“Amy is great! I contacted her in a pinch after another Rover sitter had to cancel last minute, and Amy was responsive and dependable from the meet and greet all the way through the stay with my cat! Amy followed all instructions. I’ll definitely use her services in the future!”

“Angela did a wonderful job watching our dog. She came 3 times a day for walks and feeding. We could tell that Leine was well taken care of. Definitely will use Angela and River again.”

About: I started taking care and training dogs when I was 13. My parents rescued my dog Luna when I was 14 and I took care of her every day and trained her, she even understands Spanish! She is the sweetest dog ever but I currently don’t live with her anymore. I also enjoy taking care of kids and I am very patient and confident in my ability to handle anything. I love to teach and I am very passionate about what I do. Once I start something I work hard to become better everyday. I am currently on summer break so I have plenty of free time. I am fully committed to working Monday-Saturday mostly from 8am-9pm. My current schedule is simple. I go to the gym from 9-11:30am and pretty much free the rest of the day. I have a part time job and I work every other week Sat-Sun from 4-10. I have a really flexible schedule so feel free to ask any questions! I would usually take my dog out for her first walk at 8 in the morning. I would take her out for at least 15min and repeat this every 3/4 hours. After her first walk I fed her breakfast, sometimes I’d crack an egg on top or drizzle honey which is great for dogs, and I fed her twice a day. If it was muddy outside I would clean her paws and fur after. I would play with her and teach her new tricks every now and then. If her breath was bad I would brush her teeth at night. I loved cuddling and sleeping with her and I would do everything to make sure she was happy.
“This was our 2nd vacation this summer with Stephanie W. taking care of our Birman cat Little Bear with morning drop in visits. Photos every morning showed lots of play time. Stephanie is awesome!”

About: Hello! My name is Alana and I have worked with animals for over a decade, beginning in high school. I worked for a veterinary clinic for 10 years until I moved into a different field. Even then, I still missed working with animals and enjoyed it so much that I ran my own animal rescue for 6 years. On top of a full time job, I work part time taking care of other people’s pets because I love it so much! I currently have three dogs in my home, Frank, a chihuahua mix, and Estelle, a Boston terrier mix, and Roxanne (Roxy) a lab/poodle mix. I also have a Maine Coon cat named Lenny who loves my dogs. I have worked with every dog breed out there, from tiny to large and special needs animals. I also consider myself a cat whisperer and reptile enthusiast. Please feel free to ask me any questions! I work full time from home, 7:30 - 4:00pm Monday through Friday. My dogs get potty breaks during that time and plenty (sometimes too much!) attention. I treat your pets as if they are part of my family. If I am not home and have to run out, the pet will be separated or crated from my own animals. I follow any instructions you give me to a T. I tend to ask a lot of questions to make sure I know everything about your pet.

“Ann provided updates every day while we were gone, along with pictures. We have one excessively shy kitty and one more sociable kitty-- our shy kitty hid the whole time despite Ann trying to find her. This was expected by us but I appreciate Ann looking for her. Our kitties seemed well-cared for (and the shy one revealed herself as soon as we returned home)!”

“Charlotte was a wonderful sitter and made me feel so comfortable throughout my trip away from my babies (w cats)! Will be booking again the next time I’m away.”

“Great with our chocolate lab, willing to work with us and honor our requests. Came on short notice when we needed an extra night. Responded quickly and gave updates with every visit.”

About: Hi, I'm Sayuj. As a lifelong animal lover, my home has always been filled with paws. After recently saying goodbye to my own sweet dogs, the house has felt incredibly empty. I deeply miss the companionship, the daily routines, and the pure joy a dog brings to a home. Opening my doors to your furry family members is a way for me to keep that passion for pet care alive, and I promise to treat your dog exactly like they were my own. Over the years, I've gained a wealth of hands-on experience. I lovingly cared for my Beagle for over 8 years, as well as a beautiful Beagle/Border Collie mix for 6 years. When I first got my dog, Rocky, he wasn't good with people, but I trained him from the ground up to help him become comfortable and trust them. Later, even when he had IVDD, I retaught him how to walk, so I know exactly what it's like working with a dog that needs deep attentiveness. I've also regularly dog-sat for large, energetic breeds, including German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Laboradors, and more! Currently, I run my own business and am actively searching for my next full-time role. This means I work from home right here in Woodridge and have a highly flexible schedule to dedicate to your pets. Because my home is currently pet-free, it offers a calm, safe environment where your dog will get my absolute undivided attention for boarding. I am also more than happy to house-sit at your place or drop in for visits. I would love nothing more than to shower your dog with the exact same level of devotion, patience, and love I gave my own. I have a very flexible schedule and willing to devote all my time at any given moment to your pet's wants and needs. My daily routine is quite open so I can house sit or drop in to walk the dog, feed them, etc. I am diligent in making sure I follow all the owner's instructions in taking care of their dog. All dogs are different and are used to different things. That's why I want to make them feel at home and treat them as if their owners do. As a lifelong dog owner, I am used to keeping the home "dog-proof" and understand what is dangerous/can be dangerous for a dog and what isn't.
“Carlen was great! She helped ease our minds by doing meet and greets prior to the booking and was very flexible when we needed to modify plans the day before. Happy our girls were in good hands with her!”

“Dawanna saved the day! When our original person to watch our dog canceled, she responded promptly to my message. She kept me informed and made my day away, so much easier knowing my dog was taken care of.”

About: I’m a passionate and reliable pet lover with years of hands on experience caring for dogs of all ages and needs. I’ve had four dogs of my own, including my current puppy, so I understand the energy, attention, and patience that younger dogs require. I’ve also cared for two senior dogs with health issues, which taught me how to provide gentle, attentive care and manage more complex needs with compassion. In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve walked dogs for neighbors and friends and have experience caring for pets in their homes. I’m comfortable following specific routines, administering basic care, and making sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I’m dependable, communicative, and truly enjoy spending time with animals of all personalities and energy levels! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, especially during the summer when I’m home from college and able to make it my main focus. I have a very flexible schedule and can plan my day around each pet’s specific needs, whether that’s regular walks, feeding times, play sessions, or check ins. Because this is my primary commitment over the summer, I’m able to give pets plenty of attention, stay consistent with their routines, and be available for a variety of times throughout the day. I prioritize reliability and communication, so you can feel confident your pet is getting the care and attention they deserve. I tailor my care to each pet’s routine and needs to make them feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible. In a client’s home, I stick closely to your pet’s normal schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest, so they can stay in a familiar environment. I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, while also keeping their space clean and secure. Across all services, I focus on clear communication, dependability, and treating every pet like my own, whether that means energetic playtime for puppies or gentle, attentive care for senior dogs.
Woodridge dog parents share their Rover experiences
Sarah made our first Rover experience feel incredibly seamless and comfortable. We normally have family watch our fur babies, so trusting someone new was a little nerve-wracking for us, but she gave us so much peace of mind throughout the visit. We really appreciated all of the updates, pictures, and guidance she gave us. She followed instructions thoughtfully, communicated clearly, and it genuinely seemed like both of our girls were comfortable with her. She was patient, attentive, and very respectful of our home. We’d absolutely book with Sarah again and are so grateful for the care she gave our girls.

Stephanie was the best! She treated our dogs like her own and played with them so much each time she came. We had never used Rover before and we are so glad that we picked Stephanie to watch them. We are so thankful to her for giving us peace of mind while we were gone and for keeping our dogs happy everyday! Highly recommend her to watch yours!

Audrey is the best. If you’re reading this in hopes of finding your new dog sitter - look no further. She is communicative, detail oriented, thoughtful, and caring. She has been our weekly dog walker for months and we have always felt very comfortable with our spoiled little girls being in her care! We had never opened our home to a stranger before to help care for our girls, and we are so thankful that Audrey was able to introduce us to Rover with such an amazing first experience. I cannot go on enough about how great she is!

All was in order when I returned home around 4:30. The dogs were let out around 9:30 a.m. and early afternoon. Jess texted just after 5 that she was preparing for the final check in of the day, but I replied that I’d returned home on schedule and the visit wouldn’t be necessary.
Gabriella is fantastic with our young dog! We've had Gabriella over a few times for our energetic German Shepherd who can be quite a handful, and she is so kind and patient with him. Allowing someone into your home and allowing someone to take care of your pet is a big step, and we'd never used Rover before. Gabriella made me feel much more comfortable with the process and it has worked out so well. Thank you Gabriella!

Jeff have been a fantastic part of our lives for the past year and a half. Jeff took such great care of Nuri, and he was a true professional. He was incredibly flexible and understanding whenever we had a last-minute change to our work schedules, which we appreciated so much. We’re so grateful for everything he's done and will miss him! Any dog would be lucky to have him.
