About: I grew up with my family’s various rescue cats and dogs, so I’ve always been an animal lover. Since childhood, I’ve also enjoyed pet sitting for friends, family members, and neighbors whenever I’ve had the opportunity to do so. I have experience looking after cats and dogs, as well as birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, horses, and a couple of different types of lizards. I have some experience with training my/my family’s cats and dogs, and lots of experience with giving love to animals of all kinds! Because of my love for animals, I donate 5% of my proceeds from each Rover booking towards humane societies and animal rescue organizations. I’m currently a full-time college student, so I use the remainder of my Rover earnings to afford care for my own cat. During the school year, I’m a full-time student at the University of Vermont and, when I’m not in classes or doing Rover visits, I’m often spending time with my own cat! I spend summers, and most other school breaks, at home with my family in IL. “Gabriela and Richard were so kind and sweet with my toy poodle! They even took her on little adventures to get doggie ice cream and nice walks around the neighborhood, aside from plenty of outside time in their own fenced-in backyard! Gabriela was super great about texting updates and super cute pics of my girl! And they even got her to eat a good bit while I was away even though she usually tries to go on a hunger strike in my absence. Gabriela met us for like 15 mins at the local park before boarding and got to know my dog and garner some info from me, which I really appreciated and not a lot of boarders do that! My girl was very happy when I picked her up and I would absolutely rebook Gabriela and Richard! Highly recommend!”
