Dogs Need a Vacation Too!
Looking for someone trust worthy, dependable and responsible? Look no further. Throughout my childhood, our family always had a dog or two in the home. Since becoming an adult, I have always had dogs myself. We had a Chow and a Pit until last year when we lost one to old age and the other to a disease. My wife and I would like to travel for the next few years so we are putting off rescuing a new dog but would love to have your furbaby spend some time in our home. I am a volunteer at dog rescue organizations in Naperville and Ft Myers, FL. I have taken classes on proper dog walking and dog behavior. I would love the opportunity to pet sit for you and to ease your mind knowing your pet is in good hands

Scott has been taking care of Ted for years! We always trust that he’s getting the best care possible!

Ziggy had another great weekend stay at Scott's. His wife and he are wonderful. I always receive daily pictures and updates. I know my little Yorkie is being well cared for whenever he stays with Scott.

Ziggy had another great overnight stay with Scott!

Scott and Barb did a great job watching my little Yorkie over Thanksgiving. Scott sent numerous pictures with updates, and I knew Ziggy was having a great time. I highly recommend Scott. He's awesome!

We’ve lost count how many times we’ve had Scott and Barb take care of Buster! They treat our senior dog like family and it shows! Thank you for always taking care of ours as your own

Calendar and availability
Schedule
Since I am retired with a flexible schedule, I am readily available to provide attention and exercise throughout the day. I am a very active person and enjoy taking walks and playing with dogs.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I live in a very safe and dog friendly neighborhood. I have a large backyard that backs up to a large open field that is a perfect spot to run around and play in. For night time, I am OK with the dog sleeping wherever they want or you can bring a crate/kennel for your dog if you wish.
A typical day
Weather permitting, I like to take dogs to Whalon Lake and walk around the lake giving the dog the opportunity to take in a bunch of new smells.
