Kathryn also diligently communicated about house challenges and solved them— again, going above and beyond. She is very flexible, patient. understanding, and helpful. Somehow Kathryn also made time to leave the house in perfect condition, exactly as she found it. She is a fantastic worker and pet whisperer, and we hope she will come back many times in the future.”

About: I’ve had experience with dogs since I was a child, along with many other types of animals. I’ve always loved caring for pets and my goal is to some day own an animal farm. You can trust your pet is in good hands, as I have 3 of my own that mean the world to me. My day revolves around pets care, it is definitely my first priority over anything else. Not only is there time to walk, but there is definitely time to play! Animals each need time dedicated to them individually and should feel special. We have a 3 story house, with a beautiful back yard. A cleaning crew keeps our house spotless and free from any pet dangers. You can trust your pet is in good hands when staying with us.

About: Dogs are my favorite animal! Why? Because they are loyal, caring, fun and you already know this because you own one! :) I have a shepherd mix who I love dearly. I used to volunteer at West suburban humane society, and have dealt with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I feel comfortable around dogs and have lots of experience. I treat them like a member of the family. I love all animals, so if you have cats rabbits etc I will not be bothered. I have been around dogs since childhood and working with dogs is a dream of mine. If your dog needs medicine I have experience with that as well. I am extra gentle with senior dogs and can keep up with puppies I have a flexible schedule so I can work with your schedule. We can discuss your pets needs so I can accommodate your schedule easily. I follow owner instructions precisely and ask questions if anything seems unclear. Pet safety is always my number one priority. If I think a pet may not be safe for anyone I always reach out to the owner.

“Awesome! We were so lucky to have Heidi watch our dogs while we were on vacation! She was so sweet and caring with them, handled all of their medication and care needs, sent frequent updates, and left our home in perfect condition. She even took out our trash cans on garbage day without being asked. Typically when we have gone on vacation, we have been worried about our dogs the entire time, but not with Heidi. She put us at ease every day and was so great with then. When we came back, both our dogs were happy and calm - a great change from when we would pick them up from boarding or come home to our prior dog sitter in the past. If you need a dog sitter you can trust while away, I cannot recommend Heidi enough. She truly is the best!”

Growing up in Brazil, I cared for dogs, cats, birds, chickens, and other small animals. I am comfortable with feeding, walking dogs, cleaning litter boxes, giving attention, playing, and making pets feel safe and loved. I carefully follow feeding schedules, routines, medications, and any special instructions. I create a calm, loving environment where pets feel secure and comfortable.
