About: What sets me apart for other sitters is that I have them enjoy their walks at their own pace. In my years of experience, I have not only taken care of dogs but also cats just to name a few. Every animal is unique in their own way so being kind goes a long way. I like to have the owners as well as the dogs comfortable with me so I obtain as much information from the owners regarding their furry friends as I can. I am currently free to play, drop-in or bring your furry baby home with me. Whatever your pets needs are, I am here to help. I have a big backyard where I normally allow the dogs to run and play. But it does not have a fence in one area where the driveway begins. My home has two floors which the downstairs I use for the dogs to lay down, play or sleep. I do own a dog myself but she isn't allowed to interact with guests dogs unless previously approved by the guests parents first. I also have cameras, where I can capture video and photos to send to the pet parents.

“I want to acknowledge how professional and well organized Iman handles her business. I am a first time pet owner and Rover user. I had to leave town for 6 days for a vacation. I will be ordering food for him. I will also use Iman for all my future pet needs. I think I have hit a goldmine with her services. I have no need to seek out anyone else. I am throughly satisfied with the love and care provided to my Ace. My trip was extended a day due to unforeseen circumstances at the airport and Iman did not hesitate to provide extended care. “Lorraine is the best! She went above and beyond what I could have ever expected a sitter to do for my dog, Eazy. Eazy doesn't get along well with other dogs and Lorraine offered to drive out to the South Loop to pickup / drop off so that there were no encounters with other dogs. And it was even better that Eazy loved her home / yard so much so that I had a hard time getting her to come home! This was our second stay with Lorraine and I'm sure it won't be the last.”
About: I grew up with dogs, worked at PetSmart for many years, continued dog sitting professionally, and raised my own current dog, Gizmo, from 5 weeks old. I have gone through extensive training and I use that to help others with training issues when I can. I've been through various medical issues and found the appropriate care, including for a choking dog. I am an artist and like to photograph or draw they dogs I care for - have done separate pet portrait work not included with dog sitting. I like to try to really communicate with and understand each dog in their own circumstances. I have a dog park available just a short walk down the street. I have the ability to schedule working from home if needed. Typically, if you would like your dog to stay at my home, they will be sharing space with my dog, Gizmo. So please communicate if you need special consideration for alone time. I take walks or visit the dog park in the mornings. I typically work 10 to 6 Monday through Friday at an office, but can schedule days to work from home if a dog is staying and can not be left for a long period of time. My dog is Gizmo. He is okay with other dogs and will typically play a little outside and leave your dog to have their own space inside. You will need to discuss your situation with me if your dog needs alone time with me as I would need to address Gizmo's care under those circumstances. My house is on the smaller side, but the yard is fenced in and is reasonably sized. There is a dog door available to allow easy access to the yard. Dogs are allowed on couches and the bed in my home. I have one large crate if you would like your dog to use one. Each room can be closed off if separation is needed. If I am caring for a dog in another home, I need to take the same consideration for Gizmo. Please share your needs so we can adjust as necessary.

Had a meet and greet with Cary and her daughter. Juno immediately leaned into her daughter which was a good sign (picked her person). Cary carefully introduced her to her dog and explained how she would care for Juno. I had to make several changes and Cary was very understanding and accommodating which was a stress reliever for me. I picked up Juno and she was so happy to see me unlike my previous experience with another sitter where Juno appeared to be mad at me (lol). Well Juno has been on the couch resting so I know she had a good time otherwise she wouldn’t be so tired. Cary responded to my text and sent video of Juno. Oh and Juno smelled so good and looked good when I picked her up. I felt that Juno was well taken care of. Thank you Cary (and fam) will definitely be using Cary again!
This was our 1st time using Rover and thanks to Susseth it was a great experience. We have a senior dog, Coco who has special needs because she is diabetic and blind. Susseth followed all of her feeding and medication schedule. She would send pictures of her finished bowl of food and shot. Susseth is very communicative and definitively gave us peace of mind. Lauren has taken care of my dog Kylo, three times and I couldn't be happier with her care. Lauren is an amazing dog sitter and I always feel comfortable leaving Kylo with her. Since Kylo is diabetic it is especially important that he stays on his feeding schedule and receives his insulin injections on time, and Lauren is incredibly responsible and attentive to his needs. She provides multiple updates throughout the day, including pictures, detailed messages and even Wooftrax updates so I know how long his walks are. Kylo is very comfortable with her, and she does such a wonderful job of making him feel safe and cared for. I feel incredibly lucky to have found such a trustworthy and caring dog sitter for our baby. We truly appreciate everything Lauren does for our precious pup and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable, compassionate, and attentive pet sitter.
Michelle was prompt in communicating whenever something came up with Bramble that she needed clarification on. She was quick to respond for all the administrative arranging also. She was easy-going and calm. Bramble seemed comfortable being with her. I got daily photos to enjoy. I believe people would be very satisfied and secure leaving their pet with Michelle. I was!
Athena is BEYOND WONDERFUL. I was driving into Chicago from out of town, only about 90 minutes away from dropping my pups off with their original sitter when he had to cancel. Immediately, I went into solution mode, scrambling to find someone to care for my three babies. Athena responded promptly and swooped in to help on extremely short notice. Athena was trustworthy, sent lots of photo updates, and my pups took to her right away. They clearly enjoyed exploring her fenced backyard and seemed completely comfortable in her care. When I picked them up, we talked for quite a while, and I was so grateful that she answered the call when I needed help. She is truly a kind soul with a sweet spirit, and I genuinely feel like God placed her on our path. She is so loving and treats my babies like they are on vacation; I call her home Disney World! 🤣
Olivia kept my baby Leah for the weekend while I went out of town, and I was honestly nervous because anyone who knows me knows how I feel about my baby. But Olivia was amazing. She sent tons of pictures and updates the whole time, which really helped me relax. She even gave Leah extra treats and sent her home with some too. I ended up needing to extend my trip unexpectedly, and Olivia was super understanding and flexible about it. That meant a lot to me. Leah was clearly well taken care of and loved while she was there. Olivia will forever be my baby’s home whenever I’m away. I’m so grateful I found her!
