“Audrey is a great cat sitter. She is great with my cat, very responsive, meticulous with how she enters and leaves the home, and super thorough with photos and updates. 100% recommend her!”

“Peyton was so great with our kitties! They loved seeing her while we were out of town and came out of their shells with her calm demeanor. Thank you so much, Peyton! Will 100% rebook when leaving town in the future!”

“Joan took care of my cat while I was out of the country on vacation. Tessa can be a really anxious cat who struggles with changes in routine. Additionally, I have pretty bad anxiety about leaving her for extended periods of time but was able to enjoy myself on my trip with no problems! Joan was really thorough when we were going over Tessa's routine and kept me updated via the app while I was gone daily! The pictures were really helpful for me and my family and we loved getting them! Joan was also helpful in terms of helping my grandmother who stayed behind which was a wonderful bonus! Tessa was left in really good hands and was a happy cat when I got back! Definitely going to be using Joan's services again in the future, 10/10 would recommend :)!”

“Jess always leaves plenty of photos and writes up plenty of detail of how the kitties are doing, how a picky eater did, etc. the girls genuinely seem to like her and interact with her. A real gem of a find”

“Stephanie is so very good with my 2 cats. She has worked with Ollie during her time caring for my cats and gotten him over being shy! He is a 4 year old cat so that is not small feat. I am very pleased with her care for my cats and am thankful that I found her!”

“I could not be happier with the services Jordan provided. She was extremely kind, loving, and thorough with her visits. It was my first time leaving my dog with someone through Rover while going out of town and Jordan made it so that I truly didn’t have to worry about a thing. Her pictures and report outs of each visit were very thoughtful and informative, and let me know my dog was in great hands :) Will definitely be using Jordan again!”

“Christine is amazing with our puppy and has made us feel so comfortable leaving her in her care. She has been reliable, communicative, and gives us great updates after the visit, which gives us so much peace of mind. It is clear that she genuinely cares about our puppy and treats her like her own! We also have changing work schedules a lot which she has been very flexible with which is much appreciated! Could not recommend her enough!”

“Ashley was the first Rover sitter we used, and we are so happy with the service she provided. She gave us detailed notes about each visit. She sent pics of each cat every day, so I knew they were ok. She brought in the mail and took out the garbage. I would definitely hire her again.”

“We needed someone to drop by the house and let our 2 big dogs out for several days and wanted to give Rover a try. I met with Stephanie beforehand and exchanged a house key. She was courteous, respectful and responsible! I highly recommend booking with Stephanie! She sent daily pics of the dogs and gave a glowing review of their behavior and how her visit went. This made me so happy that they were well taken care of while I was away. I was reassured that my dogs were in great hands and that Stephanie was capable of handling these bullies. Thank you a million!”

“First time using rover for drop in visits and was a bit anxious to have someone in my apartment, but everything went perfectly. I got photos of my kitty playing every day and came home to her having full food and water + key where discussed.”

“Luis was very professional and punctual. Left good and personable notes and plenty of photos. I felt that Luis was genuine and really cared for my pet and I wasn’t worried at all while I was away for four days.”

“Amanda saved the day when we had a sitter back out. She was flexible and took wonderful care of our dogs while we were away by visiting. She sent some of the best photos we have of our dogs. They were well cared for and we will definitely trust Amanda again in the future!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Lisle
This was my first experience with Rover and it was definitely a positive experience. I was in the hospital for surgery and Joan put my mind completely at ease concerning the care of my three cats. I liked her the first time I met her; very friendly, kind, anxious to do all she could for my cats, established an immediate rapport with my cat Patrick. She was so consistant with texting me and keeping me up to date on my furbabies; she was also so good about sending me pictures which really made me smile and offered reassurance. My cats seemed so happy and content and well cared for when I returned home. Joan was a Godsend and I am so grateful for her. I can't thank you enough, Joan.
Dayna did a great job of cat sitting/visiting my cat Corbin. Since this was my first time using a Cat sitter, I was a little nervous. But Dayna kept me posted with pictures and texts during her visits and I was able to enjoy my time away with no worry. Corbin gave her a 4 Paws UP !!!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Lisle. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
