Olivia did a wonderful job on the drop in visits for my dog. She was on time and followed my directions very well. She sent lots of pictures and took great care of him. I will be using Olivia in the future for walks, drop ins and vacations.

Edgar was easy to work with and very attentive to my cat. My cat is a senior and I mix meds into her breakfast plate. He was able to accommodate her schedule. I would not hesitate to have him take care of her the next time I need a cat sitter!

Lexi is amazing! I was fortunate to find her in a last-minute situation, and she enthusiastically took on three drop-in visits with less than 24 hours’ notice. My timid rescue beagle warmed up to her immediately, she followed very specific instructions perfectly, and I will definitely be using her services again!

About: Ever since I was a kid, I’ve just really cherished being around animals, even the ones who aren’t super cuddly. I have a lot of patience and respect for each pet’s personality and comfort level, and I do my best to make them feel safe, happy, and cared for while their people are away. I work full time during the week and try to stay busy on the weekend, but I will absolutely work my weekend schedule around you/your pet’s needs. I have a big fenced backyard and plenty of space inside for house-trained pets to relax, whether that’s on the couch, a comfy chair, or the floor. I share my home with one dog, a terrier mix named Minnie. She’s playful and friendly, but if your dog prefers to keep to themselves, I can easily keep them separated. Older dogs sometimes find her a bit too energetic, while younger pups usually have a great time playing with her.

About: I have grown up around dogs since I was born. I have always loved caring for and interacting with dogs. I do not have my own dog currently, but would love to help care for others! I am currently substitute teaching at an elementary school, so there may be weekdays I am unavailable. I am currently not working full time, so I will be available to walk your dog(s) throughout the week! I am open to walking as far as needed for your pup. I have experience safely walking more energized dogs, so your dog will be in good hands! I have also walked up to 3 dogs at a time (various sizes) if you have more than one that needs to be walked a time.

About: I grew up with animals and currently don’t have any of my own. I’m hoping to fill this gap by pet-sitting for others and taking care of your four-legged family members as my own! I am a full-time therapist at a private practice so my schedule is not typical. I primarily work late afternoons to evenings for short shifts so I am home during the day. I even have Mondays completely off. I will ensure that your pet is able to get their energy out early in the day, so by the evening they are ready to rest, relax, and be loved on. I have a large fenced in yard and already go on daily 1 mile walks, having a pet to join me would be great for myself and your pet’s energy!

My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. I am currently working full time so my time currently is limited. I am available Friday nights, Saturdays and Sundays. All day Saturdays and Sundays Be patient and calm with pets that are withdrawn or scared. Pets are sensitive to change and may be missing their people; maintain their schedule as much as possible. About: Hi.! I have had experience training my first dog, chocolate Labrador when I was a bit younger in potty training, basic commands and fetch. He was a very hyper dog, but we made sure to train him well.! I now have a standard Goldendoodle that weighs just over 80 pounds. His name is Teddy. He is turning 4 in November and is very mild-mannered, completely opposite of the chocolate lab we use to have.! We go on daily walks of at least 2 miles.! I can’t wait to care for your furry pet like I do mine.! I work full-time, but I have flexibility with my schedule. I do not work a 9-5 job so I am able to make my own hours and schedule. I have dog-sitter for friends and family before in their homes so I always make sure to treat their dog like I do mine. I make sure to clean up after them, am aware of mine and their surroundings when on walks and at parks.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I was never allowed to have a dog growing up so I would help out my neighbors wherever i was living at the time when they were at work. I also volunteered at an animal shelter for a couple years and went through proper training on how to take care of and make both dogs and cats feel as comfortable as possible. I was finally able to convince my parents to let me have a dog and I have been the main caretaker of my golden doodle smudge for about three years now I have recently switched jobs so I have a lot more free time on my hands and am finally able to get started with Rover after wanting to job for years. This way I can take care of and love on all of the animals and I can take some of the responsibilities off of another animal parent because I know it can be hard sometimes. My dog gets two meals a day and a snack around lunch time. We go on a short morning walk and a longer evening walk after dinner. For overnight house sitting my goal is to make sure to follow the routines that clients already have in place for their pets as not to change their schedules. My boyfriend Cameron and I love taking care of the dogs and giving them a special staycation

About: Hi, I’m Jhadira! 👋 I recently experienced a layoff from my corporate HR career, so I’m taking this opportunity to spend my time doing something I truly love, caring for dogs! I’m located in the La Grange area and have a large, fully fenced backyard that’s perfect for safe, supervised playtime. I share my home with my two spoiled pups, Charlie and August, and I also help care for my family’s senior dog, Tony. Caring for dogs through every stage of life has taught me that each one has their own personality, routine, and unique needs. I have over 7 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. My experience includes potty training puppies, working with high-maintenance dogs, caring for puppies undergoing treatment for intestinal worms and other temporary medical needs, administering oral medications, basic obedience training for both puppies and older dogs, walking and running with active dogs, and providing extra patience and specialized care for senior dogs. Whether your dog is full of energy, needs a little extra attention, or enjoys a slower pace, I’m happy to tailor my care to what makes them feel most comfortable. I’m also training for a half-marathon myself so if your dog needs that outdoor exercise I would gladly love the company on my runs! As a dog mom myself, I know how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member with someone else. That’s why I treat every dog as if they were my own. Their safety, happiness, and well-being are always my highest priorities. I’ll follow your dog’s routine closely, provide regular photo and video updates, and make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, exercise, and enrichment while you’re away. Over the years, I’ve also built relationships with wonderful local pet professionals. If you ever need recommendations, I’m happy to share trusted groomers and veterinarians that I’ve had great experiences with. Whether your pup loves long walks, backyard zoomies, playing fetch, learning new tricks, or curling up for a nap, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home. I can’t wait to meet you and your best friend! Open schedule, I have my own two dogs I look after but have all day to drop in for a walk or to check in on yours! I have a tight schedule with my own dogs and will make sure to make your fur baby feel as safe and loved as if they were home.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Willow Springs choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Willow Springs with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
