“Katie has become my go to sitter and has watched my pup several times now. Initially I chose her because she is home during the day. My shih tzu has some anxiety issues when left alone but if someone is around he is generally pretty low maintenance. This last time, which was a longer stay (about a week) she really went above and beyond. Fergus got hurt the night before I was supposed to drop him with Katie. She was flexible in working with me to get him to the vet (I was able to fit it into my schedule before leaving town) and managing the meds he was given. The first few days I was gone he had a bad reaction to one of the meds that upset his stomach that caused him to not eat and subsequently get sick from not eating. Katie kept me updated every step of the way and was flexible as I talked to the vet and relayed their info. She also went out of her way to get my pups favorite food to help him to take his meds and eat his meals. By the time I got back, she had taken great care of him and he was clearly starting to feel better and act more himself. I am so glad he was someone I can trust and who was so communicative.”

About: I’ve been caring for cats since I was young, and they’ve always held a special place in my heart. My first cat-sitting experiences began at 12 years old, checking in on neighbors’ and family members’ cats, cleaning litter boxes, feeding, and spending quality time with them. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a child. At the age of 18 I started to watch family friends dogs in their homes while house sitting and they relied on me to keep everything going. About: I grew up with my family’s various rescue cats and dogs, so I’ve always been an animal lover. Since childhood, I’ve also enjoyed pet sitting for friends, family members, and neighbors whenever I’ve had the opportunity to do so. I’ve mainly looked after cats and dogs, but I also have experience caring for rabbits, guinea pigs, horses, and a couple of different types of lizards.
