About: Im currently a Rover sitter full time, therefore im always home keeping all the pups supervised at all times! I have many repeat clients who frequently book with me because their dogs love coming over :) I live near a beautiful park with pathways for walking. I have a family pup who absolutely loves other dogs so your pup will have a friend if I have to step out and run errands. I also have a medium/large crate in case your pup needs time to calm down or simply just wants private time.I take frequent trips to the dog park and maintain an active lifestyle according to your dogs physical needs. I am a full time rover sitter, and I maintain an active lifestyle. I love being outdoors and taking walks at Montrose Dog beach in Chicago. Feed all dogs separately if multiple dogs are in my home. Access to water 24/7, I have multiple water bowls around my apartment. 1 cage in case someone needs private time. Trips to the dog park under owner's consent.

About: I’ve lived around animals since I was a little girl and have owned a diverse range of pets myself. I grew up caring for my Hungarian Vizsla into college as well, even while he got sick and eventually had to be put down. I have experience owning rabbits, gerbils, dogs, cats. I live with two sweet cats now with my boyfriend and his mother, I’m home most of the time taking care of them. I love animals and have always felt more comfortable with them than humans sometimes. I believe every pet should be taken care of with compassion and a watchful eye. I understand animal body language and always respect what the animal needs or wants for their own sake and for my safety. I’d be honored to help any family with their furry babies! Since I am a university student online my schedule is very open and flexible. I expect most pet sitting jobs to require seeing the animals at least 3 times a day, every day needed. I am looking for another part time job but would allow me to leave work in cases where animals need care in the afternoon as well. Our cats are kept inside most of the time but we do have a yard with a fence that allows them to be outside supervised. If the weather allows for it, we let them out to get exercise in and just have some stimulation. We have to feed them separately as one cat likes to try to steal food from the other. They’re both on their diets to lose some weight so feeding times are in order now for them.

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. In high school, I completed a vet tech course at Wilco where I gained hands-on experience with administering medication, proper animal handling, and maintaining clean, safe environments for pets. I also learned how to monitor behavior and support basic health needs. In addition to that, I regularly help my aunt, who fosters dogs and puppies, with daily care including feeding, cleaning, socializing, and keeping up with their routines. These experiences have given me a strong understanding of animal care and a genuine love for working with pets of all ages and temperaments. I’m currently working part-time at a FedEx warehouse. I occasionally pick up extra shifts because I’m saving up for a car. Im available early mornings before 11:30 (weekdays) and on weekends im free whenever. I care for dogs by making sure each walk is safe, fun, and fits their energy level and needs. I always follow the owner’s instructions, including any specific routines, routes, or care details. During walks, I give them plenty of attention, exercise, and bathroom breaks while keeping a close eye on their safety the whole time. I make sure they feel comfortable and happy, and I return them home relaxed and well-exercised. My goal is to treat every dog like my own and give owners peace of mind while they’re away.

About: Available on some weekdays and weekends, will incorporate lots of exercise and playtime, have years of experience with caring for dogs, like my dog Benji. I don’t prefer to do house-boarding just because my current family dog isn’t dog-friendly with others. Because I grew up without a dog and have always wanted one, I was hoping to fulfill that gap with caring for other dogs. About: I absolutely love animals. I have previously worked at a pet store where I had the responsibility of taking care of cats, kittens, dogs, puppies, reptiles, and exotic animals. About: I have over 13 years experience doing vet assistant and vet technician tasks and skills as a volunteer at The Animal Welfare League in Chicago Ridge, IL. I have been employed as part of the membership and philanthropic department at Lincoln Park Zoo from which I learned a great deal, stemming from my biology classes on taxonomy to zoology, to specific animal facts and conservation of threatened animals. I therefore know a great deal of educational background on animal behavior. I studied psychology and comparitive human psychology/animal behavior with a bachelors in science from IIT. I have grown up with dogs, cats, and ferrets. At Southwest Animal Care Center, I bathed, fed, walked, medicated, and cared for boarding and patient animals. I graduated with my veterinary assistant certificate in 2018. After graduating from IIT, I became a kennel attendant and learned a great deal about how to care for animals. Pet care is a daily task for me as I take care for two little fuzzbutt ferrets, Icarus and Agatha. Icarus often wakes me up with his bushy tailed excitement. I'm lucky to have such wonderful critters in my life. Right now, I am only offering dog walking and off-site at client's home services. From what I've read from the anthropologist book "Inside of a Dog" by Alexandra Horowitz, animals, especially dogs, crave human attention so being attentive to an animal's needs is to me, what's most important. This includes communicating with animals to know when they need a bathroom break, when they want play, when they want affection and cuddles, when they want nappy time, being fed according to what their schedule is, and of course, offering healthy treats (if allowed) and new novel smells, toys, etc. I can manage 4-5 walks per day with one or multiple dogs at a time 5-6 days a week. This is my main job and I'm dedicated to providing top care as if they are my own. I take extra care to be a courteous and contentious guest in the owner's home. I treat my stay with respect and humbly care. You can trust me to provide excellent care and keep everything tidy and clean.

About: Hi! I'm looking for new wonderful pets to walk and take care of! I have taken in four rescues, all with different special physical and behavioral needs. I currently have two Pitbull mixes, two Lab mixes, and a few tropical aquariums! Caring for animals has been a passion of mine since I was young. A favorite activity of mine is taking my dogs to local forest preserves where they can play and exert their energy. I can administer eye drops, pills, and ointments to pets as my own have different medications that they need on a regular basis. I have also taken classes in care for companion animals. Special needs animals have a forever place in my heart because I believe that every pup or cat deserves to enjoy life to the fullest! Whether that is hiking at a trail, swimming in a lake, or curling up on the couch- I'd love to help them do that! Currently very open for scheduling. Stays for over a week will have to be discussed as I do have to ensure time to take care of my own animals. I do not host animals in my own home, but I am adaptable to a variety of routines and activities you and your pet would enjoy.

About: I grew up with dogs and for the past 7 years I’ve been a cat mom. I have experience with dogs, cats, rodents and some reptiles. About: Hi friends, my name is Carla, and I LOVE animals. Anyone who knows me, can vouch for that. I’ve grown up having a numerous amount of pets, all different sizes, and kinds! Pretty much anything my parents would let me bring home since I was a toddler. I’ve had dogs and cats of all sizes, snakes, turtles, birds, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, you name it! This didn’t stop in my adult hood, I currently have 3 dogs, 3 cats, and 2 turtles, whom are all rescues! I have been in the animal field for 6+ years, working in shelters, emergency hospitals, surgical units, and general clinics as a veterinary technician. I am highly experienced with anxious/reactive pets, senior pets, neonatal pets, or even pets with medical needs. I’m also currently a lead tech at a spay/neuter clinic so I am very experienced with surgical recovery! I understand the importance of safety of crates/kennels, and am willing to be compliant with your house rules for your pets! Wether they need to be walked around blocks, or even in your yard for a playtime/potty break, rain or shine I will be there. I also have training experience, so if allowed, I would be happy to help with leash training or command training during my visits! If there is one thing every pet needs, it someone patient and willing, and that’s me! Rain or shine, I’ll be there! I am currently working full time But I am available after 6 Monday-Thursday, and weekends I have full availability for walking, Drop ins, and boarding! I have a huge fenced in yard, and dogs that are pet friendly! I also have kitties who love dogs, and I foster shelter pets frequently, I am very experienced with proper introductions and reading body language!
