In the few minutes we spent talking I sensed a deep caring for her dogs and a pragmatic view of dog behavior when welcoming a new dog to the pack. Tess checked in every day but from the first photo, I knew Ellie was calm and at ease. Ellie was happy and needed no period of adjustment upon returning home. That's a big tell with Ellie. I was super anxious about boarding my dog for a night because she’s never been boarded before but I was so relieved when I found Laina. I genuinely was so thrilled and relaxed for my dog to be able to stay with her and her husband. They are such kind people and do such a great job communicating. They truly make sure that your dog is looked after and will feel as comfortable as possible. I would 100% book again with them.
Kimberly was absolutely wonderful! Dorothy had the best weekend with her. She was able to pick Dorothy up from our hotel on pretty short notice, which was such a huge help. Kimberly was so caring and attentive, kept us updated with pictures and videos. We also loved knowing that Dorothy got to sleep inside Kimberly's room, which made us feel like she was truly being treated like family. We're so happy we found Kimberly and will definitely book with her again the next time we're in Chicago. I highly recommend Brent to anyone looking for a caring and reliable person to watch their dog. He has a wonderful family, and it was clear that they all helped care for Paffin and made sure he was always surrounded by attention and company. Diana and Brian really hit it off with my boy Yukon. I received pictures and videos daily of Yukon having a good time. It was very obvious that this family had a lot of dog experience with many different types of dogs. Their back yard has a separate area fenced off for dogs that just want to be alone. Very professional.
