My schedule is exceptionally flexible and open, meaning my entire daily and weekly routine revolves completely around the pets in my care, allowing me to maintain your pet's exact feeding, bathroom, and medication schedules without interruption. Whether your dog needs frequent potty breaks, midday companionship, or an extra-long afternoon walk, I will be there to provide it. Pets will be under my constant supervision and are never left unattended. I have a spacious backyard with grassy areas for potty breaks, playtime, or just to relax in fresh air- all surrounded by a privacy fence with secure locks at all points of entry. This is a non-smoking home. No candles or harmful cleaning chemicals are EVER used when pets are in my care and I always make sure their food/water stays clean and fresh. Pets are always safely leashed for neighborhood walks. Also, your dogs will have access to my entire home, including a fully finished basement which provides plenty of extra space and new scenery. If I am visiting the pet-owners home, I promise to treat your home with the utmost respect. I will double-check that all doors are securely locked every time I exit your property and all other guidelines given are followed. I always provide regular photo, video, and text updates throughout the day, so you always know exactly how your baby is doing. About: I've been surrounded by animals my whole life, and I wouldn't have it any other way. At home in Colombia, my house was full of paws: four cats, a shepherd dog, and a beagle before that. I've also pet sat for friends' dogs, including a Yorkie and a Cocker Spaniel. I have a special patience for puppies: the training, the energy, the chaos; I genuinely love it. And since I'm not working right now, your pet gets my full attention, all day long. No rushing home after a shift, just 100% focused, loving care. I live in Hyde Park, right in front of Harold Washington Park, and just minutes from Jackson Park, so long walks and outdoor playtime are always on the menu! I considered studying veterinary but realized I simply can't stand seeing animals suffer, which tells you everything about how much I care. My goal is simple: to make your pet feel as loved as mine do back home. Since I'm currently not working, pet care fits perfectly and naturally into my entire day. I wake up late morning, which means lazy morning cuddles are always on the table, perfect for cats or calm dogs who love a slow start to the day. From there, my day is completely flexible and centered around the pet's routine, whether that's feeding, litter care, playtime at home, or heading out for a walk to Harold Washington Park or Jackson Park, both just minutes from my place. I'm also available for overnight stays, so pets never have to spend the night alone or anxious in an unfamiliar space. At my home in Hyde Park: My apartment is a calm and loving space, no other pets, so your furry friend gets all the attention. I'm home all day, which means no long lonely hours. For cats, I make sure to provide a comfortable, stress-free environment, respecting their need for space and routine. For dogs, living right in front of Harold Washington Park and minutes from Jackson Park means fresh air and walks are always just steps away. I also offer overnight stays, so pets can settle in and feel truly at home. At your home: I understand that many pets, especially cats, feel most comfortable in their own space. When visiting your home, I follow your pet's established routine as closely as possible, feeding schedules, litter care, favorite toys, nap spots. I don't just stop by quickly, I stay long enough for real playtime and genuine connection. In both cases: I treat every pet like my own. Growing up with cats, dogs, and everything in between taught me to read animal behavior, respect their boundaries, and give them the kind of love and patience they deserve.
