I have been a dog walker/sitter for over 25 years. I walk a dog right now. He is a sweet Greyhound. I walk him 5 days a week, twice a day. I am very trustworthy. I work part-time on the night shift, so I'm usually out of the house between 9:30pm and 2am Monday through Friday. Outside of that- my schedule is flexible. About: I’ve taken care of my pet dog Bruno since he was a puppy, me and my family adopted him back in 2023 and now he’s turning 3 in May this year. I’m usually free throughout the week and I will always have plenty of time to care for them and for any of their needs! I will always make sure to speak with their owner first if they have any special needs and ask if there are certain instructions written down that will need to be followed regarding of their pets.
About: I have taken a dog behavior training at a local shelter. I have dog sat for family members for multiple days (in house and my home ) Unfortunately I work during the week. I am free Saturday and Sunday to pet sit or just to give your fur baby some love and attention for a couple hours while you’re away. I do not have pets of my own due to housing circumstances. While in a client’s home I ensure that all potentially dangerous items are out of reach and secure from the pets. I give pets their space when showing signs of distress. I was finally able to convince my parents to let me have a dog and I have been the main caretaker of my golden doodle smudge for about three years now I have recently switched jobs so I have a lot more free time on my hands and am finally able to get started with Rover after wanting to job for years. This way I can take care of and love on all of the animals and I can take some of the responsibilities off of another animal parent because I know it can be hard sometimes. My dog gets two meals a day and a snack around lunch time. We go on a short morning walk and a longer evening walk after dinner. For overnight house sitting my goal is to make sure to follow the routines that clients already have in place for their pets as not to change their schedules. My boyfriend Cameron and I love taking care of the dogs and giving them a special staycation
About: Available on some weekdays and weekends, will incorporate lots of exercise and playtime, have years of experience with caring for dogs, like my dog Benji. I don’t prefer to do house-boarding just because my current family dog isn’t dog-friendly with others. Because I grew up without a dog and have always wanted one, I was hoping to fulfill that gap with caring for other dogs. About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. I am currently working full time so my time currently is limited. I am available Friday nights, Saturdays and Sundays. All day Saturdays and Sundays Be patient and calm with pets that are withdrawn or scared. Pets are sensitive to change and may be missing their people; maintain their schedule as much as possible. When the pet is feeling comfortable, send pictures to the client, letting them know you're giving them extra attention.
