“Allison did a great job with our Murph! She was very communicative, shared photos, and played with our pup while we were away. She also FaceTimed in advance, which we appreciated since this was our first time using Rover. Would book again :)”

About: I have taken care of many pets belonging to friends and family alike and have enjoyed it every time! I’ve taken care of many senior pets as well as pets with ongoing medical attention. I’d be more than willing to aid in medications or specific scheduling needs for a loving animal! I am currently available on weekends/most evenings and would love for a chance to spend a great amount of time to get to know an amazing animal as well as their owners. If you ever have a question regarding availability, feel free to reach out! I will be able to take care of a pet thoroughly in an owner’s home with instructions needed for their pets. I am not able to have any animals in my own home due to owning a cat of my own

“Ann watched our two cats while we were out of town. She was on-time and provided updates letting us know our cats were doing well. Looking forward to using Ann in the future!”

“Charlotte was a wonderful sitter and made me feel so comfortable throughout my trip away from my babies (w cats)! Will be booking again the next time I’m away.”

About: All four of us are dog lovers and just recently had to put our 15 year old black lab, Gunder, down. It was very hard for us, but he is pain free and in a better place! We have a large (.5 acre) yard that is fenced and ready for more doggy fun!! We look forward to having a new best friend for a while and promise to give our full attention to your pup!! I currently work evenings and my wife works days! Our two daughters are very responsible and love all animals! If we are unavailable we will let you know immediately! We have a fully fenced half acre yard and can accommodate any breed or size of dog!! We are willing to follow any specific schedule for your loved one - diet, walks, play time, rest time, etc.!!
About: I started taking care and training dogs when I was 13. My parents rescued my dog Luna when I was 14 and I took care of her every day and trained her, she even understands Spanish! She is the sweetest dog ever but I currently don’t live with her anymore. I also enjoy taking care of kids and I am very patient and confident in my ability to handle anything. I love to teach and I am very passionate about what I do. Once I start something I work hard to become better everyday. I am currently on summer break so I have plenty of free time. I am fully committed to working Monday-Saturday mostly from 8am-9pm. My current schedule is simple. I go to the gym from 9-11:30am and pretty much free the rest of the day. I have a part time job and I work every other week Sat-Sun from 4-10. I have a really flexible schedule so feel free to ask any questions! I would usually take my dog out for her first walk at 8 in the morning. I would take her out for at least 15min and repeat this every 3/4 hours. After her first walk I fed her breakfast, sometimes I’d crack an egg on top or drizzle honey which is great for dogs, and I fed her twice a day. If it was muddy outside I would clean her paws and fur after. I would play with her and teach her new tricks every now and then. If her breath was bad I would brush her teeth at night. I loved cuddling and sleeping with her and I would do everything to make sure she was happy.
“Christopher was AMAZING!! He was so thoughtful, caring and thorough with our pets! I felt so comfortable leaving my girls in his care! And his communication was top notch! Highly recommend him!”

“Sam was so amazing with our dogs. We tried her for the first time on Rover and we will definitely use her again. She is knowledgeable, is prompt, on time and communicates very well. Sam took great care of our dogs and we are so happy we found her.”

“Morgan was great, she checked in on Daisy multiple times and gave me updates and pictures. Daisy can be nervous around new people so it was nice to know she was doing well with Morgan. We were able to enjoy our evening out without worrying about her.”

“We had Madison do drop in visits and would definitely book her again. She did a great job following our instructions and was timely in her visits. Additionally, she was communicative and gave consistent updates. I would highly recommend booking with Madison!”

“Amanda did a great job stopping by to let our two pups out while we were out of town. We had almost no cell service where we were, but Amanda provides the peace of mind that our dogs will be well cared for while we are gone!”

“Stephanie was wonderful! We needed someone to take care of our cat for a couple days and find someone in under a week. Stephanie was thankfully available and helped us out. She was very friendly and informative! We will definitely consider using her in the future. Thank you Stephanie!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Woodridge
Stephanie was the best! She treated our dogs like her own and played with them so much each time she came. We had never used Rover before and we are so glad that we picked Stephanie to watch them. We are so thankful to her for giving us peace of mind while we were gone and for keeping our dogs happy everyday! Highly recommend her to watch yours!

Audrey is the best. If you’re reading this in hopes of finding your new dog sitter - look no further. She is communicative, detail oriented, thoughtful, and caring. She has been our weekly dog walker for months and we have always felt very comfortable with our spoiled little girls being in her care! We had never opened our home to a stranger before to help care for our girls, and we are so thankful that Audrey was able to introduce us to Rover with such an amazing first experience. I cannot go on enough about how great she is!

All was in order when I returned home around 4:30. The dogs were let out around 9:30 a.m. and early afternoon. Jess texted just after 5 that she was preparing for the final check in of the day, but I replied that I’d returned home on schedule and the visit wouldn’t be necessary.
Gabriella is fantastic with our young dog! We've had Gabriella over a few times for our energetic German Shepherd who can be quite a handful, and she is so kind and patient with him. Allowing someone into your home and allowing someone to take care of your pet is a big step, and we'd never used Rover before. Gabriella made me feel much more comfortable with the process and it has worked out so well. Thank you Gabriella!

Jeff have been a fantastic part of our lives for the past year and a half. Jeff took such great care of Nuri, and he was a true professional. He was incredibly flexible and understanding whenever we had a last-minute change to our work schedules, which we appreciated so much. We’re so grateful for everything he's done and will miss him! Any dog would be lucky to have him.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
