She was so sweet and caring with them, handled all of their medication and care needs, sent frequent updates, and left our home in perfect condition. She even took out our trash cans on garbage day without being asked. Typically when we have gone on vacation, we have been worried about our dogs the entire time, but not with Heidi. She put us at ease every day and was so great with then. When we came back, both our dogs were happy and calm - a great change from when we would pick them up from boarding or come home to our prior dog sitter in the past. I feel bad for putting Isabell in a tough spot, as we booked last minute after a cancelation, and she had to deal with unanticipated home construction and related challenges too! Lauren was fantastic. We had not used her before but were impressed at the meet and greet. Some may find it a bit different that her Mom helped out some, but don’t - it was really getting a two for one deal, in a great way. Unfortunately, our dog took a turn for the worse health wise while we were away for 11 days. Lauren and her Mom went above and beyond and reached out to our neighbors, who were there in case of emergency, at just the right time. Didn’t panic, but reached out when the situation dictated it, then worked with them the last few days until we got home. Her texts and pictures were informative and let us know our Piper was well cared for. If you are looking for a conscientious person to take care of your pet, I highly recommend Lauren.
Heidi stepped in as "substitute mom" when my wife & I celebrated our anniversary in Italy. She was thorough in wanting to meet and know our pups prior to the house-sit. Our girls (and home) were well taken care of, and picture check ins were appreciated. One can tell that she truly loves what she does.
We are SO thankful for Loraine. She has watched our dogs a couple of times now and this particular time, our one dog had an accident the night before our trip. I called Loraine and explained how she would have to now administer medication and keep a cone on my dog while we were gone. It felt like a big ask and we almost considered canceling our trip. But Loraine came through and took care of our pup just as good as we would have! She is so kind, calm, and thoughtful with them. She sends us updates and pictures and I am so thankful for her.
