About: I treat every pup like my own. If your dog isn't napping or resting, we'll be active and engaged. That may include playing with their favorite toy, going on a walk, or getting plenty of belly rubs and pats. I believe dogs thrive on love, attention, and activity. Therefore, I make sure they're never bored or lonely. Currently away at bootcamp! I'm currently a student at UIC with one class online and one class in person. My schedule is very flexible, which allows me plenty time for walks, drop-ins and overnight care. Your dogs safety and comfort are my top priorities. On walks, I let your pep lead the way so they can explore at their own pace. I love finding nearby parks where they can burn energy. It I'm caring for a pet in your home, I'll always follow your instructions closely to maintain their normal routine.

About: I've owned and cared for all kinds of animals my whole life. Professionally, I have experience working as a dog handler, kennel attendant, dog bather, and groomer. I also have extensive experience working and caring for cats, horses, and various small animals. My +3 years working at a dog daycare facility had me safely handling a pack of up to 25 dogs; providing exercise & engagement, soft corrections, and positive reinforcement. To do so, it was necessary to be observant and in tune with the dog's behavior and always on the lookout for any signs of stress or aggression. As a bather and groomer, I was focused on hygiene but a large aspect of the job relied on my knowledge of dog behavior and training techniques. I've owned cats my entire life and have worked with a TNR rescue the past few years getting pregnant females and unneutered male cats fixed and adopted. I also have pet care insurance with animal baliee coverage in case of emergencies. I always care for every animal as if they are my own and I understand how important it is for them to feel comfortable and loved. I work part-time on the night shift, so I'm usually out of the house between 9:30pm and 2am Monday through Friday. Outside of that- my schedule is flexible. I am available on most weekends and holidays. I only book one client at a time for pet sits and boarding, so your pet(s) will have my full attention. I live in a quiet suburban neighborhood with a huge, unfenced yard. I own a variety of animal care supplies and equipment.

About: I have over 13 years experience doing vet assistant and vet technician tasks and skills as a volunteer at The Animal Welfare League in Chicago Ridge, IL. I have been employed as part of the membership and philanthropic department at Lincoln Park Zoo from which I learned a great deal, stemming from my biology classes on taxonomy to zoology, to specific animal facts and conservation of threatened animals. I therefore know a great deal of educational background on animal behavior. I studied psychology and comparitive human psychology/animal behavior with a bachelors in science from IIT. I have grown up with dogs, cats, and ferrets. At Southwest Animal Care Center, I bathed, fed, walked, medicated, and cared for boarding and patient animals. I graduated with my veterinary assistant certificate in 2018. After graduating from IIT, I became a kennel attendant and learned a great deal about how to care for animals. Pet care is a daily task for me as I take care for two little fuzzbutt ferrets, Icarus and Agatha. Icarus often wakes me up with his bushy tailed excitement. I'm lucky to have such wonderful critters in my life. Right now, I am only offering dog walking and off-site at client's home services. From what I've read from the anthropologist book "Inside of a Dog" by Alexandra Horowitz, animals, especially dogs, crave human attention so being attentive to an animal's needs is to me, what's most important. This includes communicating with animals to know when they need a bathroom break, when they want play, when they want affection and cuddles, when they want nappy time, being fed according to what their schedule is, and of course, offering healthy treats (if allowed) and new novel smells, toys, etc. I can manage 4-5 walks per day with one or multiple dogs at a time 5-6 days a week. This is my main job and I'm dedicated to providing top care as if they are my own. I take extra care to be a courteous and contentious guest in the owner's home. I treat my stay with respect and humbly care. You can trust me to provide excellent care and keep everything tidy and clean.

About: For years, I've been a devoted pet parent, welcoming everything from kittens and puppies to their adult counterparts. My journey took a deep turn when I became the primary caregiver for my senior dog, who battled three different medical conditions. Every day, I managed a complex schedule of 5–7 medications. Thanks to this dedication, she defied the odds, living a happy, long life until she was 16. She was my best friend, and the many years we spent navigating her health together remains one of my most cherished experiences. I'm currently not working and available 7am-7pm weekdays and weekends.I do take care of our own pets at home along with my parents.So If you need me longer I can make it work for you. I am currently feeding our one dog and three cats multiple times a day and all are also cared for and loved by my parents and aunt.

I commute on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I am free to walk your furry friend any day that isn't Tuesday or Thursday :) I have one energetic five-year-old Wheaton terrier whom I have trained by myself. I walk her at least once a day, feed her, play with her, and train her when time allows. My whole life pets have gravitated towards me and felt safe next to me. Pet care is in my everyday routine because I have my dog Oreo. From the time I wake up, my Oreo is there and ready to start the day with me. He loves going outside first thing and then coming back in to eat and relax. About: I love dogs and cats, all animals really. I have had my dog for 5 years, I trained her since she was 8 weeks. I am very hardworking and punctual.
