About: I have grown up around dogs since I was born. I have always loved caring for and interacting with dogs. I do not have my own dog currently, but would love to help care for others! I am currently substitute teaching at an elementary school, so there may be weekdays I am unavailable. I am currently not working full time, so I will be available to walk your dog(s) throughout the week! I am open to walking as far as needed for your pup. I have experience safely walking more energized dogs, so your dog will be in good hands! I have also walked up to 3 dogs at a time (various sizes) if you have more than one that needs to be walked a time.

About: Animals have been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember, but English Bulldogs hold a special place in my heart. I trained and raised my own English Bulldog for 9 years, who grew into a special needs senior: blind in his later years and on multiple daily medications. Loving him through every stage taught me what bulldog parents already know: these dogs are one of a kind, and they need a sitter who understands them. Bulldogs aren't just low-maintenance couch potatoes, and I know the details that make the difference. I understand their stubbornness, heat sensitivities, and breathing issues. I stay on top of daily wrinkle cleaning and regular ear checks to prevent irritation and infections, and I'm happy to apply nose butter and follow your dog's grooming routine if needed. I also have the patience to work with a stubborn bulldog mood. Managing multiple daily medications and caring for a blind senior dog taught me to be organized, gentle, and attentive to any changes in routine, appetite, or behavior. My experience goes well beyond loving animals. I've worked at both a pet store and a local animal hospital, where I cared for a variety of animals, cleaned enclosures and kennels, maintained a sanitary environment, tracked food intake and behavior, and administered medications. Working alongside veterinary teams taught me to notice small changes and flag concerns early, so every animal in my care is safe, comfortable, and closely monitored. Don't have a bulldog? Don't worry! I've had years of experience caring for dogs of many breeds, plus cats, small animals, aquatic pets, and more, and I've provided trusted in-home pet care for neighbors and family members. Whether your pup is a personable bulldog like mine, or any other beloved companion, under my care they won't just be looked after. They'll be understood, loved, and treated like family. A recent Elmhurst University graduate, I currently have a flexible, full-time availability to dedicate to pet care, meaning your pets get my full attention and availability any day of the week. When I visit your home, my top priority is making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and as stress-free as possible in their own environment. I know that unfamiliar faces can be an adjustment for some animals, so I always take a calm, patient approach and let your pet set the pace when it comes to warming up. During drop-ins, I'll follow your routines closely: feeding schedules, medications, behavioral notes, and any specific preferences you've set for your pet. I treat your home with the same respect and care I'd want shown in my own. Everything will be left exactly as I found it. For dog walks, I keep a close eye on body language and surroundings at all times, keeping walks safe and enjoyable. I'm experienced in handling dogs with different temperaments and energy levels, and I'll always make sure your pup is secure before heading out. I'm also happy to provide updates, photos, and notes after every visit so you always know how your pet is doing, because peace of mind for you is just as important as good care for them!

About: I’ve cared for cats and dogs of all ages for friends and family members, in addition to raising my own cat. I have experience caring for animals with health concerns and administering medications as directed. I understand the importance of maintaining feeding schedules, providing exercise and enrichment, monitoring for changes in behavior, and ensuring pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I am currently taking a flexible, self-paced class so I have open availability to take care of pets as needed. I have open availability on weekdays and can do weekends as needed. I have a medium sized yard for the pets to get outdoor excercise. I also have a large basement where I can set up a crate, litter box, toys, etc

I follow your instructions closely, maintain your pet’s routine, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. This includes feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, medication if needed, and lots of attention and reassurance. For dog walks in my neighborhood or yours, I use calm, confident handling and always prioritize safety. Walks are structured but enjoyable, tailored to your dog’s energy level, age, and comfort. I reinforce good leash manners, stay aware of surroundings, and make sure each walk is both stimulating and relaxing for your dog.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I was never allowed to have a dog growing up so I would help out my neighbors wherever i was living at the time when they were at work. I also volunteered at an animal shelter for a couple years and went through proper training on how to take care of and make both dogs and cats feel as comfortable as possible. I was finally able to convince my parents to let me have a dog and I have been the main caretaker of my golden doodle smudge for about three years now I have recently switched jobs so I have a lot more free time on my hands and am finally able to get started with Rover after wanting to job for years. This way I can take care of and love on all of the animals and I can take some of the responsibilities off of another animal parent because I know it can be hard sometimes. My dog gets two meals a day and a snack around lunch time. We go on a short morning walk and a longer evening walk after dinner. For overnight house sitting my goal is to make sure to follow the routines that clients already have in place for their pets as not to change their schedules. About: I feel strongly about the human animal-bond and I believe your pets deserve the best care possible! My experience goes back to childhood since I've had cats and dogs my whole life. I've watched neighbors' and friends' pets while they were out of town and even watched a friend's horses while she was on vacation. I walked dogs at Anderson Animal Shelter (now Anderson Humane) as a kid. I worked for a pet sitting company for a little over a year in 2020. That year I also began school to become a certified veterinary technician. After two years taking classes full time and completing two externships I became a CVT. My schooling did include kennels- aka walking, cleaning up after and caring for the rescued dogs and cats we learned on (they were adopted out at the end of each semester). I also have helped with pets who were boarding at veterinary offices. I can do medical treatments on your fur baby if necessary. I am open to watching exotic pets. I have a huge admiration for spicy cats. I am your person for house sitting and drop in visits. I will be using Rover for part time work but I do have flexible availability! I have stepped away from full time work all together for the foreseeable future. I am a morning person and I would love to spend some time outside with your pup whatever the weather may be. I enjoy walking outside even in zero degree weather! I am happy to accommodate any routine you need for your fur babies. Greeting your pet is important, especially if I am new to them. I will give them food and water and clean dishes as advised by you. I will take them for a walk or outside to play and go potty depending on what they are up for. If you need pills or treatments or any kind to be administered I can absolutely do that. I will treat your pet, your home and belongings with the utmost respect and responsibility.

About: I have worked I Dogtopia Lagrange for over a year now, I have also been a pet sitter in years prior and love to hangout with all different types of pups I do work my morning at Dogtopia of Lagrange Monday-Friday if your pup is already a pup that visit I can take them along with me if wanted but the rest of the day after work ( at 1pm) I have the rest of the day to have the most fun we can. First getting a dog used to a new environment/person is my first priority than, Lots of walks for your pups, if needed can crate, and lots and lots of cuddles.
