“Danielle was great with Monarch. She took really good care of him, all of our instructions and showed up for every visit. I know that sounds basic but it is huge. We will definitely use Danielle again and can’t thank her enough.”

“It was initially unsettling for me to find and hire a dog sitter for my very shy dog. Mark answered my prayers and was definitely up for the challenge!! He was calm, trustworthy and reliable. He had patience and compassion with Bella. What a great relief for me that I had absolutely no worries hiring this great pet sitter. Bella was well taken care of. I loved the uploaded picture he sent of Bella in the backyard. I will surely continue to book my pet sitting needs with Mark. I highly recommend him as he is awesome at what he does!!”

“Rachel did an excellent job with Monarch. Rachel kept me up to date and took pictures. Rachel took good care of Monarch, played with him, walked him, gave him his meds and fed him. This was my second attempt at home visits while away with Rover and my first went really bad. But Rachel has restored my trust and I will definitely use her services again.”

“It was our first time leaving Daisy with someone, and the experience couldn't have been more amazing. Jimmy kept us updated the whole trip, with photos and videos, but most importantly, he took care of her. We gave him a nervous dog, and we received a peaceful and loved dog back. He did an amazing job and I highly recommend him.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Chicago Ridge with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
