“Dana was wonderful! She took excellent care of my cat and was flexible with dates, which was super helpful. She asked all of the right questions beforehand and was also comfortable giving my cat medication. I’d definitely book with her again in the future!”
“So grateful for Mollie! She is such a comfort to our cats, giving us so much peace of mind. Can always trust her to be punctual and attentive. We greatly look forward to her photos and synopsis every night. Thank you Mollie!!”

“Peyton has done a wonderful job watching my cat twice now, and I will definitely book her again for any future needs! She followed directions perfectly and I loved getting the pictures everyday. I can tell my cat is very comfortable around her! She is a great sitter!”

“Joan was excellent caring for our car Opel. She was very communicative giving us feedback on how Opel was doing and responding to our questions. Opel was very well taken care of!”

“Rachel did an amazing job taking care of our cat while we were out of the country for our wedding! She was very informative in her after visit recaps and provided good pictures. Will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Amanda was excellent! She was very responsive setting up the appointments, and since it was her first time with my cats she did a thorough video call beforehand so she knew the ins and outs. My cats are shy but she made a point of ensuring she had a visual on both before she left. Diligently cleaned the litter box and also as a bonus cleaned up some vomit (sorry again and thank you!). Would definitely use Amanda again and recommend! Thank you!!”

“This was the second time that we had Jessica watch our two cats and she was wonderful again! Great with communication and she took fantastic care of our kitties. Once again, highly recommend her if you need someone to care for your pets!”

“Kelly did a great job taking care of our kitties while we were out of town. She is super sweet and took the time to make sure all of our kitties needs were met. I plan to use her services again in the future.”

“Madison is the best! My dog Chico loves her more than me bc she’s so friendly and loves dogs. She is reliable, communicative and very caring with my pup. Could not be more happy!”

“Ellie was fantastic and did so well with our kitties. They warmed up to her so much quicker than they normally do with strangers. She made sure to play with them to get their energy out and gave very thorough updates everyday. I would definitely recommend her if you want someone who passes the kitty vibe check.”

“Jordan was phenomenal, even when faced with some unexpected challenges! She does a great job communicating and being flexible. I will definitely have her watch my cats again!”

“We used Dawanna as a pet sitter for our kitties overnight on 4/19 and she did a phenomenal job. We met with her two days before the sitting and after the meeting, we felt confident that our cats would be safe with her. On the day of the sitting, she arrived on time. While we were gone, she sent pictures and videos throughout the day. She sent a video of herself playing with one of our cats. She followed instructions to the letter and we are very appreciative. She made sure the litter boxes were clean when we returned. She also kindly left us a nice thank you card for entrusting our cats to her care, and she left treats and toys for the cats on the kitchen counter. We will definitely be using her services again.”
“Vic is an excellent choice for house sitting, dog walking and drop-in visits. I am a repeat customer on all fronts. Part of the reason we've asked Vic to come back is his attention to detail and the care he took with our dog and with our home. He handled every detail with care. The first time we asked Vic to sit it was because our Mini Daschund had hurt her back/hind legs and had multiple meds to take multiple times a day and couldn't exert herself, which I didn't trust to happen at a boarding location. Our dog also is high maintenance in her routines which is why I usually board her. But Vic took all of Bella's quirks and needs in stride and made sure she was well care for and happy. He was even willing to help us change the food in our snail enclosure. If there was a question or an issue he let us know promptly but I also trust Vic implicitly to make decisions without asking me. He also went above and beyond when we were away and the power went out at his house and there was storm damage nearby so he checked on ours and kept us in the loops as to what was happening. I can't say enough good things about the care and attention Bella received and how confident I felt that my house and dog were in capable hands.”
About: I have had pets my entire life, and I have relatives and friends who currently care for pets professionally on Rover. So now that I'm retired from a long-time teaching and first responder career, with their encouragement I am following their lead and looking for a way to stay busy and useful -- while taking advantage of my love of cats and dogs! I currently have two dogs of my own (a pittie and a labradoodle), along with a long-suffering husband, five grown children and two grandchildren. Over my lifetime I have had dozens of dogs, cats, fish and even a rodent or two. My last two cats died a few years back at the ages of 16 and 18, and I miss them too much to get more. But that also means I have more patience and love available to give scritches, pets, food, treats, and anything else your dog or cat wants. I'll clean up any reasonable mess (I'll emphasize the word "reasonable" lol) and I'm happy to decon after puppies and kittens. I am happy to clean the occasional litter box. I can't walk large dogs anymore due to a bad back, but I'm totally able to supervise backyard play, apply a leash/collar/lead, and sternly use my "grandma voice" when necessary. Cats can be clawed or declawed, doesn't matter to me, as long as you warn me what might create a "clawing" offense in their mind :) I'm not a housesitter and don't do overnights. But I will happily stop by your home at night if needed, whether it's dinnertime, midnight or before sunrise. I prefer homes with security cameras to prevent any misunderstandings and assure your total satisfaction with your pet's safety. I will take pictures of all visits, including any extra details you may desire. I am retired and other than occasionally watching my grandkids, I have more free time than I know what to do with. I have worked since I was 14 and I don't do downtime well. So it works into my routine just fine, with the occasional day off for a vacation or appointment. I offer scritches, pets, food, treats, and anything else you tell me your dog or cat wants. “Bryn was great. She took great care of our girl Sabrina while we were away for 9 days, as well as watering the plants, and taking in the mail. We highly recommend Bryn to anyone looking for someone to visit their pets.”

“Angela was absolutely AMAZING. She was so helpful, and did the absolute most to make me feel like our animals had the best care. I loved seeing the updates she sent me, and knowing that everything was going so well why we were away. She stayed and actually played with my dogs, and even helped me with my garden. We will absolutely be using Angela again, and couldn't recommend more!”

Lisle cat parents share their Rover experiences
Katherine was such an amazing help for our anxious attachment kitty, Gwen! My husband and I went on vacation for a week, and we were worried that Gwen would starve herself like she did on our last vacation. Katherine gave us daily updates and pictures of Gwen. Gwen even ate all her food under Katherine's care! I highly recommend booking with Katherine!
