“Michelle and her family took excellent care of my nervous pup. She went above and beyond making him comfortable, giving him lots of walks, and even gave him a bath when he needed it. Would definitely book again!”

“Barbara was awesome! Unfortunately I booked with a different sitter who subsequently stated she could not watch my dog (Bailey) less than 24 hours after I dropped her off. The sitter stated Bailey was barking frantically and subsequently cancelled shortly before I was supposed to board my international flight with my family early the following morning. For Bailey to be barking frantically is unlike Bailey. Rover subsequently reached out to several sitters on my behalf while I was on my flight and described Bailey as having “separation anxiety” because of what the other sitter stated and “needing plenty of attention and play time”. Unlike to how Bailey was described, Bailey doesn’t bark much and has a calm temperament. My whole flight my family and I were wondering what would happen with Bailey in reference to how she was being described and if she’d be in good hands. Barbara fortunately volunteered for the job and her and I texted briefly while still on my flight because she wanted to know more about Bailey. I advised her that the manner in which the other sitter was describing Bailey was out of character. Barbara subsequently volunteered to pickup Bailey from the other sitter. Once Barbara was with Bailey she sent me a picture and reassured me Bailey was in good hands. Barbara would routinely send me pictures on updates of Bailey throughout the days we were gone. Additionally, Barbara gave Bailey her medicine twice daily for her ear infection. Barbara was great and I would recommend her services.”

“Sarah was excellent! She sent us photos and updates of our dog Gus while we were out of the country for two weeks. She was understanding and able to care for our senior dog with special needs. Would highly recommend!”

“This was our first time leaving our pup for more than a few days and needless to say we were only a little tightly wound about it. But Shirley made us feel like we could breathe on our travels and actually be present in the moments. Not only did she keep him loved and cared for, but she was the ultimate documentarian, showering us with plenty of pics and videos to never feel left out. I would highly recommend Shirley for any pet care taking needs, and would love to have her watch Kaito again.”

“We are so grateful to have found a trusted caregiver for Wiggles! Tamara is so incredibly nice and flexible when we had an unforeseen circumstance change our plans. Wiggles had such a good time playing with her friends, we were worried she was disappointed to come home! Thank you Tamara, Maggie, and Paulie!”

“Janeth is wonderful! She took such great care of our little one like she was her own. Communication was great all throughout the week and we enjoyed getting regular updates on all the fun she was having! Will definitely rebook with Janeth - highly recommend!”

“Many thanks to Phyllis and her husband for taking great care of our two dogs. They are great — very responsive, professional and loving! We look forward to seeing them at the end of the month when we are at a wedding!”

“Christina took care of our 5 month old puppy, Mocha, and gave us the best updates while we were out of town :) We’re very grateful to have found a home where Mocha is taken care of and has another dog to play with! Definitely would recommend Christina to anyone we know.”

“Second time with Judith and as always - didn’t disappoint and Atlas runs to her! He loves Judith! She is extremely flexible! When I had an early morning flight, Judith was willing to let me drop Atlas off in the middle of the night on my way to the airport. She was super accommodating and as always thoughtful, making Atlas a friendship bracelet! 🥹”

“Angelina was phenomenal with my older, sweet but anxious pup. She was very gentle with him and understood the needs of an older dog well. She took her time acclimating him to his environment and the other pups. She sent many sweet pics and messages, knowing I was a little nervous about how he’d do, because he hadn’t been with a sitter for some time. Angelina is a wonderful sitter and a kind, loving soul. I was completely at ease knowing my pup was in good hands and we’ll surely he booking with her again. So happy to have found such a gem of a sitter. Thank you, Angelina!”

About: I have had the privilege of loving and caring for dog(s) since I was 5 years old. I have raised dogs since they were 6 week old puppies until their final days. I am organized with medication distribution if needed and can follow any cute quirks your baby may need to have that extra attention to detail for them to feel safe and loved. I work full time Monday to Friday from 8 am-4:30 pm. I am available evening hours during the work week and all day on weekends! I have a 3 year old Shetland Sheepdog named Bowie. His brother, Milo, passed away last year, who was my baby since he was 6 weeks old. I would love to take your dog for walks, feed, play, and spend time with your companion. I believe in positive reinforcement for teaching dogs tricks and behavior training.
“Bailey is a caring, knowledgeable and experienced pet owner and caretaker. Freddy was well-cared for and I was sent several photos during the day to let me know how he was doing. Bailey was sensitive in incorporating Freddy into her pack of two dogs. I felt very comfortable and confident that Freddy was well cared for. Thank you!”

“The number one destination for Aegon when we travel without him is Katherine and her crew. He’s practically part of the family and I hope we’ll have the pleasure of being repeat customers for many years to come.”

“Matt and Michelle took great care of our 2.5 year old Mae again! They treated her like family and she had a great frolicking with their family dogs and visiting guest dogs. Very accommodating with some minor changes to our plans. Thank you!”

“So happy we found Linda and her family! They were so laid back and calm--we really sensed that they were comfortable with dogs. They understood that dogs, like people, aren't perfect. We got updates and pictures every day, and the family members really seemed to enjoy having our dogs as guests for the week. Can't wait to book another stay with Linda! I hate to leave a glowing review because we don't want Linda to be booked up when we need her, but a job well done deserves the recognition. Thank you, Linda and family!!”

“Eniya was so wonderful. She took great care of King as if he were her own. She communicated everyday sending pictures and videos. I was at ease knowing that he was in such good hands. I highly recommend her and will definitely be booking her again when I need. Thank you so much Eniya!”

“Angelica was great! It’s always a bit stressful finding someone to care for a senior dog, but I was very comfortable leaving my senior with Angelica - she’s very experienced with all ages and dogs and provided a perfect dog friendly home.”

“Our boy with separation anxiety came back from Kayla’s in much better shape than when he is boarded(not that they do anything wrong). Kayla responds quickly to any questions we have, and always keeps us updated with pictures! We would definitely be happy to send our guy to Kayla again.”

“Amazing! My doggy’s were so happy. One of my dogs had a cone and he was extra cared for it was really appreciated! The dogs came home with a goodie bag and everything. Will definitely book again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Western Springs
We had a wonderful experience with Janeth! She sent me daily photos and updates, which gave our family so much peace of mind while we were away. From the pictures, it was obvious how much love and attention our dog was getting—there were hugs, kisses, playtime outside, and a very happy pup in every photo. What really stood out was her flexibility and kindness when our return flight was cancelled and rebooked for the next day due to weather. She graciously cared for our dog an extra day without hesitation. She even provided her door code so we could pick him up at a time that worked with our delayed travel schedule. It’s clear she truly cares about the dogs she watches, and we never had to worry while we were gone. We highly recommend her and will absolutely use her again!

My dog is scared of just about everything - and everyone - so leaving her with someone new made me nervous. On top of being scared of her shadow, she's a one-year-old pup... she has some endless energy! I felt at ease as I received updates and pictures throughout the stay and felt like my pup was in good hands. During a tornado warning, Melissa went above and beyond. My dog is terrified of stairs, and her family actually carried her down the stairs to the basement to keep her safe with them. Most importantly, my dog came home happy. I'm grateful for the care, patience, and kindness Melissa (and family) showed my girl. I would book with her again :-)

Our dog, Waffles, has been staying with Regan for over 5 years and he always has the best time! Regan is wonderful to work with and we know that Waffles is always well taken care of and having a great time when he’s there. She’s our go to anytime we can’t bring him on our adventures!

Holly and her family immediately welcomed Lincoln into their home and made sure he felt comfortable during his stay. Holly sent us lots of updates and made sure we knew how our boy was doing. Would highly recommend and Lincoln hopes he can visit again. He especially loved his playtime with Holly’s pups Layla and Piper☺️

Selene took wonderful care of our dog, Peanut! She sent us daily pictures and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear Peanut was happy and well cared for. We’re so grateful for her attentiveness and kindness, and we would absolutely trust her with Peanut again. Highly recommend!

Sandra was absolutely wonderful in taking care of Ellie! From our initial meeting to the final pickup, everything was seamless and stress-free. She kept us updated regularly with pictures and made sure Ellie was happy and comfortable throughout. We truly appreciate her care and attention. Thank you, Sandra—We will definitely use your service again!
I would highly recommend Danielle to take care of your pet. I was very nervous about boarding my dog, since I have never boarded a pet before. She was very accommodating to all of my dog’s specific needs. She also had a spacious home and a big beautiful backyard for my dog to enjoy. I believe she even spoiled my dog by letting my dog make herself at home on Daniel’s couch to sleep at night. Which I really appreciated Danielle is also great about sending pictures and lengthy updates. I would definitely board my dog with Danielle again as needed. I was able to enjoy my two week vacation, because I knew that my dog instantly liked Danielle and her home at our initial Meet and Greet. Like I said before, she is not only a nice person, but met all of my dog’s needs. Looking forward to boarding my dog again with Danielle in the future.

Zoe had great time with amazing family. I am so happy I was able to connect and find them through Rover. I was updated daily how Zoe was doing and also received pictures. We felt very comfortable to leave Zoe because we knew she will be well taken care of and loved. For future travels we will definitely reach out to them again.
