“Britt was absolutely amazing!! Our dog doesn't like new people taking her out right away, but she took to Britt within just a couple days. Very easy to work with and 100000% recommend!”

About: I’ve grown up and taken care of dogs ever since I was little. I would say I’m knowledgeable on dog training and have a lot of experience with all different types of dogs. I love to walk and pet pups so hopefully we can be good match!! I’m currently working part-time in the afternoon (3-6) so I have lots of free time to check in or walk your pet. I have owned Goldens my entire life so training a high-energy dog is something I’m experienced in. I’m all about creating a safe and enriching environment for dogs, so I’m open to adapting to your pets daily routine.

“Amanda saved the day when we had a sitter back out. She was flexible and took wonderful care of our dogs while we were away by visiting. She sent some of the best photos we have of our dogs. They were well cared for and we will definitely trust Amanda again in the future!”

About: I have professional k9 experience, I’ve been an explosive detection k9 handler for over 3 years. I’ve handled a multitude of dogs both in different sizes and demeanors. I have 2 retired work dogs a German shepherd & Malherd and a sweet bully mix at home! This is my top priority, I have an open and very flexible schedule! Call me when you need some last minute help! I’m hoping to make this my full time business. I always have a kennel in my vehicle and a dog first aid kit incase of any emergencies! Being a dog mom myself I know how hard it can be to trust others with your babies, I will treat your pets with the care I’d expect for my own.
“Caraline is amazing, we were so happy with how she took care of my two cats and are so excited to have her watch them again later this month. She is so patient, always sends photos and updates, follows every care instruction and brings so much peace of mind while traveling or being anxiously away from your pets. Her calm energy and love for animals has even made my extremely timid cat open up and initiate contact and play with her. She left areas cleaner than they were found and was eager to help outside of what was initially asked, including cleaning up cat litter/waste my cats dragged outside of their litter boxes without asking. I definitely recommend her and will be using her as a regular cat sitter!”

“Joan loves animals!!!!! She is responsible, responsive, caring and kind. She takes SUCH good care of my animals, and I feel so lucky to have found her! She also takes awesome pictures of them, and never fails to send them to me and keep me up to date on how they’re doing!”

About: I've taken care of dogs since I've been able to drive, along with owning dogs all my life! I enjoy taking them on walks, playing with them and comforting them when their owners are away! I also volunteer at the Weat Suburban Humane Society! I'm pretty flexible with hours, Mondays and Tuesdays are the only days of the week that I can't walk dogs during the day, however late afternoon still works! I have extra leashes, harnesses and creates if needed, but will treat anything with respect and care as if it were mine own. I'm flexible to a range of schedules and dog personalities

I currently work evenings and my wife works days! Our two daughters are very responsible and love all animals! If we are unavailable we will let you know immediately! About: I have hands-on experience caring for my own three dogs, including two Mastiffs and one Maltese. Caring for dogs with such different sizes, personalities, and needs has taught me how to adapt to each pet’s unique routine and temperament. From daily walks, feeding, grooming, playtime, and basic training to providing lots of love and attention, I understand the responsibility that comes with caring for pets. Friends and family have also trusted me to watch their pets, and I always treat every animal as if they were my own. As a nursing student with a strict schedule, I plan my time carefully to ensure pets receive the attention and care they deserve. I am available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week and on weekends. Whether your pet needs playtime, exercise, feeding, or companionship, I will make sure they feel loved and cared for while you’re away. As the owner of two Mastiffs and a Maltese, I am comfortable handling both large and small breeds. I understand the importance of maintaining routines, monitoring behavior, and creating a safe environment for every pet. Whether caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I follow all instructions carefully regarding feeding, medications, exercise, and special needs. My goal is to ensure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while their owner is away.
“Mollie is wonderful! I got a chance to meet her and I would highly recommend her to watch anyone’s pet. She clearly loves animals, is punctual and very nice too. I will definitely use her again. Thanks Mollie!!”
About: Hello! I'm Grace, but you can also call me Mairin! For as long as I can remember, I have had animals in my life to care for and love. Cats, dogs, the occasional fish and reptile…I have worked hard to take care of the animals in my life, and sometimes the animals in other people’s lives. I ensure the happiness, well-being, and most importantly, safety and health of all the animals I’ve cared for. I have my own cats and a dog at home, and am their primary caretaker. I clean up after them, make sure their bowls are clean, make sure they’re fed on time and have fresh water, and take the dog out for walks whenever possible. I am also experienced in raising and training puppies, as I was responsible for caring for the puppies from the day they were born until they could be adopted. I trained them by helping them get used to harnesses and leashes, weening them onto wet and dry food, and socializing them with the cats! I have plenty of time to spend with your pets and ensure their happiness and wellbeing! I do have a job alongside pet-sitting, but I will do my best to keep my calendar updated so you know when I am available! I have a relatively flexible schedule. I treat my client’s pets as I do my own. I make sure they’re fed and have a clean dish full of fresh water, and make sure to meet any of their needs properly and efficiently. I take care to follow the pet’s schedule, if any, and make sure they receive proper enrichment and time outside, whether it be playing in the yard or going on walks. I also take care to be diligent and check for any illness and odd behavior. Communication is incredibly important to me, and I will frequently send updates as well as photos to any pet parents!
About: My experience in customer service and healthcare translate to your pet because I can take excellent care with detail-oriented professionalism as well as their safety and care I am currently working part time. I have flexible hours and can take care of your pet with plenty of attention that they will need. I follow instructions very well and if you give me a list or a summary with information about your pet I can follow those instructions without a doubt

“Ann watched our two cats while we were out of town. She was on-time and provided updates letting us know our cats were doing well. Looking forward to using Ann in the future!”
About: I've loved dogs since I can first remember. my dad got a yellow lab Scottie who i was responsible for training and taking care of. In college after a close friend passed, enter Porter my very own yellow lab. For Porters 3rd birthday me and diana decided to get him a dog friend , enter Oliver our Daschund :) growing up I have cared for my family and neighbors dogs. Diana, my partner of 6 years, has had several dogs growing up and has also raised several litters of puppies. Porter has gone through advanced training and both Oliver and Porter are on the halo system. We see our dogs as family, not just pets. Dogs sleep on the bed and are allowed on the couch. We change the sheets and vacuum daily, meticulously clean. We both work from home (WFH). From the minute we wake up we take the dogs out to play and/or walk for at least 20 minutes along with some training before eating breakfast. We have a fully fenced yard and fairly flexible, constantly take breaks and meetings outside and walks around the neighborhood and park. We care for our pets in our home with the highest form of respect, love and understanding. We really see them as more than family or friends and take them with us everywhere. We bake Porter and Oliver a yearly birthday and holiday dog cake, and have traveled across the US from CA to as far as my hometown of Chicago by both plane and car, and have had dozens of hotel stays - our pack is polite, well mannered and good vibes
About: I started taking care and training dogs when I was 13. My parents rescued my dog Luna when I was 14 and I took care of her every day and trained her, she even understands Spanish! She is the sweetest dog ever but I currently don’t live with her anymore. I also enjoy taking care of kids and I am very patient and confident in my ability to handle anything. I love to teach and I am very passionate about what I do. Once I start something I work hard to become better everyday. I am currently on summer break so I have plenty of free time. I am fully committed to working Monday-Saturday mostly from 8am-9pm. My current schedule is simple. I go to the gym from 9-11:30am and pretty much free the rest of the day. I have a part time job and I work every other week Sat-Sun from 4-10. I have a really flexible schedule so feel free to ask any questions! I would usually take my dog out for her first walk at 8 in the morning. I would take her out for at least 15min and repeat this every 3/4 hours. After her first walk I fed her breakfast, sometimes I’d crack an egg on top or drizzle honey which is great for dogs, and I fed her twice a day. If it was muddy outside I would clean her paws and fur after. I would play with her and teach her new tricks every now and then. If her breath was bad I would brush her teeth at night. I loved cuddling and sleeping with her and I would do everything to make sure she was happy.
“Catherine took wonderful care of my two kittens while I was out of town for 10 days. She provided detailed updates with adorable pics to calm this nervous kitten MoMA! Highly recommend! :)”

About: My natural patience and lifelong love for dogs allow me to quickly build a bond of trust with any pet I watch. I’m not just there to provide snuggles and food and walks; I’m there to give them genuine companionship and ensure they feel secure and cherished in our home. I work from home and spend most days at home working. I love having a "desk buddy" and a dog walk is a great way to break up the day, Your pup will have constant supervision! I have a large yard that is fenced in. I love to take frequent walks to burn off that excess energy. I have multiple dog beds, cozy blankets, and plenty of toys!
“Morgan was fantastic! This was my first time using Rover and I am so glad I chose her. From the moment that I messaged her, she was very responsive. That’s when I knew she was the one that I should book with. She followed all of my detailed directions for both of my dogs and even provided one of them with medication. I booked her 4 times in one day and she always communicated, provided me with a thorough recap and even sent some pictures. I felt at ease throughout the day because I knew both of my dogs were being taken care of by Morgan. Thank you, Morgan!!”

Stephanie was the best! She treated our dogs like her own and played with them so much each time she came. We had never used Rover before and we are so glad that we picked Stephanie to watch them. We are so thankful to her for giving us peace of mind while we were gone and for keeping our dogs happy everyday! Highly recommend her to watch yours!

John is the best pet sitter we have had for Maxx. He is reliable, honest, friendly and great communicator. We could not have found a best sitter for drop in visits when we both have to go to work. He responds very promptly about inquiries and … our dog Maxx loves him already!

Adam was great with our 2 dogs. It was our first time using the app and he was great explaining things and alleviating concerns. He came over and learned their routine ahead of time which was great. Both dogs took to him right away. We will definitely use his services again

Amy did an amazing job with our golden retriever puppy. We had a meet and greet the day before drop in visits began which was a big reassurance that our puppy would be well taken care of. She was a great help with bringing our puppy out to potty and giving him some play time while she was visiting. Our puppy also had a little accident in his crate but she went above and beyond with helping clean that up which was very much appreciated. Would highly recommend!

Gabriella is fantastic with our young dog! We've had Gabriella over a few times for our energetic German Shepherd who can be quite a handful, and she is so kind and patient with him. Allowing someone into your home and allowing someone to take care of your pet is a big step, and we'd never used Rover before. Gabriella made me feel much more comfortable with the process and it has worked out so well. Thank you Gabriella!

Kathryn was fantastic! She was able to come and do a drop-in visit with a few days notice and made us feel very comfortable with the plan to check in on Grover :) She followed all instructions and made sure Grover was a very happy pup :) 10 out of 10 would recommend Kathryn to everyone!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
