She was so sweet and caring with them, handled all of their medication and care needs, sent frequent updates, and left our home in perfect condition. She even took out our trash cans on garbage day without being asked. Typically when we have gone on vacation, we have been worried about our dogs the entire time, but not with Heidi. She put us at ease every day and was so great with then. When we came back, both our dogs were happy and calm - a great change from when we would pick them up from boarding or come home to our prior dog sitter in the past. If you need a dog sitter you can trust while away, I cannot recommend Heidi enough. She truly is the best!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for many years, primarily through dog sitting for family, friends, and others in my community. I’m comfortable keeping up with regular feeding schedules, long walks, trips to the dog park, playtime, and making sure each pup gets plenty of attention and exercise. I’ve also helped administer basic medications, including pills and eye drops, when needed. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I’m happy to follow your instructions to keep them comfortable and on their normal schedule. Whether your pup needs an active walking buddy, lots of playtime, or someone to keep them company and give them plenty of cuddles, I’m happy to help! Although I work full-time, pet care fits very easily into my weekly routine. I typically work from home two days a week, usually Mondays and Fridays, which gives me extra flexibility for walks, check-ins, and spending time with pets throughout the day. I’m also generally free in the evenings after work and have open availability on weekends. I enjoy staying active and getting outside, so taking dogs for walks or spending time playing with them is something I genuinely enjoy. I’m very comfortable planning my schedule around pet care and making sure each pet gets the attention, exercise, and care they need. Since I have a flexible routine outside of work, I’m able to be reliable and consistent with the pets I’m caring for. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make it a priority to keep their normal routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. I’ll follow any instructions provided regarding feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and other specific needs. I’m respectful of the home and will stick to the common areas and spaces needed to care for the pet. I’ll always clean up after myself, keep things tidy, and make sure the home is left just as I found it. I’ll have plenty of time to give your pet the care and attn it needs. I have a partially fenced in shared yard, but able to sit in back with it with a tie out.I will also walk your dog 3 to 4 times a day. I also have a safe area that will give your pet enough space to roam around in and stretch if I need to go into the office. Otherwise it’s free range with supervision while I’m home unless otherwise specified.
