About: I have always lived with dogs and love pet sitting for others! I aspire to be a veterinarian in the future because of my passion for animals. I interned at a vet clinic this past summer and gained valuable knowledge about pets and how to care for them. I have a very flexible schedule since I am currently home from college for the summer. I am available most days with a notice in advance. I have a fenced in yard and one dog at home. I will be able to walk and play with your dogs, as well as feed them if needed.
About: I've owned and cared for all kinds of animals my whole life. Professionally, I have experience working as a dog handler, kennel attendant, dog bather, and groomer. I also have extensive experience working and caring for cats, horses, and various small animals. My +3 years working at a dog daycare facility had me safely handling a pack of up to 25 dogs; providing exercise & engagement, soft corrections, and positive reinforcement. To do so, it was necessary to be observant and in tune with the dog's behavior and always on the lookout for any signs of stress or aggression. As a bather and groomer, I was focused on hygiene but a large aspect of the job relied on my knowledge of dog behavior and training techniques. I've owned cats my entire life and have worked with a TNR rescue the past few years getting pregnant females and unneutered male cats fixed and adopted. I also have pet care insurance with animal baliee coverage in case of emergencies. I always care for every animal as if they are my own and I understand how important it is for them to feel comfortable and loved. I work part-time on the night shift, so I'm usually out of the house between 9:30pm and 2am Monday through Friday. Outside of that- my schedule is flexible. I am available on most weekends and holidays. I only book one client at a time for pet sits and boarding, so your pet(s) will have my full attention. I live in a quiet suburban neighborhood with a huge, unfenced yard. I own a variety of animal care supplies and equipment.
“Lexi is amazing! I was fortunate to find her in a last-minute situation, and she enthusiastically took on three drop-in visits with less than 24 hours’ notice. My timid rescue beagle warmed up to her immediately, she followed very specific instructions perfectly, and I will definitely be using her services again!”

“I was able to find Jennifer quickly on the Rover app. I chose her by her profile and her close proximity to where I live. She responded very quickly to our request thru the app. She came for a short visit so we and our doberman could meet her. I wanted her also to feel comfortable with our large dog. We needed someone to come a couple of days around midday to fed, potty, walk and play our very active 8 month old 60 lb dog. We had her come for an hour each day. It was also the first time we were leaving her all day. Jennifer did exactly what was asked and says she looks forward to helping us out again. I know we will use her in the future.”

About: 𐂯 Meet & Greets ฅ ฅ Detailed updates with photos/videos ᵔᴥᵔ Puppies, senior pets, anxious dogs & medications I've had pets my entire life and currently have two huskies who are a big part of my life. I've also cared for pets for family, friends, and neighbors, and I've volunteered at animal shelters, where I spent time with dogs of different ages, temperaments, and backgrounds. I know how stressful it can be to find someone you feel comfortable leaving your pet with. I’ll make each experience as easy and reassuring as possible. My goal is to eventually work with animals full-time, and Rover gives me the opportunity to do more of what I love while helping people in my community. I enjoy figuring out what makes each pet feel comfortable and loved! Adjusting to them instead of expecting them to adjust to me. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playing outside, sticking to their usual routine, or simply having someone nearby, I'm happy to adapt to what makes them most comfortable and gives you peace of mind. You'll receive regular updates and photos throughout each visit so you always know how your pet is doing. About: I’m a pet lover excited to offer caring, reliable pet sitting and walking services. While I’m just starting out, I bring tons of energy, love, and attention to every pet I meet. Your pet’s happiness and comfort are my top priority, think of me as their new favorite buddy. I’m currently a part-time home caregiver who has a passion for learning and loves spending time with pets ☺️ I currently do not have pets at home so spending time with yours is the highlight of my day. I treat your space with the same respect I’d want for my own and your pet like family. I bring a genuine love for animals, attention to detail, and a calm, caring presence. I’ll follow your routines closely, keep you updated, and make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved.
About: Ever since I was a kid, I’ve just really cherished being around animals, even the ones who aren’t super cuddly. I have a lot of patience and respect for each pet’s personality and comfort level, and I do my best to make them feel safe, happy, and cared for while their people are away. I work full time during the week and try to stay busy on the weekend, but I will absolutely work my weekend schedule around you/your pet’s needs. I have a big fenced backyard and plenty of space inside for house-trained pets to relax, whether that’s on the couch, a comfy chair, or the floor. I share my home with one dog, a terrier mix named Minnie. She’s playful and friendly, but if your dog prefers to keep to themselves, I can easily keep them separated. Older dogs sometimes find her a bit too energetic, while younger pups usually have a great time playing with her.
“I will never go to another sitter, ever! She takes care of my cat who is an absolute terror to people, and Ethel is bery kind to her. She goes above and beyond every time I have her!”

“Amanda was amazing with my pup. She was very communicative and kept me updated with every drop in walk visit. She has a warm calm presence that made my pups feel comfortable with her immediately. I can’t thank her enough for being so great with my pup.”

“We couldn't be happier with Patrick's care for our two energetic pups while we were away on vacation. Right away, it was obvious that Patrick cared during the meet-and-greet. He made sure to understand every detail about their needs, routines, and how to give them their medications at lunch. He also made sure to update us on when he arrived and left and sent us photos. It was evident that he genuinely loves pets and takes caring for them seriously. Knowing our dogs were in such capable hands allowed us to enjoy our trip with peace of mind. We highly recommend Patrick to anyone in need of reliable and caring pet care, and we will definitely be utilizing his services again in the future. Thank you, Patrick, for your exceptional care of our furry family members!”

About: Hi.! I have had experience training my first dog, chocolate Labrador when I was a bit younger in potty training, basic commands and fetch. He was a very hyper dog, but we made sure to train him well.! I now have a standard Goldendoodle that weighs just over 80 pounds. His name is Teddy. He is turning 4 in November and is very mild-mannered, completely opposite of the chocolate lab we use to have.! We go on daily walks of at least 2 miles.! I can’t wait to care for your furry pet like I do mine.! I work full-time, but I have flexibility with my schedule. I do not work a 9-5 job so I am able to make my own hours and schedule. I have dog-sitter for friends and family before in their homes so I always make sure to treat their dog like I do mine. I make sure to clean up after them, am aware of mine and their surroundings when on walks and at parks.
About: I love being active and staying healthy by taking walks around the neighborhood! I would love to take that and create a side income with that enjoyment! I’m willing to walk with my “furry work out buddy”. I have over 6 years of experience with small/medium dogs. Family members and friends have trusted me with their animals- from walking their pet to even house sitting. I’d love to be able to do something I enjoy very much such as taking a walk- and sharing it with a furry friend! Please consider me as your dog walker and be assured your pet will get a great "work out" with a reliable walker! I currently have free time to spend walking your furry friends, I'd love to take them on a walk to get to know them. I have opened up my schedule to have free time to do this and am looking forward to a nice walk around the neighborhood. Ensuring the safety and well-being of your pets is my top priority. I am committed to keeping them secure and content while in my care, making certain they remain free from harm and receive the attention and care they deserve throughout our walk.
“Tatyanna was amazing! She took great care of my pups while I was out of town for 3 days. She is also a dog trainer which is wonderful, and my dogs quickly warmed up to her! Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
