I've also cared for pets for family, friends, and neighbors, and I've volunteered at animal shelters, where I spent time with dogs of different ages, temperaments, and backgrounds. I know how stressful it can be to find someone you feel comfortable leaving your pet with. I’ll make each experience as easy and reassuring as possible. My goal is to eventually work with animals full-time, and Rover gives me the opportunity to do more of what I love while helping people in my community. I enjoy figuring out what makes each pet feel comfortable and loved! Adjusting to them instead of expecting them to adjust to me. About: Ever since I was a kid, I’ve just really cherished being around animals, even the ones who aren’t super cuddly. I have a lot of patience and respect for each pet’s personality and comfort level, and I do my best to make them feel safe, happy, and cared for while their people are away. I work full time during the week and try to stay busy on the weekend, but I will absolutely work my weekend schedule around you/your pet’s needs. I have a big fenced backyard and plenty of space inside for house-trained pets to relax, whether that’s on the couch, a comfy chair, or the floor. I share my home with one dog, a terrier mix named Minnie. She’s playful and friendly, but if your dog prefers to keep to themselves, I can easily keep them separated. Older dogs sometimes find her a bit too energetic, while younger pups usually have a great time playing with her.

About: I treat every pup like my own. If your dog isn't napping or resting, we'll be active and engaged. That may include playing with their favorite toy, going on a walk, or getting plenty of belly rubs and pats. I believe dogs thrive on love, attention, and activity. Therefore, I make sure they're never bored or lonely. I'm currently a student at UIC with one class online and one class in person. My schedule is very flexible, which allows me plenty time for walks, drop-ins and overnight care. Your dogs safety and comfort are my top priorities. On walks, I let your pep lead the way so they can explore at their own pace. I love finding nearby parks where they can burn energy. It I'm caring for a pet in your home, I'll always follow your instructions closely to maintain their normal routine.

About: I have about eight years of experience caring for friends' and clients' pets when they are moving or on vacation. I have a very open schedule and my lines for communication are very open. I live in a condo in Oak Lawn and own my own car meaning I have reliable transportation to any of the surrounding areas, if required for your needs. Pets seem to make themselves right at home even if they haven't been there before. I love long walks and don't mind laying around the house or jumping up and going out every hour depending on the pet's needs or desires. I am friendly and pets seem to warm up to me quickly. Even if your pet needs me to spin around 3 times and pretend to microwave his/her food or ACTUALLY has food that needs to be microwaved! I make sure to review instructions with the client the day of so we both feel comfortable that we are on the same page and their fur baby is getting the best care.

About: I grew up with cats and Golden Retrievers and now have 4 Boston Terriers and 2 new kittens, who are my whole world! I am also an approved dog-walker / caregiver for Chicago Animal Care and Control, trained in their strict techniques, so I am comfortable caring for, walking, and exhausting small to large dogs. Currently working part time, so have lots of time to dedicate to your pups! I am mostly available for walks during weekdays: Mon - Fri, 9a - 5p Happy to care for your pup where they are most comfortable, in your home! Even if you have a fully fenced yard, you can trust that I'll never leave them unsupervised and unleashed, outside. If you do not have a fenced yard, we will have lots of fun getting our steps in, around the neighborhood! Comfortable getting your pup in and out of crates/kennels if needed, and getting them harnessed up for walks. Will *always* pick up any and all poop your pup leaves, whether in your yard or on our walks.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life, dogs, cats, ferrets, rats, bearded dragons and ball pythons. I have a lot of experience and can easily take care of your pet or pets. I currently work full time in Burr Ridge from 8 AM to 4 PM. I’m available after work and on the weekends to care for your fur babies. I can easily adjust to your pet or pets schedule. I can take them for walks or hangout with them in a fenced yard. I can stick to your feeding schedule and I can also give medicine if needed.

I have had a dog for about 7 years now, and she is completely spoiled and just a huge part of my life. Dogs are definitely family, and should be treated as such. About: I grew up with pets such as multiple cats and dogs big and little from the day I was born. I have also had many jobs of dog walking and dog sitting about 5 years of that. I will make sure your pets are fed, played with as well as happy and cared for. I’m very good at making sure there’s food and water as well as potty breaks and play times. If you hire me to pet sit your cute little animals I’m sure you’ll be happy they’re in good hands and won’t have to worry about them. I have no medical issues and no allergies so you wouldn’t have to worry about anything happening. I also love animals any breed and any type of species. You wouldn’t regret having me care for your animals and I prefer you to be happy for them in good care. What better way to spend time than being with animals. I’m always free and available to take care and provide my service to others and make them happy. I take care of them. We would bond and play with toys. Also I am a person who talks to animals like they’re human. We would have a fun time. I would make sure they’re fed and have water and any needs that their owner would want me to provide.

About: I have had a dog my whole life! I’m great with animals because I’m patient, caring, and responsible. I enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m attentive to their needs and always make sure they have proper food, exercise, attention, and care. I’m currently working Mondays and thursdays so I am Available Everyday except that. I have a very flexible schedule and am available at any time I Have been a Nanny for the last 3 years, I will pick up after animal on walks (if walks are needed). About: I used to be a farm manager and not only took care of domestic pets, but livestock too! I know everyone says that animals love THEM the most, but pets are really drawn to me. I think it’s because I have a deep reverence for them and their ability to so easily love people unconditionally. I also respect their boundaries because I understand that they cannot communicate as easily as we do. I am currently unemployed and going to school part time so my schedule is very open right now! I enjoy nature, even when weather is inclement, and will be there rain or shine. I will follow whatever instructions you have for your pet! No matter how detailed. I would care for your pet in the same manner I care for my own, which is obsessively. As a former anxious pet owner (sometimes I still am), I will provide photos and updates whenever I am with them. I also respect your privacy, as I know allowing someone into your home can be intimidating.
