About: I am a pet sitter and watch animals in my home. I sit for many lovely families in this area. We have cared for every kind of pet that you could imagine including dogs, birds, lizards, frogs and small fuzzy friends. I am a stay at home Mom who works from home and can provide your pet with constant attention and lots of belly rubs. We live on a quiet street with a large fenced in back yard.I support several dog rescues and animal shelters and I am a former docent with Lincoln Park zoo in Chicago. Your dog will be safe, happy and loved while you enjoy a worry-free vacation! We can send you updates via text message or email. This is a private home and we do not believe in crating dogs unless you feel it is necessary and provide your own crate. Otherwise your dog has the run of the house, just like in his own home. Your dog is welcome on the furniture and may sleep wherever they wish, with us, etc. We try to only book one to two dogs at a time. Daily walks included. All dogs must be housebroken (potty trained) and non-aggressive. If your dog requires medication, I am skilled at administering them. I am also trained in canine CPR as well as a canine first aid course. Due to the virus and a member of my family who is immunocompromised, I will not be holding meet and greets in my home, I am more than happy to chat with you outside. I can send you interior photos of my home, if you wish. Drop off and pick up, is between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. There are no drop offs or pickups on holidays, it would need to be the day before or after. Unfortunately we cannot accept dogs who chew furniture, have frequent accidents, wear diapers, or dogs that have separation anxiety. Thank you in advance, I am a stay-at-home mom who works from home, I am always here to keep your dog company and attend to his or her needs We care for dogs exactly as you would, we follow your schedule and your wishes exactly to the letter so that when your dog arrives home he is accustomed to your routine and nothing has changed.

“Andrea has been amazing! We normally book our dog at Top Dog where she goes to daycare, but felt a home would be more comfortable. She offered a phone call to go over everything in a lot of detail, from feeding to snacks to medications to behavior. We did a day time trial and she loved it! After that, we booked a 3 day stay with her. She kept us updated regularly with photos, and is very responsive to texts. Ellie loved playing fetch in her huge yard, and even came home with a toy she picked out. We will definitely use her again!”

“Suzy was fantastic! She was able to fit my two dogs in last minute for a daycare visit. They came home happy and tired. She kept in touch with me throughout the day with pictures and an update on how they were doing.”

“Jill and Nick were great with my golden! They booked on short notice and were great with providing updates and photos. Will definitely book them again!”

“Very happy to have found Kassandra, she’s very caring and I know my baby was very happy, and felt right at home while in her care. Definitely rebooking! Thanks Kassandra, see you soon.”

“Lauren is amazing! Sparky is a very anxious and clingy dog, but he did great with Lauren! Usually when Sparky is away from me, he doesn’t eat upon my return. This time when he got home from Lauren’s, he ate his dinner! I am so blessed to have found Lauren for my sweet boy! I can leave him and not worry!”

“Will use again!”

About: As someone who has always grown up around dogs, I understand that your pup is a part of the family and I take pride in taking care of your furry loved ones while you’re away! I currently have a German shepherd/Boxer mix (lives with my family) and a Rottweiler (lives with me). I have previously volunteered at a humane society and have also been employed at a dog boarding facility. I enjoy watching Dog Impossible in my free time and would love to spend time with your 4-legged family member in my free time too! I’m also an animal and nature photographer, so I’d be happy to take high quality photos while you’re away! I’m currently working full time from home (Monday-Friday) so I’d be more than happy to welcome your pup into my home and have a new coworker, taking them out as needed! I work until about 4:30 pm, so after that my availability is open to any other needs including walks and drop ins ☺️ In house sitting is available on weekends from Friday night after 4:30 pm until Sunday nights! I have a friendly dog to keep your pup company and I have a fenced in yard for all of your pups squirrel chasing and potty needs! I will always be cautious and careful to any and all of your pets needs while on leash too!

“Elizabeth was very nice, she updated me and sent me a pic of my puppy while she took care of him. It sounded like my pup Oso had a great time with her son Leo. I would book her again.”

About: Hello! My name is Sara and I'm 100% a dog lover. (I generally like dogs more than people :). I am generally very flexible about last minute needs and will care for your dog like it's my own. I live in an apartment but I am very close to numerous public parks for nice, long walks. I have experience caring for a variety of ages, sizes, and breeds for the last 15 or so years. Whether your dog is super active or a couch potato I can provide a safe, comfortable home away from home. I do prefer a meet and greet for any boarding to ensure your dog is comfortable. do also require your dog to be up to date on vaccinations as well as be on flea/tick/heartworm treatment. I work full time from home so your fur baby will never have to be alone while in my care. I can provide multiple potty breaks, walks, play sessions, and cuddles each day. I live in a relatively large apartment with a dog run and multiple parks nearby. I can administer medication if necessary and will care for your pet as if they were my own.

About: $25 for first-time bookers! Your Promo Code: GRANTS01745 Hello! My name is Grant, I'm a writer and creative marketing guy who works remotely, am a huge, season-ticket-holding Cubs fan, gay-friendly, and I absolutely love dogs! I have over 16 years experience caring for my own dogs and I'm one of the best Dog Dads out there! I enjoy dogs more than people sometimes, no offense, LOL, and I've always loved dog walking, pet sitting, reinforcing training techniques as instructed by owners (and teaching my own dogs), and playing with man and woman's best friends! I would love to meet you and your best friend, and I hope to have that opportunity to make your life a little easier by letting me take great care of your little guy or gal! I spend a good 45 minutes with your little lovers, including a walk and playtime, sometimes it’s a full hour—I don’t rush. I am responsible, loving and kind, educated, and will give your dog the best care possible outside of immediate family. For longer "day of" stays, where you may be going out for the day and need me for 8 hours or more of playtime and multiple walks, I will charge minimum wage in Illinois, $15 per hour, so for example an 8-hour day at your home with your pet would be $120. Tell me more about your pet and how I can tailor my time to make them happy and take the very best care that they are accustomed to! I can walk your dog up to 3 times daily and feed the pet according to your requirements. I am used to cooking for my dog, with a small kibble supplement, so if for example, you would love me to cook up some chicken with vegetables like broccoli and cauliflower, I can do that if you have the budget to accommodate purchase of the ingredients! I'm happy to play with your dog inside or outdoors, in your yard, or drive to the nearest park to get some great exercise and Vitamin D! A happy dog is a tired dog, and my plan would be for the dog to have a full day of fun and exercise! If your dog has a pal or two, or a day care you like to drop your dog off at where he or she has some buddies they like to play with, I'm willing to drop your snuggle bear off for a few hours, etc., to break up the monotony of being at home. Whatever I can do to match your dog's usual routine -- let me know -- and we'll make it happen!

About: I minored in animal science in college, volunteered in various animal shelters, and worked on a farm. I have taken care of hamsters, turtles, birds, dogs, fish, cats, and horses. There are also fenced in outside dog play areas/parks in the apartment complex. I can easily crate your dog if needed.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a child. At the age of 18 I started to watch family friends dogs in their homes while house sitting and they relied on me to keep everything going. I am currently a full time stay at home mom to twins we had a dog but it was older. We are not ready for another dog yet but I need doggies in my life. I have a large fenced in yard and an open house so your dog can run free. I am willing to crate your dog if needed or to your liking. My parents puppy loves to come visit if your dog loves play dates.

12. Katelyn D.
“Katelyn is my cousin and has always been such a loving pet owner. My dog, Tots, is extremely skiddish around anyone who isn’t me so when I needed to go out of town for a business trip I was frantic over what to do with him. Katelyn volunteered to help and I was nervous about it at first, but he warmed up to her instantly. I mean it when I say that’s so rare for him. On top of being amazing with pets, Katelyn is a great people-person too. Both you and your pets will be glad to know her.”

“Wow! Where do I start! I was so lucky to find Grant to watch my two cats and golden retriever, Pablo when I booked a last minute trip to mexico for two weeks. Pablo fell in love with Grant! Not only did Grant send me photos and videos for updates when he took care of my dog and cats he also took care of my mail and plants. I am so thankful for Grant. I wouldn’t trust any one more with my pet family. I always contact him now before I go on a trip - he is becoming so popular - word is out.
