When you’re away from home, I can keep your pet company, play with them, give them plenty of affection, take them for walks, and keep their routine as close as possible to what they are used to at home. I also offer daycare in my home and overnight care, depending on each pet’s needs. I want them to feel comfortable, safe, and cared for, just as they would at home, while their families are away. In my home, pets are part of the family. I have a large, fully fenced and secure yard with a small grassy area where they can go outside, play, and enjoy some fresh air. Inside the home, they have a comfortable and safe environment where they can relax and spend time with the family. I want pets to feel at home and be part of our family life, so I do not use crates as part of their daily routine. They are free to move around the safe areas of the house and yard, always taking into consideration their personality, needs, and their owner’s instructions. I have a one and a half year old Yorkie who is part of our family and is used to enjoying the house and yard freely. Of course, whenever I care for another pet, I respect their boundaries, energy level, and any special instructions provided by their family. If I care for your pet in your home, I maintain their usual routine and carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding, walks, playtime, rest, and any other needs. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, accompanied, loved, and at home while you are away.

About: I love all types of dogs! I grew up always having a dog in the family, and also have been caring for friends' and neighbors' dogs since childhood. I have experience handling larger dogs, and caring for senior dogs. I have a flexible schedule and am able to work around caring for your dog as needed. My husband also works from home full time, so one of us will always be around to provide love and care. I have a fenced in backyard and two senior dogs who love to have visitors. They get along easily with most dogs, but we'd want to do a meet and greet to ensure everyone gets along well!

Blue had the BEST time with Mary! This was Blue’s first time away from us over night with someone who is not our family. With that being said, Blue stayed with Mary for multiple nights, and was her happy playful self! Robert and his family took excellent care of Spruce while we were away on an extended trip for nearly two weeks. Our pup is a one year old with a lot of energy for playing and had such a blast playing endless fetch in their fenced yard and with the dogs who would come by for in-home daycare. We got absolutely regular updates (with absolutely incredible action shots!) while we were traveling and it was clear to see Spruce was having a wonderful time and was being well cared for, and that knowledge and peace of mind is such a gift especially when we were thousands of miles away.
