About: I’ve always had a natural connection with animals, especially dogs, and finally welcomed my own pup, Leia, into my life five years ago. Since then, I’ve handled all of her training, walks, feeding schedule, etc., myself. I learned a lot from years of watching "It’s Me or the Dog," and put what I've learned into practice with my dog, Leia. What sets me apart is my mix of genuine love for dogs, hands‑on training experience, and a calm, reliable presence. I’m excited to meet your pup and give them a walk they’ll remember; one that’s safe, stimulating, and tailored to their personality. I am a college student at DePaul University, majoring in Finance and Criminology. I commute on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I am free to walk your furry friend any day that isn't Tuesday or Thursday :) I have one energetic five-year-old Wheaton terrier whom I have trained by myself. I walk her at least once a day, feed her, play with her, and train her when time allows. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow your established rules and routines to ensure your dog feels comfortable and stress‑free. I pay close attention to safety — from securely leashing during walks to double‑checking doors, gates, and feeding instructions. My goal is to treat your pet and your home with the same care and respect I give my own.

About: Available on some weekdays and weekends, will incorporate lots of exercise and playtime, have years of experience with caring for dogs, like my dog Benji. I don’t prefer to do house-boarding just because my current family dog isn’t dog-friendly with others. Because I grew up without a dog and have always wanted one, I was hoping to fulfill that gap with caring for other dogs. I am responsible enough to ensure everything will go smoothly, and have a calm demeanor in case of emergencies. Having always been a dog lover, I can provide you with the service of being rest assured that the relationship between your dog and me will be a reciprocal and enjoyable one! About: I have over 13 years experience doing vet assistant and vet technician tasks and skills as a volunteer at The Animal Welfare League in Chicago Ridge, IL. I have been employed as part of the membership and philanthropic department at Lincoln Park Zoo from which I learned a great deal, stemming from my biology classes on taxonomy to zoology, to specific animal facts and conservation of threatened animals. I therefore know a great deal of educational background on animal behavior. I studied psychology and comparitive human psychology/animal behavior with a bachelors in science from IIT. I have grown up with dogs, cats, and ferrets. At Southwest Animal Care Center, I bathed, fed, walked, medicated, and cared for boarding and patient animals. I graduated with my veterinary assistant certificate in 2018. After graduating from IIT, I became a kennel attendant and learned a great deal about how to care for animals. Pet care is a daily task for me as I take care for two little fuzzbutt ferrets, Icarus and Agatha. Icarus often wakes me up with his bushy tailed excitement. I'm lucky to have such wonderful critters in my life. Right now, I am only offering dog walking and off-site at client's home services. From what I've read from the anthropologist book "Inside of a Dog" by Alexandra Horowitz, animals, especially dogs, crave human attention so being attentive to an animal's needs is to me, what's most important. This includes communicating with animals to know when they need a bathroom break, when they want play, when they want affection and cuddles, when they want nappy time, being fed according to what their schedule is, and of course, offering healthy treats (if allowed) and new novel smells, toys, etc. I can manage 4-5 walks per day with one or multiple dogs at a time 5-6 days a week. This is my main job and I'm dedicated to providing top care as if they are my own. I take extra care to be a courteous and contentious guest in the owner's home. I treat my stay with respect and humbly care. You can trust me to provide excellent care and keep everything tidy and clean.

About: I have had my dog now for almost 10 years. I used to care for my dog as well as a roommates dog at one point. I can give medications and can provide First Aid/Heimlich if needed. Strong enough to hold back and tame my 60 pound Boxer mix. I’ve also helped care/walk my sisters Great Dane and my friends smaller dogs for 7 years or so. I love animals and if you have other little friends who need care, just let me know what to do and I’ll do it. I work night shift as an ICU Nurse so I’m home all day. I can pop in and check on your babies any time during the day. I would need to know in advance only cause I do eventually sleep during the day. I’m aware you are trusting me with one of the most important members of your family, I’ll be happy to leave a photo and an update of any changes , good or bad, so you can enjoy some peace of mind that everything is alright.

About: I’ve lived around animals since I was a little girl and have owned a diverse range of pets myself. I grew up caring for my Hungarian Vizsla into college as well, even while he got sick and eventually had to be put down. I have experience owning rabbits, gerbils, dogs, cats. I live with two sweet cats now with my boyfriend and his mother, I’m home most of the time taking care of them. I love animals and have always felt more comfortable with them than humans sometimes. I believe every pet should be taken care of with compassion and a watchful eye. I understand animal body language and always respect what the animal needs or wants for their own sake and for my safety. I’d be honored to help any family with their furry babies! Since I am a university student online my schedule is very open and flexible. I expect most pet sitting jobs to require seeing the animals at least 3 times a day, every day needed. I am looking for another part time job but would allow me to leave work in cases where animals need care in the afternoon as well. Our cats are kept inside most of the time but we do have a yard with a fence that allows them to be outside supervised. If the weather allows for it, we let them out to get exercise in and just have some stimulation. We have to feed them separately as one cat likes to try to steal food from the other. They’re both on their diets to lose some weight so feeding times are in order now for them.

About: I can guarantee your pet is cared for and has everything they need to be comfortable. Their needs will be prioritized and met. My whole life pets have gravitated towards me and felt safe next to me. Pet care is in my everyday routine because I have my dog Oreo. From the time I wake up, my Oreo is there and ready to start the day with me. He loves going outside first thing and then coming back in to eat and relax. We also have daily walks and enrichment activities to keep him healthy. I care for pets by providing fresh and clean food and water, clean litter or outside potty breaks, attention and enrichment through playing, and a comfortable place to sleep & relax. (and of course treats!)

About: I grew up with dogs and for the past 7 years I’ve been a cat mom. I have experience with dogs, cats, rodents and some reptiles. I’m an animal lover so it’s easy for me to adjust to new pets 😊 I’m currently doing school online and I do work part time but for the most part I can work around my schedule for your babies! I do not have a fence which is why I would not mind being in a client’s home. I would also love for your pet to feel comfortable where they know.

About: I’ve owned animals all my life. I am just starting to help others. I’m at a stage in my life where this would work good for me and I’m sure for you. I am currently working for myself part time so I can always make plenty of time for your animals. I can come for play and a potty break, a walk or I can stay as long as needed. I will stay with your pet during a potty break and play time. I will keep your pets leashed and safe during walks. I can even stay the night to ensure safety.

About: I am careful to heed owners instructions on how to care for their furbaby to create peace of mind and maintain a respectful relationship between the animals and humans. I work Full-time on the weekend. I can accept reservations and check-ins starting by 3PM on Mondays. Pets must be checked-out/picked up by 3PM Saturday. Currently have 2 Siberian huskies to entertain your pooch. Both huskies are well-socialized and engage very well with other canines. House is cleaned and sanitized on the daily to prevent any contagious illnesses. Exercise is done through nature trails in the area. If owners are comfortable with dog parks, I am a member to multiple private dog parks to ensure privacy and freedom to run around from other unauthorized/stranger canines.
