About: I recently graduated from Northern Michigan University this past spring with a bachelors degree in Education. Before pursuing my career, I am taking time off to work and spend time with family. I am a lover of all animals, though I have the most experience with cats and dogs of all ages and sizes. About: I've been taking care of dogs and cats for family and friends for the past 15 years and I've had two professional pet sitter jobs, One for a golden retriever for a few years and I've dog sitted for two pitbulls. I also grew up with 3 large dogs a Rottweiler, German shepherd and English Mastiffs. I'm currently on disability with autism spectrum and I have a lot of free time, I mostly play video games and play basketball at the park and the gym. “Where do I even begin? Kat was fantastic from our very first phone call where we talked for 45 minutes so that I could get to know her and she could hear about my two senior pups and all their quirks. We haven’t left our dogs with anyone in years because they have so many needs that it’s hard to leave. Their many, many medicines and beginnings of incontinence were no issue for Kat. I knew they were going to be in great hands. Kat gave our dogs so much attention and care— they were spoiled while she was here with bones, walks, baths, and cuddles. They were also rarely, if ever, left alone while they were in her care. She’s very attentive. Not only that— but she CLEANS. I can’t even begin to explain how grateful I was to come home to a home that was not only clean, but even cleaner than how we left it. With two older dogs and a toddler, it’s hard for me to find time to clean everything to the level I want. Kat deep cleaned things in my bathroom that have been on my to-do list for months (all unprompted)! Despite my telling her not to worry about cleaning the poop in the backyard (because we had gotten behind and hadn’t cleaned any of it during the winter), she cleaned all of it and our yard looked pristine. She did laundry in addition to everything that got dirtied by my dogs’ accidents. She’s easy to work with and will take amazing care of your pets and home. I can’t recommend her enough!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for many years, primarily through dog sitting for family, friends, and others in my community. I’m comfortable keeping up with regular feeding schedules, long walks, trips to the dog park, playtime, and making sure each pup gets plenty of attention and exercise. I’ve also helped administer basic medications, including pills and eye drops, when needed. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I’m happy to follow your instructions to keep them comfortable and on their normal schedule. Whether your pup needs an active walking buddy, lots of playtime, or someone to keep them company and give them plenty of cuddles, I’m happy to help! Although I work full-time, pet care fits very easily into my weekly routine. I typically work from home two days a week, usually Mondays and Fridays, which gives me extra flexibility for walks, check-ins, and spending time with pets throughout the day. I’m also generally free in the evenings after work and have open availability on weekends. I enjoy staying active and getting outside, so taking dogs for walks or spending time playing with them is something I genuinely enjoy. I’m very comfortable planning my schedule around pet care and making sure each pet gets the attention, exercise, and care they need. Since I have a flexible routine outside of work, I’m able to be reliable and consistent with the pets I’m caring for. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make it a priority to keep their normal routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. I’ll follow any instructions provided regarding feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and other specific needs. I’m respectful of the home and will stick to the common areas and spaces needed to care for the pet. I’ll always clean up after myself, keep things tidy, and make sure the home is left just as I found it. Most importantly, I want both the pet and their owner to feel comfortable and confident while they’re away.

About: My family has had at least one dog most of my life, one of which became my best friend, and he (Bear) was the reason I named my current dog (Polar) after him. I have my own 100+ pound white Lab who had a whole lot of energy when he was a puppy ,so I am familiar with how crazy the young ones (and older ones too) can get. Your pet is safe with me, (s)he will be treated like family, and as if (s)he were my own dog to love. I am currently a full-time MBA student and can be home full-time if needed. Potty breaks every few hours, or as requested by him/her. Lots of play time in between, as I always need an excuse to take a break from my studies... My family has had at least one dog almost my entire life, and I currently have my own 100+ pound white Lab, so I am capable to providing care as if it were my own dog. I have a fenced in yard that your dog will be allowed to go out to every few hours, or whenever he/she indicates the need. One neighbor does not have a dog, the other house does have a dog but is only outside for a few minutes at a time. I do have an alley behind my house where very rarely somebody in the neighborhood might walk their dog, but the strong chain link fence will keep them separate. Inside has miscellaneous stuff around the house that may be an issue if your dog chews items, but I can identify and remove any distractions deemed necessary. I have lots of toys and balls for your dog to play with, whatever he or she wants... In your home, I will follow any and every rule you establish. Whatever you say goes. Please give me a detailed list with any guidelines that need to be followed and I will do so.
