“Charlotte was a wonderful sitter and made me feel so comfortable throughout my trip away from my babies (w cats)! Will be booking again the next time I’m away.”

“We have used Vanessa multiple times to do drop in visits for our 2 cats and 2 guinea pigs while we are on vacation. She always does a great job, communicates great, and the animals are well cared for. We will definitely use her again.”

“Ann is great with my little senior guy. He can be a bit finicky with strangers but warmed up to her quickly. We are very grateful for her flexible schedule and great communication!”

About: I had the same dog since I was 9 years old, who passed away a year ago due to cancer. Now that I don’t have him with me, I’d love to show your dog the same attention as I wish I could give mine! Whether that be walks, cuddles, or some extra attention, I’d be more than willing to help! Trust me when I say I’d be just as happy to see your dog, as they will be to see me! I work an 8 am to 4 pm job during the week. On a weekday I’d be willing to see your dog before work, after work, or evenings! And have open availability on the weekends for any time! I will always pay attention to what your dog needs while you’re not there. This includes fill water bowls, food if needed, clean their paws after walks, and change pee pads if needed! I have experience with cleaning up pet waste accidents inside the home and I will always clean up their toys before I go so it’s tidy when you come back!

“Juliana was absolutely amazing with my three high energy, rambunctious, dogs. They need a lot of special handling and she was flexible with my requests and they had a great time with her. She sent wonderful updates after each drop-in with pictures and summaries of their behaviors and time spent with her. I will definitely use her again anytime I need someone to watch my pets!”

About: Animal and Pet Experience: I currently volunteer weekly at a cat shelter where I interact with and take care of a wide range of cats. I absolutely adore working there and have always been an animal lover! I've owned and taken care of a variety of pets throughout my life, including cats, dogs, gerbils, and at one point in my adolescence, a toad. I love and am capable of taking care of a wide range of animals. All of the cats I grew up with had feline leukemia, leading them to require extra care and medication. I am known for being very gentle and patient, and will give your beloved pet lots of attention, care, and cuddles. :) Flexibility/Location/Hours: I am very flexible in terms of pricing, hours, location, and last-minute bookings or cancellations. I know how chaotic life can be and how valuable flexibility is, especially when it comes to the care of our pets. I am willing to negotiate, make adjustments as needed, and will prioritize the best and most stress-free experience for you and your pets. General Qualities: I am a very fast learner, rule-follower, and problem-solver, and will not hesitate to communicate or ask questions if I have them. I want nothing but the best possible experience for you, the owner, and your beloved pets, as I know how much value they bring to a household. I am always happy and quick to communicate if you have any questions or concerns. I promise your furry friend is in good hands! I am currently in the market for an animal-related job, and I am waiting to hear back from several dog kennels and pet stores. In the meantime, Rover is my priority for income and further animal experience. On Monday nights, from 6-8 pm, I typically have a prior commitment, but it can easily be adjusted or joined virtually. For now, animal care and pet-sitting are my number one priority. I do not offer pet sitting at my home, but I am very flexible in terms of location and hours to do what is best for your pet at your own home. I can provide additional treats and toys if allowed or preferred, and will prioritize the safety and care of your pet. I will follow the rules and schedule that are provided and will update you with any questions, concerns, or updates. My main priority is providing safe, stress-free, reliable care that is personalized for your household and pet to your standards and expectations.
“Heather was so great with my cats. One of them is pretty shy and he even came out for her for some pets! Heather was really communicative and responsive. I would definitely use her services again.”

“Amanda is great! She is quick to respond to messages, on time for her visits, and overall easy to work with. She followed my instructions beautifully. My puppy really seemed to like her and so did my three cats! I will be hiring her again. Thanks Amanda!”

“Christopher was wonderful and reliable with our kitty. Our cat takes awhile to warm up to others and his patience was rewarded with her trust. It was great to know she was in good hands while we were away.”

“Stephanie is great! She’s goes above and beyond for your pets and their safety. Our remote garage closer wasn’t working so she drove back to manually close it. Extremely grateful for her professionalism and kindness.”

“We asked Dawn to visit our 4 dogs twice a day three times a week. Dawn was great to work with. She was flexible with our odd schedule and all the dogs were very comfortable with her. This was a true pack of four very different dogs. I highly recommend working with her.”

“Bradlei was quick in her responses to my request and was willing to take my request on such short notice. She asked the right questions and even took notes during our meeting to ensure as little discomfort to kitty as possible while I was out. Her updates were timely and clear, and she took initiative to take care of an unexpected sickness/clean up that we had not discussed beforehand.”

“This was our first experience with Rover and Wade was great! Super communicative and completed the visits exactly as expected. The kids loved getting daily photos of the kittens while we were away, would definitely work with Wade again!”

“Rebecca did a great job watching our cats while we were on vacation. She was very thorough when she came over to meet them ahead of time and asked great questions. She sent us plenty of pictures and cute descriptions of her visits. Our 2 cats were clearly at east with her, and managed giving one of them pills as well (honestly, better than we were!). Thanks, Rebecca!”

Meredith was fantastic! My cat can be very shy, but from all the pictures she took, it’s clear Meredith was able to quickly get her out of her shell and enjoying herself during her visits. Meredith was very reliable and adaptable as well, helping me deal with a prolonged power outage due to heavy storms. I can’t recommend her enough!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
