I have years of experience with high energy, elderly, and special needs dogs. I’ve had family pets my whole life so I have plenty of experience with basic care as well. Aside from the usual errand runs, I am normally home during the day - so the pets will have minimal alone time! To ensure the safety of the pets, I only host one family at a time. At my home, pups are more than welcome to lounge on the furniture. I provide clean bowls, toys, along with sniff pads and frozen treats! We have a back patio that is not fenced in, but there is a lead we can attach to the collar so they can stay within sight. We could tell how happy and comfortable she was with the pictures Jean sent and even when we picked her up as she was happy to keep hanging out and play while we talked whereas with a lot of other sitters, she’s been happy to go home asap.

Denise is the best sitter! It's so clear that she absolutely loves what she does and really cares. I've never felt more comfortable leaving our pup with someone...she comes back home happy, which isn't always the case when we leave her overnight (we used to get the cold shoulder for a day, haha). Trinity was fantastic with Brutus! She was super responsive before the stay, flexible with drop-off time, and asked great questions about his temperament. Throughout the stay she sent photos and updates so I never had to wonder how he was doing. Brutus settled in quickly, loved his walks, and from what it sounds Brutus was totally obsessed with her squeaker toys. It's clear she genuinely enjoys the dogs she cares for. Highly recommend and we'll definitely book again!
Wayne watched my 7 month old puppy for 10 days while I was on a trip overseas. Wayne did a fantastic job of making sure my dog would get the attention and safety he needed so I didn’t have to worry about him while I was gone. The fenced in backyard with other dogs around was very beneficial for my puppy’s stay with his energy levels. He gave me daily updates with videos and photos to show how my dog was doing. He also followed all my instructions and made sure to keep away any bones or toys that would have an issue at the home. After the stay, my dog has been behaving well and seemed very satisfied with his stay at Wayne’s.
Normally I would leave my pups with family members but none were available so I went with Maureen. I made the right choice. Maureen came to meet my two older girls so we could discuss all concerns, including some recent medical needs. When I dropped them off Maureen made them feel comfortable and they settled in nicely. If the need arrives in the future I won’t hesitate to use her again.
Michaela was great with Kylo. We appreciated having a meet and greet as we had never boarded him before and were not sure how he would do. She was great with him and he was able to settle in after the first full day. She was understanding of our nervousness and kept us updated on how he was doing. Definitely recommend her and will use her again if we have the need.
