Patrick was great at communicating with me, he made sure Chester was as comfortable as possible with all the 4th of July noise and offered to pick up outside after him. I really appreciated how easy the entire process was even when I had to change plans last minute with him! It is obvious Patrick is great with animals and I will definitely be using him again for care for my very particular fur baby!”

About: I am caring and patient, and will provide plenty of walks and playtime for your dog. I have raised two dogs to a healthy old age, as well as having provided short-term care for dogs of friends and family. I require a meet and greet for new clients before booking. I may also request a short trial visit (ie 2 hours) for new client boarding. My schedule is flexible so I can accommodate your pet's needs and provide them plenty of attention and care. I love all types of pet personalities! My home has lots of windows for your dog to sit and look outside, a nice neighborhood for walks and a big unfenced yard. I also have an open-door crate if your dog likes that sort of space. Your dog will always be leashed when outside.

She responded very quickly to our request thru the app. She came for a short visit so we and our doberman could meet her. I wanted her also to feel comfortable with our large dog. We needed someone to come a couple of days around midday to fed, potty, walk and play our very active 8 month old 60 lb dog. We had her come for an hour each day. It was also the first time we were leaving her all day. Jennifer did exactly what was asked and says she looks forward to helping us out again. I know we will use her in the future.”

About: I treat every pup like my own. If your dog isn't napping or resting, we'll be active and engaged. That may include playing with their favorite toy, going on a walk, or getting plenty of belly rubs and pats. I believe dogs thrive on love, attention, and activity. Therefore, I make sure they're never bored or lonely. I'm currently a student at UIC with one class online and one class in person. My schedule is very flexible, which allows me plenty time for walks, drop-ins and overnight care. Your dogs safety and comfort are my top priorities. On walks, I let your pep lead the way so they can explore at their own pace. I love finding nearby parks where they can burn energy. It I'm caring for a pet in your home, I'll always follow your instructions closely to maintain their normal routine.

About: I have had my dog now for almost 10 years. I used to care for my dog as well as a roommates dog at one point. I can give medications and can provide First Aid/Heimlich if needed. Strong enough to hold back and tame my 60 pound Boxer mix. I’ve also helped care/walk my sisters Great Dane and my friends smaller dogs for 7 years or so. I love animals and if you have other little friends who need care, just let me know what to do and I’ll do it. I work night shift as an ICU Nurse so I’m home all day. I can pop in and check on your babies any time during the day. I would need to know in advance only cause I do eventually sleep during the day. I’m aware you are trusting me with one of the most important members of your family, I’ll be happy to leave a photo and an update of any changes , good or bad, so you can enjoy some peace of mind that everything is alright.

About: Hi.! I have had experience training my first dog, chocolate Labrador when I was a bit younger in potty training, basic commands and fetch. He was a very hyper dog, but we made sure to train him well.! I now have a standard Goldendoodle that weighs just over 80 pounds. His name is Teddy. He is turning 4 in November and is very mild-mannered, completely opposite of the chocolate lab we use to have.! We go on daily walks of at least 2 miles.! I can’t wait to care for your furry pet like I do mine.! I work full-time, but I have flexibility with my schedule. I do not work a 9-5 job so I am able to make my own hours and schedule. I have dog-sitter for friends and family before in their homes so I always make sure to treat their dog like I do mine. I make sure to clean up after them, am aware of mine and their surroundings when on walks and at parks.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a child. I am a school psychologist and very in tune with animals and people and have a passion for taking care of others, especially dogs. I believe dogs truly make a house a home. I am off for the summer so have all day to take care of your pet. I enjoy walking and playing with dogs and would love to spend my summer with your fur baby. I have a fenced in yard. I have three teenage pet lovers who will also shower your dog with attention. I enjoy walking your dog if that is something your pet likes to do. I have a safe neighborhood with trails nearby. I will always be interested in your pet's personality. For example how they get along with other dogs and humans and I will always have their best interest in mind. I work full time but am off during the summer so I have plenty of time to play with your dog. During the school year I am not home from 7:30- 3:30 Monday - Friday. About: I have over 13 years experience doing vet assistant and vet technician tasks and skills as a volunteer at The Animal Welfare League in Chicago Ridge, IL. I have been employed as part of the membership and philanthropic department at Lincoln Park Zoo from which I learned a great deal, stemming from my biology classes on taxonomy to zoology, to specific animal facts and conservation of threatened animals. I therefore know a great deal of educational background on animal behavior. I studied psychology and comparitive human psychology/animal behavior with a bachelors in science from IIT. I have grown up with dogs, cats, and ferrets. At Southwest Animal Care Center, I bathed, fed, walked, medicated, and cared for boarding and patient animals. I graduated with my veterinary assistant certificate in 2018. After graduating from IIT, I became a kennel attendant and learned a great deal about how to care for animals. Pet care is a daily task for me as I take care for two little fuzzbutt ferrets, Icarus and Agatha. Icarus often wakes me up with his bushy tailed excitement. I'm lucky to have such wonderful critters in my life. Right now, I am only offering dog walking and off-site at client's home services. From what I've read from the anthropologist book "Inside of a Dog" by Alexandra Horowitz, animals, especially dogs, crave human attention so being attentive to an animal's needs is to me, what's most important. This includes communicating with animals to know when they need a bathroom break, when they want play, when they want affection and cuddles, when they want nappy time, being fed according to what their schedule is, and of course, offering healthy treats (if allowed) and new novel smells, toys, etc. I can manage 4-5 walks per day with one or multiple dogs at a time 5-6 days a week. This is my main job and I'm dedicated to providing top care as if they are my own. I take extra care to be a courteous and contentious guest in the owner's home. I treat my stay with respect and humbly care. You can trust me to provide excellent care and keep everything tidy and clean.
