Tender Loving Care
I've had dogs and cats since I was under 10. I've also worked with a dog rescue group in the last 10 years. I took my father-in -law's dog in when she was paralyzed from an accident and I gave her hydro-therapy and got her walking again. I took in my friend's dog for over a year when he couldn't take care of him due to my friend's health issues. I've watched my neighbor's dogs in my home while she was gone on vacation. I have a big fenced in back yard that the dogs have the run of. They can go out as often as they want to if they want to play or go potty. I love to play with them and give them a lot of affection. The pets are never left alone in the yard or house. My husband is always home with me so the dogs have two people to watch them, play with them, pet them, let them outside and care for them. They can feel at home in my house, they're not restricted from any part of my home. Me and my husband both love animals and have had eight dogs since we've been married. Our last dog was a certified therapy dog. We took him to puppy class and he loved it so much we kept taking him to class after class until he reached the level of therapy dog. We enjoy interacting with pets. We respect them and love them as if they were children. We know they have souls and feelings and we treat each one as a special and unique being. If one prefers to play, we play. If one prefers to snuggle, they can come up on the couch and snuggle. We're protective, loving and caring to each pet and cater to their own personality.

Jean and Al were wonderful pet sitters for Gus and Stella during our 10-day vacation. We felt completely at ease knowing they were being cared for so well. Gus is a special needs dog and needs extra attention, including medication, and Jean and Al went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable, cared for, and had everything he needed. They also sent us photos of both dogs every day, which we really appreciated. It was obvious from the pictures that Gus and Stella were relaxed, happy, and getting plenty of love from Jean, Al, and their family. When we picked them up, both dogs seemed happy and completely comfortable, which told us everything we needed to know. We’re very grateful for the care they gave Gus and Stella and would absolutely use them again the next time we travel.

Me and my husband are both retired so one or both of us are here to take care of your dogs 24/7, and the dogs will never be left home alone.

I have a big fenced in back yard so the dogs can go out whenever they choose to and play and go potty. They can jump on the couch with me and snuggle if they want to. The dog runs the show around here.
Une journée type
A typical day would be different for every dog depending on the dog's own unique needs and wants. Sitting for a puppy would be entirely different than sitting for a senior dog. If a dog needs a lot of play and exercise, that's what we would provide for him. If a dog needs a lot of affection, that's what he would get. It's all depends on the dog's preferences.
