About: I recently graduated from Northern Michigan University this past spring with a bachelors degree in Education. Before pursuing my career, I am taking time off to work and spend time with family. I am a lover of all animals, though I have the most experience with cats and dogs of all ages and sizes. Over the past 8 years, I have worked with several families for drop by visits and extended stays while they travel. I have a fur baby of my own, my cat Ringo, who I love very much. About: I absolutely love animals, which is why I’ve been taking care of family, friend, and neighborhood pets since I was 12 (my family has also always had cats!). I am reliable and have been trusted to consistently and properly tend to pets, whether it’s walking, feeding, overnight and in-house care, or anything in between. I have experience with elderly animals, as well as puppies and kittens. I am more than happy to provide updates about your pet during their care, and will always reach out with concerns or questions should they come up to ensure they’re being taken care of in the way that’s best for them. About: I have had a dog since 2010, unfortunately he passed away a few years ago. I love every dog I meet and thoroughly enjoy getting to know their individual personalities. Dogs make me incredibly happy, and I like to think I make them happy as well! I am available any day of the week for your dogs needs. I have the summer off from work, so I am able to look after them 24/7 if needed. I can easily crate any dog if needed. I love hanging out and playing with dogs and making sure they’re in a safe environment. There’s a lot of walking trails near where I live which are amazing for walks. There’s also a dog park right in my community.

My dog (Akita) passed away a few years ago, he lived 14 long and incredible years and survived two cancers. I recently lost my cat of 16 years as well, she unfortunately had kidney failure and thyroid disease. I miss them every day. I currently have two rescued cats that mean the world to me. About: I feel strongly about the human animal-bond and I believe your pets deserve the best care possible! My experience goes back to childhood since I've had cats and dogs my whole life. I've watched neighbors' and friends' pets while they were out of town and even watched a friend's horses while she was on vacation. I walked dogs at Anderson Animal Shelter (now Anderson Humane) as a kid. I worked for a pet sitting company for a little over a year in 2020. That year I also began school to become a certified veterinary technician. After two years taking classes full time and completing two externships I became a CVT. My schooling did include kennels- aka walking, cleaning up after and caring for the rescued dogs and cats we learned on (they were adopted out at the end of each semester). I also have helped with pets who were boarding at veterinary offices. I can do medical treatments on your fur baby if necessary. I am open to watching exotic pets. I have a huge admiration for spicy cats. I am your person for house sitting and drop in visits. I will be using Rover for part time work but I do have flexible availability! I have stepped away from full time work all together for the foreseeable future. I am a morning person and I would love to spend some time outside with your pup whatever the weather may be. I enjoy walking outside even in zero degree weather! I am happy to accommodate any routine you need for your fur babies. Greeting your pet is important, especially if I am new to them. I will give them food and water and clean dishes as advised by you. I will take them for a walk or outside to play and go potty depending on what they are up for. If you need pills or treatments or any kind to be administered I can absolutely do that. I will treat your pet, your home and belongings with the utmost respect and responsibility.
