“Ann watched our two cats while we were out of town. She was on-time and provided updates letting us know our cats were doing well. Looking forward to using Ann in the future!”
About: I love animals and respect their personalities. I amaze people with how quickly their pets open up to me and fall in love with me. Your pet will be excited to see me and I will treat them with all the care they deserve I used to take care of my dog every day. We played a game with her every day, including hide-and-seek which I trained her to play. I used to have a cat for years but sadly my wife is allergic I am careful to respect a pet’s boundaries and don’t come on too strong. I pay close attention to the signals they give me and it helps me quickly get familiar with them and have them cuddling up to me in no time.

About: I’ve taken care of senior dogs who had trouble seeing and walking, cleaned up after them, and handled puppies as young as 1 week old. I’ve worked with dogs ranging from Chihuahuas to Great Danes, so no pet is too small or too big for me. I work part time so my availability changes week to week depending on my shifts, but I always know my schedule in advance so I’ll be upfront with you about when I’m available before we book anything. Pet care is something I take seriously so I make sure I’m not overcommitting if I say I’m available, I mean it. On days I’m not working I’m pretty much free for most of the day. Morning and evening availability is usually the most consistent for me regardless of whether I have a shift. I’ll always communicate with you ahead of time if anything changes and I’m not the type to leave you hanging last minute. I care for my own cat Simba daily, keeping him engaged and comfortable, the same attention and energy I’ll bring to your pet. In your home I’ll handle feeding, playtime, cleaning up any messes, and anything else your pet needs.
About: Ive grown up with dogs all my life, i started dog sitting for family and friends when i was 15. All family’s relied on me to check in, feed, and play with their pets. Im currently working part time at a carwash which are normally 4 hour shifts. I can come before and after to play and walk your dogs! I will be able to execute the schedule you give me, whether it is feeding time, walking time, or playing time. I love spoiling dogs.
About: I started taking care and training dogs when I was 13. My parents rescued my dog Luna when I was 14 and I took care of her every day and trained her, she even understands Spanish! She is the sweetest dog ever but I currently don’t live with her anymore. I also enjoy taking care of kids and I am very patient and confident in my ability to handle anything. I love to teach and I am very passionate about what I do. Once I start something I work hard to become better everyday. I am currently on summer break so I have plenty of free time. I am fully committed to working Monday-Saturday mostly from 8am-9pm. My current schedule is simple. I go to the gym from 9-11:30am and pretty much free the rest of the day. I have a part time job and I work every other week Sat-Sun from 4-10. I have a really flexible schedule so feel free to ask any questions! I would usually take my dog out for her first walk at 8 in the morning. I would take her out for at least 15min and repeat this every 3/4 hours. After her first walk I fed her breakfast, sometimes I’d crack an egg on top or drizzle honey which is great for dogs, and I fed her twice a day. If it was muddy outside I would clean her paws and fur after. I would play with her and teach her new tricks every now and then. If her breath was bad I would brush her teeth at night. I loved cuddling and sleeping with her and I would do everything to make sure she was happy.
“Elyse did a great job watching our cat while we were gone for a week. She was very organized and communicative, and sent plenty of pictures each day that she stopped by. She also gave Cid plenty of attention and was easy to work with”

About: I’ve taken care of all types of animals since I was a kid. From neighbors to people I happen to meet. I treat their pet like their my own. I’m just graduated college with my bachelors in animal science. My end goal is to be a veterinarian. I love all animals from horses to cats. I’m available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 11am-1pm to do drop in visits as well as walks. I’ve always keep a close eye when it comes to walks, letting dogs outside, or even making sure cats stay inside even when they want to be adventurous.
About: I’ve been dog walking for 4 years and truly love caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I got 3 dogs myself , 2 Presa Canarios & 1 Maltipoo. I’m reliable, patient, and focused on making sure every pup feels safe, happy, and comfortable during every walk. Whether your dog needs exercise, playtime, or just a little extra attention while you’re away, I treat them like family. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as a stay-at-home mom because I have a flexible schedule and spend most of my day active and organized. I enjoy being around animals, and I have free time during the day that allows me to give pets the attention, exercise, and care they need. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or check-ins, I’m able to make pet care a consistent and reliable part of my weekly routine.I can also do late drop ins. I care for pets by making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible. In my client’s home, I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medications if needed, and any special care requests. I also make sure pets get plenty of attention, patience, and exercise based on their personality and energy level. I always prioritize safety, supervision, and communication with pet parents by providing updates and photos so they feel at ease while away.
About: I have always grown up with dogs and have always been an animal lover since a little kid!! My experience ranges from 2+ years working as a veterinary assistant, to working at a dog daycare for a little over 2 years, and volunteering at an animal shelter for 4 years! I am comfortable with any dog size and breed as well as cats! All pets are welcome! I currently have two dogs which you can see in my photos, they are my babies and they have brought me so much joy into my life! I hope to bring joy into your dogs life when their paw-rents arent home! I am currently working part-time while I look for another internship or a full time job since I just graduated college so I have a pretty open availability throughout the week. When i'm not at work i'm going on nature walks or playing with my dogs or working out at the gym! I am always aware of any surroundings when taking your pet out on walks and I will always make sure they get a lot of love and attention while their paw-rents are away! I would just like to be informed if your pet is reactive to other animals/people and if there are any other concerns I should be well aware of! Also if they need to use any special collar or e-collar while being out. I am also comfortable with giving your pet medications if they are on any, whether it be oral meds or ointment or eye drops as long as they are cooperative!

“Michelle took great care of our doggos Angus and Ozzy. She made sure they were fed and gave Ozzy his daily meds as well. She hung out with them while they had some playtime outside. This was our first time leaving our dogs home alone and Michelle made sure they did great and were comfortable. I'd recommend Michelle for anyone looking for help watching their dogs.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Bolingbrook
All was in order when I returned home around 4:30. The dogs were let out around 9:30 a.m. and early afternoon. Jess texted just after 5 that she was preparing for the final check in of the day, but I replied that I’d returned home on schedule and the visit wouldn’t be necessary.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
