About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I was never allowed to have a dog growing up so I would help out my neighbors wherever i was living at the time when they were at work. I also volunteered at an animal shelter for a couple years and went through proper training on how to take care of and make both dogs and cats feel as comfortable as possible. I was finally able to convince my parents to let me have a dog and I have been the main caretaker of my golden doodle smudge for about three years now I have recently switched jobs so I have a lot more free time on my hands and am finally able to get started with Rover after wanting to job for years. About: Ever since I was a kid, I’ve just really cherished being around animals, even the ones who aren’t super cuddly. I have a lot of patience and respect for each pet’s personality and comfort level, and I do my best to make them feel safe, happy, and cared for while their people are away. I work full time during the week and try to stay busy on the weekend, but I will absolutely work my weekend schedule around you/your pet’s needs. I have a big fenced backyard and plenty of space inside for house-trained pets to relax, whether that’s on the couch, a comfy chair, or the floor. I share my home with one dog, a terrier mix named Minnie. She’s playful and friendly, but if your dog prefers to keep to themselves, I can easily keep them separated. Older dogs sometimes find her a bit too energetic, while younger pups usually have a great time playing with her.

Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
