Anna has been great with our dog Hershey, who can be anxious around new people. She’s patient and understanding, taking the time to make Hershey feel comfortable. We appreciate her reliability and the updates she provides after each walk. Highly recommend!

About: I've grown up with dogs all of my life. From puppies to seniors, small and big, I've taken care of them all. I've taken care of my dogs after surgeries and kept them comfortable and assisted them getting around safely. I have completed dog training classes with dogs and have taught them tricks! I have a huge place in my heart for all dogs and will take care of your dogs like they're my own! I am currently a stay at home mom with our 5 year old son. I would be available to take care of your dog(s) throughout the day. Israel, Jaxson and I live in a house with a fenced in yard with our 9 year old dog Sophie, a Wheaten Terrier. We love meeting new dogs and enjoy seeing our dog friends return for another visit! Feel free to reach out to me with any questions! I am a Stay At Home Mom with a 5 year old son and our dog, so I am available throughout the day to take care of any new dog friends. I have a fenced in yard and a friendly dog to keep your fur baby company and stay active. We have gates we can put up while dogs eat to keep them separated and safe.

About: I’m a passionate and reliable pet lover with years of hands on experience caring for dogs of all ages and needs. I’ve had four dogs of my own, including my current puppy, so I understand the energy, attention, and patience that younger dogs require. I’ve also cared for two senior dogs with health issues, which taught me how to provide gentle, attentive care and manage more complex needs with compassion. In addition to caring for my own pets, I've cared for pets of neighbors, friends and friends of friends! I’m comfortable following specific routines, administering basic care, and making sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Whether your dog needs a fun walk, extra playtime, or calm, attentive care, I treat every pet like they’re my own. I’m dependable, communicative, and truly enjoy spending time with animals of all personalities and energy levels! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, especially during the summer when I’m home from college and able to make it my main focus. I have a very flexible schedule and can plan my day around each pet’s specific needs, whether that’s regular walks, feeding times, play sessions, or check ins. Because this is my primary commitment over the summer, I’m able to give pets plenty of attention, stay consistent with their routines, and be available for a variety of times throughout the day. I prioritize reliability and communication, so you can feel confident your pet is getting the care and attention they deserve. I tailor my care to each pet’s routine and needs to make them feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible. In a client’s home, I stick closely to your pet’s normal schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest, so they can stay in a familiar environment. I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, while also keeping their space clean and secure. Across all services, I focus on clear communication, dependability, and treating every pet like my own, whether that means energetic playtime for puppies or gentle, attentive care for senior dogs.

About: I have been pet sitting since I was a teenager. It started with neighbors and family friends and grew from there. I have experience with senior animals, reptiles, rabbits, deer, and medication and pets with special needs! I’m currently in clinicals at the Naval Hospital Tuesdays - Fridays until mid May. Rover allows me the flexibility to still take care of your furry loved ones during my down time from school! With in-home pet sitting, I like to make a visit prior to the scheduled service (although not required). This allows me to get a feel for the home and pet(s), and to sit down with owners and discuss needs and schedules for feeding, walking, etc.

I have years of expierence caring for healthy, sick and elderly pets and know just how important those small little details can be when it comes to the care of your pet, to just as how important burning off that extra energy can be for those long hours until you get home. I also have experience caring for rodents, reptiles and fish and can care for them too! ❤️ I am also an active dog walker and dog sitter on WAG and Care! Reference's available upon request! I am a retired business owner and part time real estate broker and work mainly from home. I have a pretty flexible schedule when it comes to caring for your pets. About: I started taking care and training dogs when I was 13. My parents rescued my dog Luna when I was 14 and I took care of her every day and trained her, she even understands Spanish! She is the sweetest dog ever but I currently don’t live with her anymore. I also enjoy taking care of kids and I am very patient and confident in my ability to handle anything. I love to teach and I am very passionate about what I do. Once I start something I work hard to become better everyday. I am currently on summer break so I have plenty of free time. I am fully committed to working Monday-Saturday mostly from 8am-9pm. My current schedule is simple. I go to the gym from 9-11:30am and pretty much free the rest of the day. I have a part time job and I work every other week Sat-Sun from 4-10. I have a really flexible schedule so feel free to ask any questions! I would usually take my dog out for her first walk at 8 in the morning. I would take her out for at least 15min and repeat this every 3/4 hours. After her first walk I fed her breakfast, sometimes I’d crack an egg on top or drizzle honey which is great for dogs, and I fed her twice a day. If it was muddy outside I would clean her paws and fur after. I would play with her and teach her new tricks every now and then. If her breath was bad I would brush her teeth at night. I loved cuddling and sleeping with her and I would do everything to make sure she was happy.

Sam never fails to go above and beyond with her care. She gives long walks and even takes extra time to sit and give pets and love afterwards (and even checks food and water, how nice!) Our dogs absolutely adore her and she's always so helpful and gives us such peace of mind that our lil pups are in the best of hands. We honestly feel so lucky to have found such a reliable and trustworthy walker to keep our dogs happy while we're away!

About: I’ve raised two animals from 4 months old, so I understand the patience, consistency, and energy animals need. I’m experienced with basic commands, crate training, and potty training. Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Palisades. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Palisades. On Rover:

  • 90% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
