“Bill and his wife recently took care of my granddog Bogey. Bill took extraordinary care of Bogey. He has a beautiful pet friendly home fenced in backyard. Bogey became best buddies with their dog Frankie. I would highly recommend them and we will definitely use your services again!”

“We had to leave our 4 yr old golden doodle boy with Matthew & Michelle for a week. This was his very first time without our company since he was brought home from the breeder 4 years ago. We were pretty worried if he could adjust himself to an absolutely new environment. But we were relieved with the care that Matthew & Michelle provided to our baby. First of all, they provided us a very flexible time to drop off and pick up, and then sent us the updates and photos every day. They allowed him to freely stay anywhere in the house just the way how he does at his own home. They walked him couple times a day, played with him in their backyard with his favorite toy, took him to the Memorial Day parade, allowed him to lay next to them while they were working, and gave him new toys to play. We could tell easily that how comfortable Simba felt staying with Matthew & Michelle! Thank you so much Matthew & Michelle for your excellent job on taking care of Simba! We are so grateful that we found you as Simba’s first sitter! Will definitely ask for your help watching Simba in the future! THANK YOU!!!”

“Darrilyn was so amazing & accomodating for our Max! We had our wedding weekend up in Naperville & wanted Max to be a part of our special day, & Darrilyn was so flexible with our schedule! Max came home so happy & tired after all his fun there! She sent fun pictures during his stay which helped ease my mind!”

“Wayne did a wonderful job. His daily photos really exemplified how comfortable she was at his house with her new furry friends while we were away for a week. We will definitely use Wayne’s services again and highly recommend him!”

“Nicole did a great job taking care of our greyhound! She listened closely to all of our instructions and sent tons of pics so that we knew our pup was doing well. Will definitely book her again for future trips!”

“Ashley was responsive and sent pictures of kylo! He came home tired but well taken care of. Even after flights were delayed so long, Ashley had her husband bring Kylo out to us and I appreciate that so much.”

“Christina and her family were the perfect house for our 8 month old puppy. They were amazing with him and Charlie and their dog became fast friends. We are grateful to have found a home we trust when we go out of town. Highly recommend Christina!”

“Our golden doodle was so loved and well taken care of with Courtney and her family! They have dog-living children who are the perfect ages to take care of dogs. Her own dogs were there too, and our pup got along great with them. He was picked up and dropped off in a brand new car! This was such a convenience for us. Each day we received pictures of our happy guy in their home. We had all the confidence even before we met, that Courtney was going to be an excellent dog sitter. We will be using her again and again!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Justine! Her love for animals is very evident. She is wonderful with communication and sent pictures and updates every day. She was also very accommodating with a few last minute changes that we made. I highly recommend Justine and Brett!”

“Our dog Taco LOVES staying with Tyler and how wife (and their two dogs). They are incredibly accommodating and have gone the extra mile to make our pup feel like he's part of their family. Taco is always so excited to go to their home, and you can tell they've created a bond. I know our dog is being cared for AND that he's having a blast. We're so grateful for Tyler and his family! 100% recommend”

“Our dog Marty had a wonderful stay at Maria’s house. He was all smiles when we picked him up. I would recommend Maria to anyone who likes their dog to have fun interacting with other dogs.”

“Lucy stayed with Amanda & Anton while we went on a vacation for a week. Lucy seemed very happy and was well cared for. It was so nice to receive photos and updates. Thank you!”

“Kelly and her adorable family took such good care of my puppy. I had to travel for work. I had a challenging week and Kelly’s pictures of her cute kids loving on my dog really buoyed my spirits. Thank you for being McLovin’s replacement family for a week! Any dog would be lucky to come live with you guys!”

“Michelle did a wonderful job caring for my puppy, Mabel. She was an excellent communicator, kept me updated and sent the cutest photos throughout Mabel's stay. As anyone with a puppy knows, they can be full of energy and a little chaotic at times, but Michelle handled Mabel's craziness with patience and confidence.”

About: I've taken care of pets ever since I was a kid. When I was in high school, my family hosted dogs of all sizes, including one of my favorites, a Burnese Mountain Dog named Ruby. Lately I've had the chance to watch my brother's two dogs (as seen in my bio pics) when he travels. I work a semi-active full time job over the week, with plenty of energy to spare when I'm not working. I am fully available over the weekends from Friday evening straight through to Sunday! I also am free on weekdays for walks or drop-ins as long as it's before 7:30 am or after 5 pm. Your dog will stay in a cozy, smoke-free condo where they are welcome on the furniture and bed. While I don't have a yard, I love taking long, frequent walks around the neighborhood. For their comfort and safety, I host one family at a time and ask that owners provide the dog's preferred bed or crate if possible
“Elizabeth was simply amazing! Exceptional communicator, loved the pictures, made sure our mothers warm and cared for in an extra special way! Hands down, first class experience!”

“Heather and Israel were great - always responsive, let us know how things were going and our pup was adapting while we were gone for the weekend. Our flight was cancelled and they were so kind to watch our pup an extra night and be flexible with the pickup time. Our pup had so much fun and we will definitely use them again!”

“Brittany was a fantastic dog sitter for our pup, Penny! She sent a bunch of photos, took Penny along on her family's outing to a farm and on trail walks, treated her when her nail fell off, and just was so caring to Penny. We honestly could not have asked for a better experience. Penny was loved and cared for and we are so thankful for that!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Lisle
Ashley and family were great! They were organized and thorough with understanding our dog’s needs and personality. They sent updates both when I requested and at additional times unsolicited to keep me in the know. They are experienced and adept at caring for multiple dogs at once. I would definitely use Ashley again!

Alexandria went above and beyond while watching our dog! It's obvious how much she loves dogs and that she's very attentive and responsible. Never worried about our dog for a second while we were gone, could tell she was having a great time from all the pics. We'll be back!

Danielle is amazing! This was my dog’s second time staying with her. She is very good with all the dogs she has in her home, taking them for walks and letting them play in her backyard. She was great when my flight got cancelled and I had to ask if my dog could stay an extra night, she said no problem! I have felt at ease both times my dog stayed with her!

Deb is amazing! We have a very active Vizsla and she had the best time at her house while we were on vacation!! Deb sent updates and pictures throughout the time Nora was with her- I was so comfortable and relieved knowing how well cared she was while we were gone. She goes above and beyond with the care she provides. Nora was lucky enough to have other dogs her size (and energy) to play with while she was there, and came home a happy and tired girl! Definitely recommend Deb and am so happy to have sound the best sitter for our dog! Thank you Deb!

Jean and Al were wonderful pet sitters for Gus and Stella during our 10-day vacation. We felt completely at ease knowing they were being cared for so well. Gus is a special needs dog and needs extra attention, including medication, and Jean and Al went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable, cared for, and had everything he needed. They also sent us photos of both dogs every day, which we really appreciated. It was obvious from the pictures that Gus and Stella were relaxed, happy, and getting plenty of love from Jean, Al, and their family. When we picked them up, both dogs seemed happy and completely comfortable, which told us everything we needed to know. We’re very grateful for the care they gave Gus and Stella and would absolutely use them again the next time we travel.

I'm so grateful to Candy and Charlie for hosting Molly for her first long stay away from home! Molly is uneasy in new environments, but she immediately warmed up to Candy and Charlie during our initial meet and greet. They treated her with love and kindness, so it was a huge relief to me to see her enjoying her stay. Candy and Charlie will always be my Rover sitter of choice for Molly!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
