About: As someone who has always grown up around dogs, I understand that your pup is a part of the family and I take pride in taking care of your furry loved ones while you’re away! I currently have a German shepherd/Boxer mix (lives with my family) and a Rottweiler (lives with me). I have previously volunteered at a humane society and have also been employed at a dog boarding facility. I enjoy watching Dog Impossible in my free time and would love to spend time with your 4-legged family member in my free time too! I’m also an animal and nature photographer, so I’d be happy to take high quality photos while you’re away! I’m currently working full time from home (Monday-Friday) so I’d be more than happy to welcome your pup into my home and have a new coworker, taking them out as needed, or pack up my gear and work with them in the comfort of their own home! About: I have raised 2 dogs since puppies until older age. I have experience with older dogs and puppies. Love them all. I have no pets at the moment so any pet I care for will receive lots of love. About: Let me meet your pup! I’m a huge human and pet lover. I help people by day working as a CT Tech at Loyola University Medical Center. Now I am looking to help animals by night (and get my dog fix in of course). My boyfriend and I recently moved to Elmhurst and do not have any kids or pets of our own, so I am very flexible and open to walks, drop ins, or extended dog sitting. I’m a very responsible and educated dog owner. My family dog, Baylor, is actually diabetic and requires lots of special care so I have learned a lot! :) I am currently a full time Lead CT Technologist working Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm. However, I am home by 4pm every day. I am free in the evenings and all day on Saturday and Sunday. I recently moved to Elmhurst and do not have any pets or children of my own, but someday I hope to have many. For now, I would love to meet and care for someone else’s pets and make some extra money to save up for house of my own. :) I live in a condo, but we have plenty of grass and trees our front. I plan to never have someone else’s dog outside without a leash on. I am a big worrier myself and anything can happen in a blink of an eye. In my home, pets can roam wherever and can go on furniture as they please. I treat others pets as I would want mine treated. As for clients home, I tend to follow any rules they might have and leave the place the same I found it.

About: I have a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Illinois. My education helped build a foundation and understanding of animal welfare, behavior, nutrition, and safe animal handling. I have over two years of professional experience training dogs in basic on-leash obedience, including heel, sit, stay, place, recall, and other foundational commands. I was trained by master trainer Joel Slaven, who has trained animals for movies, SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, and worked extensively alongside Jack Hanna. In addition to dog training, I have worked as a Kennel Technician, where I helped care for up to 50 dogs at a time. My responsibilities included feeding, administering oral and subcutaneous medications, and providing daily exercise through walks and free running in a large pasture. This experience gave me the opportunity to work with a wide variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I also have experience working at a dog daycare, where I supervised playgroups of 25 or more dogs and learned how to manage different personalities and energy levels in a group setting. Outside of my professional experience, I own a two-year-old English Bulldog. Her stubborn personality and high energy have taught me a great deal about patience, consistency, and adapting my approach to each individual dog. Overall, my experience has strengthened my passion for working with dogs and my commitment to providing them with patient, knowledgeable, and compassionate care. I have an open and flexible schedule, which allows me to provide dog walks/or home visits in the early morning, throughout the day and into the evening. I am happy to work around you and your pets schedule to provide dependable great care.
