About: I have always grown up with dogs and have always been an animal lover since a little kid!! My experience ranges from 2+ years working as a veterinary assistant, to working at a dog daycare for a little over 2 years, and volunteering at an animal shelter for 4 years! About: I welcome dogs from just one household at a time, so your dog—or pair of dogs—gets plenty of individual attention in a relaxed home environment, with a fenced yard and my friendly Bichon, Apple, for company. I've been a dog owner for 16 years, including two Shih Tzus who lived to 16 and 14, so I'm also very comfortable caring for senior dogs. Apple is extremely dog-friendly and enjoys dogs of many sizes, especially those around her size or somewhat larger. I want your dog to feel at home here. I'm happy to follow your normal feeding, sleeping and medication routines, and dogs are welcome on the furniture and beds. I also send plenty of photos and updates so you know how your dog is doing while you're away. I currently work from home, so I have plenty of time to care for your dogs (frequent potty breaks, walks as desired, etc.). Occasionally I will have to leave to run errands or meet with clients, but I am rarely gone for more than 2-3 hours. Days that I anticipate being away for more than 3 hours are marked as unavailable on my calendar. When I’m home, guest dogs are welcome to roam the house and fenced yard. If I need to be away briefly, I’m happy to follow whatever routine your dog is accustomed to. I do have several spare crates for smaller dogs if your dog is accustomed to using one, although I also have plenty of space for you to bring yours. I’m happy to work with each owner to maintain their dog's normal overnight routine.

“Nicole was nothing short of amazing with my dog Penny while I was away for a weekend trip. She had a genuine interest to learn about Penny and her needs/requirements, I got pictures every few hours, she took her on a few lovely walks, and her family members even got to know and like her. Overall it seemed like they had a great weekend together. I definitely left Penny in perfect hands!”

“This was Benji's first time with Pennie and it went really well. Pennie was great with Benji and I was comfortable leaving him with her. The meet and greet went well and Benji and her dog got along. She sent pictures and kept me posted on how Benji was doing over the course of the stay. We did an overnight as a trial to see how Benji adjusted and will use Pennie again for dog boarding.”

“Justine was extremely generous with her time and provided a safe and loving environment for our senior dog who is 15 years old and blind. I did not want our dog to be in a setting with too many other dogs which would make him nervous and on top of that he takes medications. This was a family style setting and Justine and her family treated my dog like family. That’s the best quality experience you could ask for.”
