About: As a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet caregiver, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I understand that every dog has a unique personality, so I tailor walks, playtime, and care to meet their individual needs. Whether your pet loves adventures, belly rubs, or a quiet companion, I provide dependable, attentive care that helps them feel safe and happy while you're away. My goal is to give you peace of mind and your pet a fun, loving experience filled with plenty of attention and affection. As a high school teacher, I have a reliable schedule and enjoy spending my free time caring for animals. During the school year, I am available after school, evenings, weekends, holidays, and school breaks. In the summer, I have a very flexible schedule with plenty of availability for walks, drop-in visits, daycare, and overnight care. This flexibility allows me to provide pets with the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve. Your pet's safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I provide a calm, loving, and secure environment where pets can feel relaxed and at home while you're away. With years of experience caring for animals, you can trust that your furry family member will receive attentive care, plenty of affection, and close supervision.
About: My natural patience and lifelong love for dogs allow me to quickly build a bond of trust with any pet I watch. I’m not just there to provide snuggles and food and walks; I’m there to give them genuine companionship and ensure they feel secure and cherished in our home. I work from home and spend most days at home working. I love having a "desk buddy" and a dog walk is a great way to break up the day, Your pup will have constant supervision! I have a large yard that is fenced in. I love to take frequent walks to burn off that excess energy. I have multiple dog beds, cozy blankets, and plenty of toys!

I have previously volunteered at a humane society and have also been employed at a dog boarding facility. I’m also an animal and nature photographer, so I’d be happy to take high quality photos while you’re away! I’m currently working full time from home (Monday-Friday) so I’d be more than happy to welcome your pup into my home and have a new coworker, taking them out as needed, or pack up my gear and work with them in the comfort of their own home! “Sophie did a wonderful job caring for our two cats! She was thorough and asked questions when necessary. She tried to engage both of our cats each day, which we appreciated. She even gave us a gift to come home to, which was really sweet!”

I work a flexible schedule, which means I can offer your pets consistent attention, regular potty breaks, and a structured routine so they feel completely safe and secure while you're away. About: Hi, I'm John, I'm a lifelong dog lover and have had the pleasure of having had large dogs as well as small dogs like my 13 year old Chihuahua Beans. I live in a single family home with a fenced in backyard perfect for games of fetch or outdoor exercise and have a nice nearby park where we like to walk. I have a smaller home so prefer to care for smaller dogs under 40 pounds and watch one dog at a time or 2 from the same owner. For walks or pet/sitting house sitting I can accomodate any size dogs. Dogs have full range of the house including couch and beds. I do work out of the home so dogs are home alone typically from 8am to 12 for lunch and then from 1pm to 4pm though my partner is often home during the day. This also means drop offs and pickups typically work best after 4:30PM I'm familiar and comfortable with dogs big and small as well as dogs with health issues, my Bulldog had the typical allergies and health problems associated with bulldogs and my Beans has a collapsing trachea so comfortable and experienced with dogs with challenges. Look forward to meeting you and your pup. I love hanging with my dog, bring him everywhere I go whenever possible, love having him be part of my day. Like being active, taking my dog to the park or the beach or just playing in the backyard. I do work out of the home but come home for lunch and walks so a typical weekday I'm out of the house at 8am, back home for lunch at 12 and then back to work until 4 but dogs get taken out and walked every 4 hours. My partner is often home during the day during the workweek as well. I have a smaller home so prefer to care for dogs under 40 pounds in my home, though any size dog is fine for walks or staying by you. Because of this I only watch one dog at a time or two dogs from the same owner, again I can accommodate any number of dogs for walks or staying by you. Dogs have the run of the house including couches and beds if they choose.
“Could not have asked for a better sitter for my cats :) Made sure to send plenty of pictures and keep in excellent contact. One of my cats had a special medical need, and Lauren took great care to make sure she was cared for.”

About: I have taken care of my family dog and cat for 13 years. We had a yorkie and bengal cat growing up and recently got a lab. My family cat had epilepsy and I helped administer a pill he takes twice a day. I am currently working full time and would love to spend my extra time watching your pet. I absolutely love dogs and cats and would have a great time caring for your furry friends! I will utilize all tools needed in caring for your pet. I will play with, feed, and care for your pet. During house visits, I will make sure all doors and windows are locked when leaving. I am currently working full time with the option to WFH when needed and would love to spend my time looking after your furry best friend! I enjoy playing and having fun. I will feed your pet, provide regular bathroom breaks, and plenty of time to get out their energy and run around.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Westmont
We hate to leave our Percy home when traveling, but Jayme took such great care of him. This was our first experience on Rover and I hope all caregivers are as kind and professional as Jayme! She guided us through the Rover process and, most importantly, made a real connection with our pup. Great communication and sent lots of pictures.

I had a great experience. Sam was able to help out on short notice over a busy holiday weekend which I appreciated. She made sure Tucker had plenty of outside time, played with him and gave him treats. I loved getting updates and pictures of her visits. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter and will book with her again.

Stephanie was the best! She treated our dogs like her own and played with them so much each time she came. We had never used Rover before and we are so glad that we picked Stephanie to watch them. We are so thankful to her for giving us peace of mind while we were gone and for keeping our dogs happy everyday! Highly recommend her to watch yours!

John is the best pet sitter we have had for Maxx. He is reliable, honest, friendly and great communicator. We could not have found a best sitter for drop in visits when we both have to go to work. He responds very promptly about inquiries and … our dog Maxx loves him already!

Evan – A Truly Exceptional Pet Sitter Evan is the best pet sitter I’ve ever worked with. I’ve had many pet sitters and boarding places. She’s been the best & feel the safest leaving my fur babies in her care! Her type of attentiveness and care is rare. She’s taken care of my elderly dog who had medical issues and cat twice now while I was away on vacation, and every time they see her, they get excited. They don’t trust just anyone and neither do I but Evan has earned that trust completely. My dog has a history of abuse and he trusts her completely because she is so gentle with him. Every visit is thoughtful and thorough. She sends multiple pictures and detailed updates about everything: meals, water breaks, potty time, and cuddles. I always looked forward reading the drop-ins. She’s always early, stays the full time, and brings a warm, friendly energy that both pets and me. Before initially hiring her, I virtually interviewed three other Pet Sitter’s and I felt like she was the best out of all of them in the area. I’m thankful I found her. Evan is kind, and reliable! She’s helped with clean up with my cat, when my dog had missed his puppy pad, and did trash removal. I feel completely at ease leaving my pets in her care, and I’ll absolutely continue to use her services. Highly recommend Evan to anyone who wants peace of mind and happy pets! I do admit I have high standards and she naturally meets them.

Amy did an amazing job with our golden retriever puppy. We had a meet and greet the day before drop in visits began which was a big reassurance that our puppy would be well taken care of. She was a great help with bringing our puppy out to potty and giving him some play time while she was visiting. Our puppy also had a little accident in his crate but she went above and beyond with helping clean that up which was very much appreciated. Would highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
