About: I have been a dog lover for many years and had the privilege of taking care of a chihuahua and a pug throughout their lives. Being a pet owner taught me the importance of patience and paying attention to each dogs needs and personality. I understand that pets are family, and i know how important it is to find someone you can trust. Whether we’re going for a walk, playing, or just relaxing together, I’ll provide attentive and loving care every step of the way. I’m currently working part-time, which gives me flexibility to provide care to your pup after work during the weekends. I’m completely available on wednesdays and weekends. Your pets safely and comfort are my top priorities. I have a calm, secure environment with a fenced yard for supervised outdoor time. I currently do not have any animals so your animals can enjoy an stress-free environment. As for in-home visits, I follow all instructions closely to maintain their routine and ensure they feel secure and cared for in their home.

My schedule is exceptionally flexible and open, meaning my entire daily and weekly routine revolves completely around the pets in my care.I am home throughout the day, allowing me to maintain your pet's exact feeding, bathroom, and medication schedules without interruption. Whether your dog needs frequent potty breaks, midday companionship, or an extra-long afternoon walk, I am fully available to provide it. I am home full-time, so pets are under constant supervision and are never left unattended. I have a spacious backyard with grassy areas for potty breaks, playtime, or just to relax in fresh air, all surrounded by a privacy fence with secure locks at points of entry. This is a non-smoking home. No candles or harmful cleaning chemicals are EVER used when pets are in my care and I always make sure their food/water stays clean and fresh. Pets are always safely leashed for neighborhood walks. I also have a fully finished basement that is perfect to provide plenty of extra space. If I am visiting the pet-owners home, I promise to treat your home with the utmost respect, and will double-check that all doors are securely locked every time I exit your property and all other guidelines given are followed. I will always provide regular photo, video, and text updates throughout the day, so you always know exactly how your baby is doing. Ultimately, I care for every pet with the same deep love that I gave my own best buddy.

About: I have over 13 years experience doing vet assistant and vet technician tasks and skills as a volunteer at The Animal Welfare League in Chicago Ridge, IL. I have been employed as part of the membership and philanthropic department at Lincoln Park Zoo from which I learned a great deal, stemming from my biology classes on taxonomy to zoology, to specific animal facts and conservation of threatened animals. I therefore know a great deal of educational background on animal behavior. I studied psychology and comparitive human psychology/animal behavior with a bachelors in science from IIT. I have grown up with dogs, cats, and ferrets. At Southwest Animal Care Center, I bathed, fed, walked, medicated, and cared for boarding and patient animals. I graduated with my veterinary assistant certificate in 2018. After graduating from IIT, I became a kennel attendant and learned a great deal about how to care for animals. Pet care is a daily task for me as I take care for two little fuzzbutt ferrets, Icarus and Agatha. Icarus often wakes me up with his bushy tailed excitement. I'm lucky to have such wonderful critters in my life. Right now, I am only offering dog walking and off-site at client's home services. From what I've read from the anthropologist book "Inside of a Dog" by Alexandra Horowitz, animals, especially dogs, crave human attention so being attentive to an animal's needs is to me, what's most important. This includes communicating with animals to know when they need a bathroom break, when they want play, when they want affection and cuddles, when they want nappy time, being fed according to what their schedule is, and of course, offering healthy treats (if allowed) and new novel smells, toys, etc. I can manage 4-5 walks per day with one or multiple dogs at a time 5-6 days a week. This is my main job and I'm dedicated to providing top care as if they are my own. I take extra care to be a courteous and contentious guest in the owner's home. I treat my stay with respect and humbly care. You can trust me to provide excellent care and keep everything tidy and clean.

About: Hi friends, my name is Carla, and I LOVE animals. Anyone who knows me, can vouch for that. I’ve grown up having a numerous amount of pets, all different sizes, and kinds! Pretty much anything my parents would let me bring home since I was a toddler. I’ve had dogs and cats of all sizes, snakes, turtles, birds, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, you name it! This didn’t stop in my adult hood, I currently have 3 dogs, 3 cats, and 2 turtles, whom are all rescues! I have been in the animal field for 6+ years, working in shelters, emergency hospitals, surgical units, and general clinics as a veterinary technician. I am highly experienced with anxious/reactive pets, senior pets, neonatal pets, or even pets with medical needs. About: The dog in my pictures was Winnie. She was my first dog and was a rescue from Tuscaloosa while I was finishing up my last year at The University of Alabama. Although she was more of a couch potato, she was a great learning experience for how to handle shelter dogs and dogs in general. We had another dog and a cat as well in the house with never any issues….even whenever Alabama lost believe it or not. I prefer the later afternoon and night shifts due to the fact I work in an office every day. Weekends and holidays I am free all day. I prefer to use the client's yard or take them to a park. My yard is only size appropriate for smaller dogs but still fenced in if your dog is not very active.

About: I absolutely love animals. I have previously worked at a pet store where I had the responsibility of taking care of cats, kittens, dogs, puppies, reptiles, and exotic animals. I am heavily involved in the fitness world currently and I occasionally go to the gym and do my home workouts which my schedule can always be adjusted. Pet care will be no problem at all!
