About: I have taken care of dogs since I started highschool. Before becoming a sitter on this app I walked, bathed, feed, and over night stayed with my neighbors, family, and friends dogs of all different breeds big too small. About: I have been an avid animal lover as a child and have owned cats, bunnies and currently a 100 pound bernedoodle! I love taking care of animals and have experience administering medicine. I have previous dog walking experience aside from my own giant puppy. I currently live in Westmont IL with a lot of space and a quiet safe neighborhood for long walks. I work remote for 3 days out of the week so I am flexible with drop in visits and walks. My dog would love a playmate during the day as well, so if you need me to babysit at my place there's plenty of room. I have a friendly bernedoodle who loved to play and has moved with us 3 times to different states! He gets daily long walks, plays with us, and gets treats. We like to take him to explore different parks and trails in the area.

My job is only about 10 minutes from home, so I have the flexibility to accommodate additional check-ins or special needs when needed, including extended lunch breaks for pets who require extra attention. On weekends, we are home and able to provide extra companionship, backyard time, play, and relaxation. We understand the importance of maintaining a pet’s normal routine and creating a calm environment where they feel safe and cared for while away from their family. We prioritize safety, comfort, and trust for every pet that stays in our home. We live in a 3-story townhome with a fully fenced backyard, providing a secure space for outdoor time. Our finished basement offers a dedicated pet area where pets can have their own quiet space to relax, or have separation when needed. We understand that every pet has different comfort levels and needs. If you would like your pet to have companionship during their stay, we can arrange a slow and supervised introduction with our pets to make sure everyone is comfortable. If your pet prefers their own space, we can keep pets completely separated for the entirety of their stay. Our own pets will have access to the upstairs third level of our home, allowing us to create a safe and comfortable environment for everyone. Our home already includes two small dogs and a cat, so we have experience managing pets with different personalities, routines, and boundaries.

Not only did she reply right away, but she basically headed straight there. She was incredibly patient with Caesar who can sometimes be reluctant to go on his walks with new people. I booked her for an hour walk, but she went over that time to allow him to get comfortable with her before walking him. She communicated throughout the whole session and made me feel less anxious. About: Ive been around animals of all sorts my entire life. I actually grew up on a farm and participated in 4-H until I aged out. I also used to work at an Animal Hospital. My job there included taking care of strays that came in, socializing them so that they could be adopted, cleaning up after the cats and dogs (both the strays and those who were there for appointments and procedures) cleaning around the office, walking the dogs, administering basic medical needs, etc Pet care fits into my daily and weekly routine even while working part time. I make time each day for feeding, walks, playtime, and giving pets attention throughout the day. Even with a busy schedule, caring for both my pets and someone else’s is something I prioritize because having a consistent routine helps keep pets happy, active, and comfortable. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and feel safe in their environment. Since I work part time, I have flexibility in my schedule and can give pets the time and care they need while their owners are away.

About: Growing up surrounded by dogs of all shapes and sizes, I have always loved our pets! I have been caring for mainly dogs 10+ years, and have cared for dogs of all ages. Typically when caring for dogs I will maintain they're regular feeding schedule while walking them on longer walks at least twice daily. I can get out and exercise with high energy dogs, or I can keep older dogs or smaller dogs company. I have cared for puppies still needing to be house broken and older dogs requiring medication. Over quarantine my family started fostering a cat as well who we fell in love with and now rules our household. Cat sitting is also a newer part time for me but I enjoy every second of it. I have cared for households containing 1 or up to 7 cats. Maintaining a dogs/cats schedule is important so if necessary I can follow specific instructions to make your furry friend as happy as can be! Amberley and her husband Matt went above and beyond to slowly introduce my cats to their new surroundings - to the point where they were sleeping with the cats in a separate room to ensure their comfort and care.
