“Barbara was amazing with our little pup, Brucie. She is quick with communication, so caring, and you can tell that she really loves (and knows!) dogs. We got many pictures and updates throughout the day and Brucie always looked happy. Highly recommend. We will use Barbara again in the future.”

“Susseth is an excellent sitter and host. This was my first time leaving my dog anywhere. Susseth went out of her way to make me feel at ease taking the time to introduce my dog to her pack and ensuring that it will be a good experience for both my dog and hers. Her dogs are well behaved and welcoming of my dog. I was totally at ease and felt comfortable. I received updates on my dog during her stay, which was nice. We will be back to visit with Susseth. I highly recommend Susseth.”

“Sarai took care of our 2 boys for a whole week. We were really glad we chose her to dog sit our babies. All week we received updates and pictures of our boys having a blast. They looked so happy and well taken care of. They enjoyed the huge backyard to run and play around. Her family is so welcoming and loving. There was always great communication and will definitely take my pups back to her to dog sit in the future. Overall a great experience !”

“Shirley is without a a doubt the best sitter we’ve ever had. It’s clear she truly cares about animals with her whole heart and treats every time she sits our pup as if he were her own. We keep coming back to Shirley again and again because of how easily she relieves us of any worry about how our pup is doing, and how happy he is to be with her while we’re gone. We highly recommend her for any type of service, and especially boarding in her home!”

“Mercedes did an absolutely phenomenal job caring for my dog, Mugzy, during his first three-week stay with her. Mugzy can be incredibly nervous when separated from me, which made me highly anxious about leaving him with a sitter for the first time. Mercedes completely eased my worries with her warm, welcoming nature and exceptional organization. She gave Mugzy extra special attention, making him feel loved and completely at home. He had a wonderful time socializing with Mercedes and her children. Thanks to this experience, I feel entirely confident leaving him in her care for my upcoming travel. To top it all off, Mercedes baked delicious brownies for me, made special treats for Mugzy, and gave him a bath so he was fresh and clean at pickup. She even provided a detailed report card tracking his progress! I am incredibly grateful for Mercedes and highly recommend her to anyone looking for top-tier care for their furry family member.”

This is my 7 year old, Shih Tzu’s 3rd time with Sarai & she loves it over there. She’s always ready & available with a positive, welcoming attitude to Jazz & helps her feel comfortable Sarai’s communication/updates can sometime be a little off, but she eventually gets back to me in 24 hours or less. Jazz always comes back happy & healthy.

Sandra was absolutely wonderful in taking care of Ellie! From our initial meeting to the final pickup, everything was seamless and stress-free. Thank you, Sandra—We will definitely use your service again!
We had a great experience with Chloe. She and her boyfriend took great care of our little boy during our trip. Communications were easy. They are very detailed and took the time to learn about our boy’s habits & likes/dislikes to make sure he has a comfortable stay. We would definitely have them watch our boy again.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
