This was a great opportunity for us to meet her sweet pup Brydie. Both Dogs hit off from the start and I knew this was a good opportunity for our pup, Marshmallow to have a friend to play with while we are out of town. We had fears about Marshmallow running off but Christina took good care of her. She sent us pictures while we were on vacation on was very easy to work with. “I highly recommend Kim. From the meet and greet, we knew Leila, our 12 year old Havanese, will be happy and safe. Kim and her kids are pet lovers. The moment we parked our car, and as soon as her kids saw Leila, they hugged and played with her, so adorable. Kim would send photos every few hours, which I appreciate. “We had to fly out of town unexpectedly and with our daughters out of town, were panicking about who could take care of our4-legged family member. She's a 14 yr old Std Schnauzer who has back problems (in spite of major surgery a year ago). So we needed her in a situation where the caregiver could understand her challenges with stairs so she didn't risk further damage. Having used Rover years ago, I came back online. After reading a lot of reviews, Isabel stood out for great reviews, return clients and excellent experience. She was more than we had hoped for. She FaceTimed me and showed how she ensures their are no issues as new dogs join the household - gates dividing areas, she understood that sometimes dogs need a 'break' from others, lots of different bed types for them to choose to lie on. THEN she was very accommodating about did we want to drop off or for a nominal fee, she could pick her up. I was impressed with everything she did (& her understanding of dogs' needs) and on top of it, she sent us more photos and videos than we needed BUT credit to her as she wanted us to see how our girl was eating well, getting along (sleeping with) the different dogs. Also, great shock to us, but no issues with her cat (which she will restrict to upstairs if dogs are not cat friendly). Don't know if our girl thought she was just another dog due to her relaxed demeanor or whether she just decided to be chill with her. Denise is an excellent pup caregiver! She is knowledgeable about dog care and did execptionally well with our puppymill rescue Maggie who is usually very timid and shy. Maggie took to Denise right away and was kissing her hand and going to her for pets and ear rubs during our meet and greet. Maggie's tale was wagging in the update photos sent and she ate and took her meds without any issues. I highly recommend Denise and will definitely use her again!
Have boarded my border collie Fern with Linda and her family several times and they always take great care of her, including administering her meds, are extremely responsive to messaging, and are very organized when it comes to a dog's care needs. Fern is always very happy at drop-off, so I know she loves the stay.
Our 9-year-old corgi had a blast with Frances and Happy over a 2-week stay at their home! Frances was great with daily photos and videos as well as general communication about our pup. And our corgi absolutely loved the social interaction and play she got with Happy—it was definitely a vacation for her as well. Thanks again to Frances, Happy, and their family for taking such good care of our corgi!
Winnie had a great time with Karen and her family. This was Winnie’s first time during one of the coldest spells in January but he stayed warm and still got his outside time. He was treated as a part of the family and I could tell that he was able to sleep well since he resumed his normal daytime activities with me without total exhaustion. I’ve found a real home for him so that I can resume traveling without the guilt and worries that accompany leaving him.
So grateful to have found elizabeth via rover. She was so good with my pup ella and expressed how happy she would be to watch her again. Nothing makes me feel as comforted about a sitter then knowing they genuinely love and care about your pups too. Elizabeth is very evidently a dog lover and an amazing sitter. She even did a little Christmas photo shoot for my pup (how cute). Grateful to have found someone I can trust with my pup.
