I have a big fenced in backyard and a dog of my own for your pup to play with, he's about 50lbs. and loves to play ball.

About: I am careful to heed owners instructions on how to care for their furbaby to create peace of mind and maintain a respectful relationship between the animals and humans. I work Full-time on the weekend. I can accept reservations and check-ins starting by 3PM on Mondays. Pets must be checked-out/picked up by 3PM Saturday. Currently have 2 Siberian huskies to entertain your pooch. Both huskies are well-socialized and engage very well with other canines. House is cleaned and sanitized on the daily to prevent any contagious illnesses. Exercise is done through nature trails in the area. If owners are comfortable with dog parks, I am a member to multiple private dog parks to ensure privacy and freedom to run around from other unauthorized/stranger canines.

About: I've owned and cared for all kinds of animals my whole life. Professionally, I have experience working as a dog handler, kennel attendant, dog bather, and groomer. I also have extensive experience working and caring for cats, horses, and various small animals. My +3 years working at a dog daycare facility had me safely handling a pack of up to 25 dogs; providing exercise & engagement, soft corrections, and positive reinforcement. To do so, it was necessary to be observant and in tune with the dog's behavior and always on the lookout for any signs of stress or aggression. As a bather and groomer, I was focused on hygiene but a large aspect of the job relied on my knowledge of dog behavior and training techniques. I've owned cats my entire life and have worked with a TNR rescue the past few years getting pregnant females and unneutered male cats fixed and adopted. I have a soft spot for cats & dogs who need a little help with socialization and training. I have experience with a vast variety of dog breeds, sizes, and needs - from miniature pinchers, to border collies, huskies, pitbulls, cane corsos and more! I also have 5+ years of experience working in behavior analysis, and am well-versed in reinforcement-based training. I work from home full-time with flexibility in my working hours. I don't currently have any pets of my own, which allows me to provide the ideal environment for dogs or cats who may need a quieter space or one-on-one attention. NO SIZE OR BREED RESTRICTIONS! I am home the majority of the time, though I may leave for 1-2 hours weekly to run errands. I do have crates available for pets who need them when home alone. I use pet-safe cleaning products and anything that may be potentially harmful is safely out of reach - I don't take risks. All of my windows have screens & I've mastered the art of entering a home without letting any curious animals escape. My apartment building has a pretty big yard, though is only fenced in on 3 sides. However, I am idealy located near miles of dog-friendly trails that can be reached on foot. I also prefer to use harnesses for dog walking as opposed to just collars, and have one available that can fit a dog up to 65lbs. I do NOT and will not use choke collars of any kind. I am pretty flexible overall this summer! I have trained my dogs in the crate and they have learned about 10 tricks. I will play with your fur baby until they need a break! My home has a secure fence and have crates for my own dogs. Your fur baby’s wellbeing and safety is my priority. I have many dog toys and blankets for them to snuggle and play with.

We have a 90 lb doberman, so I needed someone who would be active with her as she needs lots of exercise. Melanie fit the bill! She came over a few times so she and Kai could become comfortable with each other, and we left town with little concern. Melanie gave Kai all the required attention And sent me videos and pics of the walks/runs and play each day. From what I could see and her daily logs, Melanie looked as forward to seeing Kai as Kai was to see her. I would 100% have Melanie back the next time we are out of town.”

About: I love pets. My family has 3 dogs, the oldest we have had for 14 years. I’ve had experience caring for my dogs, feeding them, washing them, and tending to any wounds or illnesses they have. I have also taken care of friends pets which has allowed me to learn how to interact with different types of dogs. I work remotely from home and will be able to give your pets so much attention and love. I’m available for boarding Monday through Friday at any hours. I live in a great neighborhood so your pets will be safe going on walks. I also live near a park I think pets would enjoy walking through. All pets will be allowed on couches and sofas but I will also respect any trainings or boundaries the owners have. My top priority is your pets safety and to make sure they are comfortable and happy, this is why I only care for one pet a day. I will care for multiple pets from the same family/house.

About: I have done Dogsitting, mostly for my friends. I'm willing to do overnights at your place if you prefer. I am currently working.. My work schedule changes. I have 2 dogs, Gunny and Cooper. Both are 3 years old. I do not work with aggressive furkids. I can do the medicines if you show me what to do. I'll play, or let your furkids cuddle! I'll take them for walks. Or let them run around in the yard. Basically, I want your furkids to be in a home, not at a kennel being caged for longer period of a time. If I am to stay at your house, my Gunny and Cooper won't be coming with me. He will stay home with his Daddy. If I am staying at your place, I'm also willing to take the time to water your plants as long you provide instructions (when and which plants) and bring in the mails for you. My schedule changes now and then. It may or may not work out. Just know that I am willing to make it work for your furkids. At your house, I will treat your furkids just as my own furkids. I will do my best to keep their routine so they are comfortable.
