unfortunately not fenced in, so if you are boarding at my house we will need to go on walks with a leash. I also offer house sitting if you prefer I come to you.

Sarah W.

“Sarah went above and beyond for our 1 year old Rottweiler!! We needed someone for two days and she was so very accommodating and we really appreciate someone we can trust to love on our pup while we’re gone :)”

Denise D.
“Denise has been an animal lover since she was a little girl. She has had both cats and dogs her entire life. After losing her beloved boxer Louie in January 2023, she has continued to care for animals by volunteering at her local Humane Society. She values the care she gives to the animals she’s looking after above all else, often scheduling her day around the animal’s needs. Any animal she looks after as a part of Rover would be lucky to have someone like Denise looking after them, it will not only enrich the pet’s life but it will surely enrich Denise’s life as well.”

Kaitlyn T.

“Kaitlyn was great! She came four times a day and took great care of our Frenchies! She took pictures and gave us updates from every visit. It was so nice to go out of town and know Cooper and Maddon were being well taken care of.”

Lucy C.
“Lucy is a caring and loving pet owner. Lucy walks her dog and exercises her dog regularly and provides the special nutrition and medical attention pets need. We have taken many a birding trip and camping trip together with our dogs. Always Lucy attends to the needs of her pet in a timely and compassionate manner. I recommend and endorse her as a Rover Sitter.”

Jessi M.

“Jessi had watched my dog on numerous occasions and would send daily pictures and updates on how she was doing! She would always go an extra step by brushing out her thick fur and making sure to get her the daily exercise she needed! She’s a great sitter and I will always go to her for my fur baby!”

Ashley B.

“Ashley was absolutely the best with our dogs! Always on schedule with great communication & pictures. We felt the dogs were very safe & loved in her care. We highly recommend Ashley!”
