“I came home to happy pups, that’s all I can ask for. Lizbeth was very sweet with my 3 dogs who all differ in personality. She was easy to communicate with and kept me updated while I was away. I will be using her again for future sitting needs.”

“Kathryn took excellent care of my Buddy. She was very responsive and sent many photos throughout the day. He’s not the easiest dog to care for, so I was impressed with how easily he took to her and how well she cared for him. 10/10 would recommend.”

About: I’m a pet lover excited to offer caring, reliable pet sitting and walking services. While I’m just starting out, I bring tons of energy, love, and attention to every pet I meet. Your pet’s happiness and comfort are my top priority, think of me as their new favorite buddy. I’m currently a part-time home caregiver who has a passion for learning and loves spending time with pets ☺️ I currently do not have pets at home so spending time with yours is the highlight of my day. I treat your space with the same respect I’d want for my own and your pet like family. I bring a genuine love for animals, attention to detail, and a calm, caring presence. I’ll follow your routines closely, keep you updated, and make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved.
“Tara is outstanding! She goes above & beyond. Tara is very kind to my dogs & treats them like her own babies. I can tell they were so happy and well taken care of. My dogs love her & we appreciate the comfort & walks she provided to them.”

About: I treat every pup like my own. If your dog isn't napping or resting, we'll be active and engaged. That may include playing with their favorite toy, going on a walk, or getting plenty of belly rubs and pats. I believe dogs thrive on love, attention, and activity. Therefore, I make sure they're never bored or lonely. I'm currently a student at UIC with one class online and one class in person. My schedule is very flexible, which allows me plenty time for walks, drop-ins and overnight care. Your dogs safety and comfort are my top priorities. On walks, I let your pep lead the way so they can explore at their own pace. I love finding nearby parks where they can burn energy. It I'm caring for a pet in your home, I'll always follow your instructions closely to maintain their normal routine.
“Nicole did an amazing job! She tried her best to maintain the same schedule our dog is used to. She took her out for walks and kept her mind mentally challenged. I will definitely use her services again.”

“Patricia was an incredible sitter for my two cats, Kimchi and Bumi! Her communication was clear, prompt, and consistent throughout the stay, I always felt in the loop. She was flexible with a few last-minute changes, which I really appreciated. But what truly stood out was how thoughtful she was: with a major back injury, I couldn’t manage the litter or trash, and she kindly took care of both without hesitation. Her support made it possible for me to actually enjoy my trip without worry. Highly recommend Patricia, your pets (and you) will be in great hands!”

“Omgosh...I haven't seen my pups happier with any one other than my husband & I; until Angelina came along. VERY conscientious, caring, neat, & clean. Left the house the same or better than when I left. Dogs were so well cared for. They were happy and relaxed when I got home, like I never left. Easy to communicate with as well. Very responsive and timely. I look forward to having her return to my pups as a later date.”

About: Dogs are my favorite animal! Why? Because they are loyal, caring, fun and you already know this because you own one! :) I have a shepherd mix who I love dearly. I used to volunteer at West suburban humane society, and have dealt with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I feel comfortable around dogs and have lots of experience. I treat them like a member of the family. I love all animals, so if you have cats rabbits etc I will not be bothered. I have been around dogs since childhood and working with dogs is a dream of mine. If your dog needs medicine I have experience with that as well. I am extra gentle with senior dogs and can keep up with puppies I have a flexible schedule so I can work with your schedule. We can discuss your pets needs so I can accommodate your schedule easily. I follow owner instructions precisely and ask questions if anything seems unclear. Pet safety is always my number one priority. If I think a pet may not be safe for anyone I always reach out to the owner.
“Patrick was great to work with! He took great care of our dog and cats while we were out of town. We set up some walks with my dog so she could get comfortable with him. He responded quickly to check-ins and any questions we had!! We’ll be using him again for sure!”

About: Hi, I’m Lauren! I work from home, which gives me a flexible daytime schedule, and I’m also available evenings and weekends. I’m comfortable administering both pill and liquid oral medications, so you can feel confident your pet will be well cared for. I currently have two dogs and two cats of my own, and I’ve had animals my entire life, caring for them truly comes naturally to me. Being part of Rover has been a great way for me to not only do something I love, but also help support my own pets’ medical care. I treat every animal like they’re part of my family and always aim to provide a safe, loving, and stress free experience. I work from home so I enjoy getting out of the house and going on walks later in the day. On the weekends I like to stay busy. I always try to meet your pets while you're home if possible, this helps keep your pets from getting anxious meeting a new face. When going on walks I try to meet the dogs pace to make them as comfortable as possible, I often go on runs with my own dogs. Please let me know if there is anything extra I can do to ensure your pets comfort.
“Melanie was great with our dogs! She sent us lots of pictures of them having fun while we’re we’re away. They were so happy and had lots of energy when we got home. And our home was just as we left it! Thank you so much!”

“Cristian was perfect with Mochi! The meet and greet was super helpful and he was super easy to communicate with. He sent me multiple pictures and videos throughout the day to keep me updated. If I am ever back in town, I will definitely book with him again! :)”

About: I have over 13 years experience doing vet assistant and vet technician tasks and skills as a volunteer at The Animal Welfare League in Chicago Ridge, IL. I have been employed as part of the membership and philanthropic department at Lincoln Park Zoo from which I learned a great deal, stemming from my biology classes on taxonomy to zoology, to specific animal facts and conservation of threatened animals. I therefore know a great deal of educational background on animal behavior. I studied psychology and comparitive human psychology/animal behavior with a bachelors in science from IIT. I have grown up with dogs, cats, and ferrets. At Southwest Animal Care Center, I bathed, fed, walked, medicated, and cared for boarding and patient animals. I graduated with my veterinary assistant certificate in 2018. After graduating from IIT, I became a kennel attendant and learned a great deal about how to care for animals. Pet care is a daily task for me as I take care for two little fuzzbutt ferrets, Icarus and Agatha. Icarus often wakes me up with his bushy tailed excitement. I'm lucky to have such wonderful critters in my life. Right now, I am only offering dog walking and off-site at client's home services. From what I've read from the anthropologist book "Inside of a Dog" by Alexandra Horowitz, animals, especially dogs, crave human attention so being attentive to an animal's needs is to me, what's most important. This includes communicating with animals to know when they need a bathroom break, when they want play, when they want affection and cuddles, when they want nappy time, being fed according to what their schedule is, and of course, offering healthy treats (if allowed) and new novel smells, toys, etc. I can manage 4-5 walks per day with one or multiple dogs at a time 5-6 days a week. This is my main job and I'm dedicated to providing top care as if they are my own. I take extra care to be a courteous and contentious guest in the owner's home. I treat my stay with respect and humbly care. You can trust me to provide excellent care and keep everything tidy and clean.

Lizbeth did a fantastic job taking care of Enzo. She kept me updated with messages and pictures, which I really appreciated. It was clear she spent quality time with him playing and taking him for walks. Enzo was very happy and comfortable with her. She also left the house in perfect shape. Lizbeth is the best, and I would absolutely recommend her.
