“We appreciate Jo’ Ell so much. She does an amazing job caring for our favorite fur baby! She updates us with photos and our pup always looks like he had the best time and looks forward to staying with her every time!”

“Many thanks to Phyllis and her husband for taking great care of our two dogs. They are great — very responsive, professional and loving! We look forward to seeing them at the end of the month when we are at a wedding!”

“Fabulous dog loving family! Great fenced in back yard and lots of hugs for Leo from the kids! We were very, very happy with how well Leo was taken care of while we were away. He was with Linda and her family for almost a whole week. Linda was great about sending me a picture of Leo's vacation each day. We really appreciate her willingness to work with our schedule and her prompt reply when we first inquired about having Leo stay with her. I highly recommend Linda to anyone looking to board their dog with a loving and attentive family. Thank you!”

“Groot had a great time with Michelle and her family. He was really cared for and had a fun time staying with them. We really appreciated the photos and updates throughout his stay. We would highly recommend Michelle and would definitely leave Groot in her care in the future.”

“Christina took care of our 5 month old puppy, Mocha, and gave us the best updates while we were out of town :) We’re very grateful to have found a home where Mocha is taken care of and has another dog to play with! Definitely would recommend Christina to anyone we know.”

“Sarah was great. She took very good care of my dog and cat and kept me updated with photos and recaps of their activities. She obviously loves animals and I felt my boys were very safe in her care--I recommend her highly.”

“I trusted Wayne with my two beloved bostons and he did not disappoint! He took really good care of them, kept me updated with photos, and my pups looked at home. Will definitely book him again!”

“Heather and Israel were great - always responsive, let us know how things were going and our pup was adapting while we were gone for the weekend. Our flight was cancelled and they were so kind to watch our pup an extra night and be flexible with the pickup time. Our pup had so much fun and we will definitely use them again!”

“Izzy is the best! Sometimes we’ve had to book overnight boarding last minute, but she has always been available for us which helps us so much. She’s so kind and truly loves our fur baby Pippen. When we drive up, our normally nervous pup gets so excited. We feel so lucky to have met her!”

“So grateful for Tamara and her pups! It’s a fun vacation for Wiggles every time she stays with them. Wiggles, unfortunately, wore a cone and itchy paws when we dropped her off and Tamara was so helpful making sure she had her medicine 2x a day and topical on Wiggles. When we returned, Wiggles was feeling so much better! 💖”

“From the meet and greet to the 6 nights Millie spent with Matthew and Michelle during our vacation, we felt completely comfortable leaving her in their care. They are both dog lovers and it definitely shows. Their home is set up beautifully to accommodate a few dogs at a time and they have an amazing back yard for running around and playing. They also took care to feed Millie her additional supplements during meal time. Millie came home exhausted from 6 days of fun. We received several pictures of Millie's adventures while we were gone which gave us all peace of mind that she was in good hands. We highly recommend Matthew and Michelle's care services. We will definitely be back for our future sitting needs.”

“Ingrida took WONDERFUL care of Josey who came back smelling fresh and clean and enjoyed her first big trip away! We certainly recommend Ingrida, we found her on short notice and she was happy to oblige. Thank you so much!”

“This is the third time we have used Jill and Nick and Niko had a great time! They have fabulous communication and send lots of pictures and Niko is well taken care of! We will definitely book with them again!”

“France’s was Awesome taking care of our Yeti. Sent daily photos and video. Having met her and her dog Happy in advance we knew our dogs would get along. We couldn’t be happier and have booked her again in a few weeks for a few days.”

About: I grew up with dogs, worked at PetSmart for many years, continued dog sitting professionally, and raised my own current dog, Gizmo, from 5 weeks old. I have gone through extensive training and I use that to help others with training issues when I can. I've been through various medical issues and found the appropriate care, including for a choking dog. I am an artist and like to photograph or draw they dogs I care for - have done separate pet portrait work not included with dog sitting. I like to try to really communicate with and understand each dog in their own circumstances. I have a dog park available just a short walk down the street. I have the ability to schedule working from home if needed. Typically, if you would like your dog to stay at my home, they will be sharing space with my dog, Gizmo. So please communicate if you need special consideration for alone time. I take walks or visit the dog park in the mornings. I typically work 10 to 6 Monday through Friday at an office, but can schedule days to work from home if a dog is staying and can not be left for a long period of time. My dog is Gizmo. He is okay with other dogs and will typically play a little outside and leave your dog to have their own space inside. You will need to discuss your situation with me if your dog needs alone time with me as I would need to address Gizmo's care under those circumstances. My house is on the smaller side, but the yard is fenced in and is reasonably sized. There is a dog door available to allow easy access to the yard. Dogs are allowed on couches and the bed in my home. I have one large crate if you would like your dog to use one. Each room can be closed off if separation is needed. If I am caring for a dog in another home, I need to take the same consideration for Gizmo. Please share your needs so we can adjust as necessary.
“Jessica couldn’t be any sweeter. We have a 12 year old Great Dane, and certainly no longer an easy dog to take care of (although sweet!) Jessica went above and beyond to make him comfortable and happy. So much so he didn’t want to leave!!! Not enough good things to say about Jessica, her husband, or Capone. Highly recommended 😍”

“Baily did an outstanding job taking care of our little Greta (6 years old pug/boston terrier mix rescue). She kept us updated on Greta's stay with her and it was obvious from the updates and accompanying photos that Greta was feeling right at home and being showered with affection by Baily.”

“Lisa and her family was amazing!! Probably the best sitter experience we have had on Rover! She sent us a lot of pics. Her kiddos took our dog on lots of walks and kept him busy (and feeling loved).”

Holly and her family immediately welcomed Lincoln into their home and made sure he felt comfortable during his stay. Holly sent us lots of updates and made sure we knew how our boy was doing. Would highly recommend and Lincoln hopes he can visit again. He especially loved his playtime with Holly’s pups Layla and Piper☺️

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
