About: We’re a dog-loving couple who genuinely enjoy having dogs around, and we’d love to welcome your pup into our home! We have a friendly, easygoing Golden Retriever/ Australian Shepherd of our own who loves having company, so boarding with us is a win-win: your dog gets a loving home and a built-in furry friend, while our dog gets a buddy to hang out with. 🐾 We both work from home, so your pup will have plenty of company throughout the day rather than being left home alone for long periods. Our home also has a doggie door leading to a fully fenced yard, giving dogs the freedom to go outside and come back in as they please while we’re home to keep an eye on things. Our own dog is incredibly easygoing and low-maintenance, and over the years we realized how expensive boarding can be - even for dogs who are happy, friendly, and super easy to care for. That’s what inspired us to become Rover sitters! We want to offer an option for owners of dogs who don’t need a ton of special attention but still deserve to be loved and cared for while their humans are away. If you have an easygoing dog, we think it’s fair that you don’t have a pay a premium to have someone watch them! We’re especially happy to care for friendly, relaxed, and low-maintenance dogs who enjoy hanging out with another dog. Our goal isn’t to run a high-volume boarding business. Our schedules allow us to provide regular supervision, playtime, and outdoor breaks throughout the day ❤️ We only accept boarding dates when we know we’ll be available to care for your pup. If something unexpected comes up that requires us to be away for an extended period, we’ll communicate clearly with you ahead of time. 🐾 Your dog will have plenty of room to relax and explore in our fully fenced yard, giving them the freedom to enjoy some outdoor time in a safe, enclosed space. We have a doggie door built into our storm door that the dogs are welcome to use throughout the day, so they can go in and out as they please. We can also close the doggie door when the weather isn’t suitable. Fresh water is always available, with water bowls kept filled throughout the day. 🐾 Our home is also shared with our very friendly 60-pound, 3-year-old Golden Aussie, who absolutely loves meeting new dogs and having new friends to play with! We’ll make sure introductions are comfortable and that all dogs have a safe, relaxed environment during their stay. ❤️

I have been a dog owner since I was in 4th grade but animals have always been a great passion to me. I currently have a Chihuahua and Shih Tzu of my own. I have helped with dogs from birthing of puppies to caring of senior dogs. I have more experience with small dogs and other small animals but I love to work with larger dogs as well. I am a big believer of proper animal care. An animals well being is the greatest concern I have while watching it. Animals are family, they deserve the best care we can provide. I am always open for constructive criticism, and welcome you to address any issues you may have. I work a full-time job Monday through Fridays 8:45 to 6. But after work I am able to give your companions my full attention. I do step away at times on weekends to complete some of my life tasks but I do not stay away for long. I am a big believer of attending to a pets needs to the way they require. I prefer sitting pets at their homes to stress them out the least possible and keep part of their routine. But I am also very accommodating and can make my home feel welcoming.

Blue had the BEST time with Mary! This was Blue’s first time away from us over night with someone who is not our family. With that being said, Blue stayed with Mary for multiple nights, and was her happy playful self! She normally likes to food strike when she is away from us, but she ate all of her meals like a champ while with Mary. She also cuddled with her and got so many great walks!

We had such a wonderful experience with Erica! Our pug can be very nervous and anxious, so leaving her with someone new was something we were a little worried about. Erica was incredibly patient, caring, and understanding from the very beginning. She took the time to make our pug feel comfortable, gave her lots of love and attention, and treated her like she was her own. Knowing that our little fur baby was safe, happy, and well cared for gave us such peace of mind while we were away. When we came back, our pug was comfortable and happy, and that meant everything to us. We truly appreciate the love, patience, and care Erica gave her. Natalie has watched my pets multiple times and I will continue to use her services. She always goes above and beyond by letting me visit the home ahead of time and she answered all my questions I had. She always sends me updates to let me know how my dog and cat were doing. My pets are very scared of most people, but took really easily to Natalie and her techniques to help combat their anxiety. I had to stay later for work and she was more than happy to help me out in a pinch. My pets are always so happy to go over to Natalies house now and will continue to bring them back! Her house was also very clean and she had things like a litter box, automatic feeders to help make the process easier for me. The house also has a great sized yard for dogs and is kept clean! We just had our dog Frida stay with Iris for 6 days and could not be happier with the absolute best care Frida received. We are first timers with Rover and were a bit hesitant doing a service. Frida is an 8lb little dog and wanted someone who does one dog/family at a time and this is what Iris does. We were so happy to find this with Iris.
